A Different Love

Part 4:: Star Lights have returned! But for how long?

It had been a long dreadful week, Usagi was still knocked out from back at the whole Mamoru thing. School was going to start in two weeks. Minako was doing much better and Seiya only had ten stitches, but Usagi got a concussion. The Starlights stayed at the hospital the whole time.

Yaten spent most of his time with Minako. Taiki spent most of his time with Ami since she was really sad about her friends. Last, Seiya never left Usagi's site. He was now a hero, but it didn't matter unless Usagi woke up.

Usagi was finally having a dream. She was in the time dimension and well, she couldn't see anything. It was cold and dark. Sailor Pluto was nowhere to be found. When suddenly she heard a young boy's voice call out, "Sailor Moon, Mamoru's death wasn't bad! If it wouldn't have happened, I wouldn't have been born. Plus, Chibi-Usa would have had pink hair!" Usagi ran to see the boy, but he disappeared within seconds, and she woke up.

Seiya smiled when she popped up. "Hey, how you feeling?" She turned to him and saw him sitting there. Usagi got big great happy eyes and hugged Seiya.

"I can't believe you came!" Usagi answered while snuggling up to him. "You’re my best friend, Seiya-chan!" Seiya's left eyes slowly started to twitch. Best friend? He liked her a lot more than just a best friend.

"Of course, Odango," Seiya answered while still holding her. *Man, I wish I could stay here forever. I would never want to go home.* Seiya thought to himself and finally released Usagi. "Well, I’d better call everyone and tell them you’re okay." Seiya picked up the phone and called everyone. In about ten minutes they were all there.

"Usagi, never scare me like that again!" Luna yelled while sitting on the end of her bed. Artemis jumped on the bed and sat next to her.

"I agree. What would have happened if you died? You need to be more careful around your choice of men," Artemis stated, seriously. Everyone in the room nodded their head.

Rei sat down on the end of the bed. "I knew he was a creep from the beginning. He never really did care for you. You gave him so much love, and he didn't give barley any in return." Usagi was about to start crying when Rei hugged her. "Don't worry, everything is going to be okay! We are here for you now! Seiya and

the others are going to stay here for a while."

Usagi looked up at Seiya, "Really?" She asked with eyes full of tears.

"Yep!" Seiya answered while running a hand through her hair. Her hair was longer than he thought. It was done of course. "We're going to start singing again and go to your school. It will be a lot of fun, Odango."

Usagi smiled and then Minako came walking into the room. "Usagi! Isn't this great?! We can go hunt for boys together!" Usagi got stars in her eyes. She never thought that being single was going to be so much fun!

"Yeah!" Usagi announced and Seiya was ready to hold up flags. Saying "Pick me! Pick me!" Of course he just sat there with a sad face. He gave her all the love he could, but she didn't notice it one bit!

Makoto smiled at the two dreamy eyed girls. "Well, if you guys want, I brought some cookies! They will help attract cute boys to you!" The girls looked over, now dazzled by what she said.

"Really?!" They both yelled extremely loud and Makoto nodded. The girls immediately started to inhale the cookies. Everyone ate a couple even Ami. "Those were really good! Thank you Mako-chan!" Usagi yelled while whipping her mouth off with a rag.

"You’re welcome Usagi, everyone." Makoto smiled brightly and they all nodded their heads.

A couple weeks went by, Usagi kept having that strange dream with the boy. It made no sense whatsoever. The good thing though was that they were all okay, and out of the hospital.

The first day of school was today. Usagi was still in

bed and Seiya was going to pick her up in ten minutes. "Usagi! Get

up! Get up! Seiya is going to be here any minute!" Ikuko yelled

while putting the alarm clock in her face.

Usagi looked at the clock and jumped out of bed. "Ah! I am going to be late! Why didn't you wake me up earlier!" Usagi then remembered. *Luna should have woken me up! Oh, wait! She is at Minako-chan’s house!* Her mother just shock her head while Usagi ran back and forth.

"I tried to wake you up five times! Oh! I'll just go make you your breakfast!" Ikuko walked down the stairs and started to make her lunch and breakfast. Just then Seiya-chan rang the doorbell. "Come on in dear!" She yelled from the kitchen.

He took his shoes off and put some slippers on. He bowed to her mother. "Good morning Mrs. Tsukino!" She nodded her head and smiled. Usagi came tearing down the stairs.

"Am I too late for breakfast?!" She yelled while putting all of her stuff in her cute backpack.

"Nope," Seiya answered while now sitting in a chair at the kitchen table. Shingo was eating breakfast by now as well. Ikuko set down some toast for Seiya and some for Usagi as she headed towards the table.

"Thank you, Mom!" Usagi answered and started to eat,

but not like she normally did. She wasn't trying to stuff all the

food she could in her mouth. In fact, she ate properly. Everyone was starring at her.

"Are you still upset about Mamoru?" Shingo asked in the rudest voice ever known to man. Usagi looked sad but didn't say anything. It was kind of surprising to tell you the truth. "I'm sorry, Usagi, I shouldn't have said that."

Usagi stood up, only finishing her milk and one piece of toast. "I am leaving now, bye Mom, bye Shingo!" She stated and walked to the door slipped on her shoes while getting her backpack and left.

"I wonder what is wrong with her?" Ikuko asked with tears in her eyes. "She didn't eat all of her breakfast."

Seiya stood up bowing. "I will find out, ma'am!" He then ran to the door and did the same thing Usagi did before she left. The only thing that was different was the fact he ran to catch up with her. When he finally got there, she was walking at a good pace. "You okay Odango?"

She looked down. "I wish Shingo would stop bringing him up. My heart shatters into a million pieces every time I hear that name." Seiya put a hand her shoulder and smiled.

"Don't worry, I am here! I will make you happy again!" He answered while winking at her. A blush came onto her face. She couldn't remember how long it has been since she blushed because of a guy. It felt good.

"Thank you Seiya!" Usagi answered and latched onto his arm as they walked to school. He finally reached it. He was in heaven. At least that is what he thought till he heard the most annoying voice of them all.

"Usagi-chan!" Minako screamed while running up to them and waving her bag in the air. "Wait up!" She finally made it to her other side. "Isn't it cool, now the Three Lights are here, and we might go to school on time for once!"

Seiya's head started to hurt. She could be cute but more annoying if anything, but Minako was Usagi's best friend. "Yeah! I hope they never leave!" Usagi answered.

Minako now noticed that Usagi was latched onto his arm. "Uh huh! I see! Seiya is finally making the moves on you!" Seiya and Usagi went in shock and pulled apart. Usagi didn't think he was since she was 100% blond in the head. Seiya's secret was told to Usagi, this could be very bad.

"WHAT?!?!?!" They both yelled at the same time. Of course they were beat red by now. Minako started to giggle and danced around them.

"You two are so cute together!" Minako yelled while continuing to dance for a minute till she stopped. She whispered in Usagi's ear. "Now you can convince Seiya to hook me up with Yaten!" Usagi started to growl.

"WE ARE NOT GOING OUT!" Usagi screamed and Seiya flew about twenty feet along with Minako. Minako started to laugh while Seiya was very pissed off!
