Christmas Eve Is Fantastic! Please Don’t Ruin It!
Usagi’s voice: Tonight is Christmas Eve. Everyone is so happy. But Nicole sends someone to ruin the happiest time of the year. I’m not going to allow her to do that!
Nicole holds her scepter to a flower and it becomes a girl, who has blue short hair and blue eyes, and is wearing white bikini and short boots, with pink ribbons around her.
Nicole: Monkshood, bring my warning to the sailor soldiers on Earth. Find the right Hope and Love Crystals and bring me back Prince Eric and Princess Irene. Got it?
Monkshood (bows to Nicole): Yes, your highness.
[Title Screen]
Today is Christmas day. The two couples are very busy at home. Seiya and Mamoru are decorating the house. Usagi and Chiyoko are making dinner in the kitchen.
Chiyoko (smiling): How did you convince Seiya to let you into the kitchen?
Usagi (giggles): I said I wouldn’t go out with him next time if he didn’t let me.
Chiyoko (raising her eyebrows): You boshed my brother again, didn’t you?
Usagi (nods): Yeah. By the way, why did you lock the room next to the living room?
Chiyoko (winks her right eye smilingly): It’s a secret.
Usagi: Then what about the gifts under the Christmas tree? Whom are they for?
Chiyoko: Those are the Christmas boxes for our guests.
Usagi (surprised): What? You didn’t say you bought gifts for them. What about us?
Chiyoko: I’ve got Christmas presents for everyone, including Mamoru-chan, Seiya, and you. I’ll give them to you later.
Usagi: What if they bring presents for the others and they’re the same as yours?
Chiyoko: You think everyone will do inappropriate things like you? Besides, I told them not to bring anything. I don’t think that will be a problem.
Usagi: I wonder what the presents are. May I see them?
Chiyoko: I’ve packed and wrapped the presents already. Please don’t touch them.
Usagi: Does Mamoru-san know what they are?
Chiyoko: No, this is a secret I keep from everyone, including Mamoru-chan, Seiya, and you. I’d like to surprise you all.
Seiya (shouting from the living room): Hey! We need someone here to see if we put the banner right. Could one of you come here?
Chiyoko: I can handle it from here. Usagi, you’d better go to help the boys.
Usagi (nods): Um. (Shouting,) I’m coming!
The doorbell rings. Usagi looks at the clock in the kitchen.
Usagi (surprised & confused): Why are they so early? It’s not even four o’clock yet.
Chiyoko: It’s possibly the delivery I ordered. I’d better go to check it myself.
They go to the living room. Usagi go to check on the boys. Chiyoko opens the door and lets the delivery guy in. After the guy left, Chiyoko continues on her job.
Chiyoko (thinking smilingly): Tonight is going to be great!
It’s about five o’clock. Everything is ready. Chiyoko, Mamoru, and Seiya are sitting in the living room. Usagi is so excited that she walks around the living room.
Chiyoko (smiling): Calm down. You look like you’re about to have a wedding.
Usagi and Seiya are blushed. Mamoru and Chiyoko laugh. Then the doorbell rings.
Usagi (excitedly): It’s them!
Usagi rushes to the door and opens it. It’s the four inners, Graces and the cats.
Girls and cats (smiling): Hi!
Usagi (smiling): Hi! Do come in.
Usagi leads them to the living room and sit down.
Chiyoko (smiling): I’ll go get you something to drink. What would you like?
Ami: Tea for me, please.
Rei: Tea is fine.
Makoto: Tea for me too.
Minako: I’d like to have some coke.
Two cats: Milk for us!
Yuko: Tea, please.
Keiko and Akiko: Coke, thanks.
The doorbell rings again.
Usagi: Chiyoko, you go get the drinks. I’ll go get the door.
Mamoru stays in the living room with four inners. Chiyoko go to get the drinks. Seiya and Usagi go to open the door. It’s Taiki and Yaten.
Taiki and Yaten (smiling): Hello!
Seiya and Usagi (smiling): Hi! Come on in!
When they go to the living room and sit down, Chiyoko comes out from the kitchen and puts down the drinks on the tea table.
Chiyoko: Hi guys! Would you like something to drink too?
Yaten: I’d like some beer.
Taiki: I’d like some tea, please.
Minako: Don’t drink too much beer, Yaten-kun. You may have my coke.
Yaten: It’s ok. You have your coke. Chiyoko-san, please give me some coke.
When Chiyoko comes back, she hears the car horn. She can see Haruka’s car, so she pushes a button to open the gate of the car park. She then goes to open the front door.
Chiyoko (waving hand): Hey! Come in.
Four outers and Victoria get out of their car and follow Chiyoko to the living room.
Chiyoko: What would you like? Green tea for Setsuna-san, right? How about the others?
Setsuna (smiling): You know me well.
Haruka: I’d like to have coke.
Michiru (smiling): I’d like to have tea.
Hotaru and Victoria (excitedly): Me too!
Then they start the party. They sing songs, dance, and play games until about 7pm.
Chiyoko (smiling): Everyone! It’s about time to have dinner. The food is in the dining room. Come with me.
Everyone follows Chiyoko to the dining room. The food is colorful on the table.
Chiyoko: You may have your food here, or in the living room where I’ll show a movie. All of the food here are your favourite food. And please, don’t eat mannerly.
Everyone laughs.
Minako: Woo! Japanese noodles, sashimi, sushi, caviar, vegetable salads, chicken wings, sandwiches, fugu, curry rice, steaks, pork, shish kebab, pork & green vegetable buns, hamburgers, and cherry pies. I’ll not be able to eat again in few days!
Makoto: Did you make these all by yourself?
Chiyoko: I made some of them with Usagi. I ordered the sashimi, sushi, and fugu from local restaurants. The caviar is from France. We also bought different kinds of ice cream and made a chocolate-cream cake in the refrigerator.
Usagi (pouting): All of the foods are our favourites. Chiyoko asked me about your favourite food a long time ago. Chiyoko has made painstaking efforts to arrange this Christmas dinner, so you have to finish all the food! Ok?
All (cheering): Yeah!
Minako: Woo! It’s delicious! They’re better than Makoto’s.
Makoto: Yes, really, they’re very good.
Chiyoko: Thanks. But be careful with the curry rice. Usagi made it all by herself.
Everyone looks at the curry rice with horrified faces immediately.
Usagi (pouting): Hey! What’s with that faces? Try it before you say anything!
Seiya: Yeah, I believe she made some improvements. At least she didn’t have any accident when she made the food.
Usagi pouts and the others laugh. Then Usagi looks at Seiya with full of hope when Seiya puts a huge spoon of curry rice into his mouth. He immediately goggles and quickly swallows it. Then he puts out his tongue and exhales.
Seiya: Um, the curry rice’s very special. You’ll regret the rest of you life if you don’t try it.
So, everyone tries some curry rice. Suddenly, some of them jump up, some disgorge, some quickly get some water to drink, some cough, and some choke.
Rei (coughing): Oh my god… Usagi… are you… are you trying to kill us?
Minako (holding a glass of water): Oh, the curry rice’s killing me here!
Chiyoko: Seiya’s right. We’d regret it if we didn’t try it. Now I’ll never forget it.
Usagi: What are you guys talking about? Oh, I know. You’re just pretending to make fun of me. I won’t buy it.
Usagi tries some curry rice and then she begins to cough and choke. Seiya quickly gives her some water. The others laugh. They’re enjoying in laugh and happiness.
Usagi (with food in her hands): What are we going to do next to dinner?
Chiyoko (wiping Usagi’s dirty mouth): Why do I have the feeling that I’m your mother instead of your sister, huh? Anyway, I’m going to give out the Christmas boxes after dinner. Then we will go to see the Christmas illuminations. OK?
Minako: You got Christmas presents for all of us?
Michiru: But we didn’t bring you anything…
Chiyoko: You don’t need to. I give you the presents as a token of my regard.
Minako: Then let’s finish the food quickly and open our gifts!
[CM Break]
After dinner, since they used plastic tableware, Chiyoko and Usagi just need to put them into the rubbish bin. The others go to the living room to have tea. After everything is done, Chiyoko and Usagi go back to the living room. Chiyoko gives out the gifts one by one and everyone unwraps them smilingly.
Chiyoko: I bought the present depending on your interests, hobbies or dreams. So the presents’ price would be varied. Please forgive me that. But the value of my regard of each gift is the same. This one’s for Artemis.
Artemis: You got one for me? It’s a bow tie! Thank you, Chiyoko-san.
Chiyoko: You are welcome. This one is for Luna.
Luna: It’s a body wash pack! Thank you, Chiyoko-chan. I love it!
Chiyoko: I’m glad you like it. It smells really good. This one’s for Victoria.
Victoria: It’s a doll! Thank you, Chiyoko-san.
Chiyoko: You’re welcome. This one’s for Hotaru-chan.
Hotaru: It’s a world history book. Thank you, Chiyoko-san.
Chiyoko: This one is for Setsuna-san.
Setsuna (surprised): It’s a…
Chiyoko: It’s a warranty for your new knitting machine. You may call the company and ask them to deliver it for you any time you want.

Rei: It’s a pack of Tarot with descriptions. I wanted this! Thank you very much.
Chiyoko: This one is for Makoto-chan.
Makoto: This is?
Chiyoko: This is a warranty for your new cookware set. Like Setsuna-san, you may call the company and ask them to deliver it for you any time you want.
Makoto: Thank you very much.
Chiyoko: This one is for Minako-chan.
Minako: It’s a wireless microphone! It’s so cool!
Chiyoko: Promise me you’ll use it at least once when you become a super singer.
Minako (excited): Of course!
Chiyoko: This one’s for Taiki-kun.
Taiki: “Shakespeare’s Poetical Works”. You really know my interest.
Rei (to Chiyoko): Yes, it’s not important what the prices of the presents are. You did spend your heart and time on searching our presents.
Chiyoko: Thank you. This one is for Yaten-kun.
Yaten: It’s a warranty for a set of photographic apparatus!
Chiyoko: Yeah, Seiya told me you love Photography, so I got this for you.
Yaten pats Seiya’s shoulder and gives him a slight smile. (It’s what Yaten will do.)
Chiyoko: Next is Yuko-chan.
Yuko: A stamp-collecting book, thanks!
Chiyoko: This is for Keiko-chan.
Keiko: Subscription for a year of Sports Magazine, thank you, Chiyoko-chan.
Chiyoko: It was hard to think of something for you, Keiko-chan. All you like is sports. I’m glad you like my gift. Now, Akiko-chan, this is for you.
Akiko: What is this? Oh, it’s a whole set of a new computer system! Thanks!
Chiyoko: It includes everything. You just need to call to make the delivery. It’s even harder to think of a gift for you. You only love cars, planes, and guns that sort of thing, even more like a boy than Haruka-san. (Everyone smiles.) I couldn’t buy you those, right? Chiyoko: It’s an interview appointment for Formula One driver and the sponsor documents you’ll need. You have to bring those with you to the interview, ok?
Haruka (nods, still shocked): How… how did you do it?
Chiyoko (smiling): I know you’re talented and well prepared to be a car-racing driver. But you don’t have a sponsor to get into the interview. So I sent your record to my father and asked him to be your sponsor. But I must remind you that’s not a short cut. My dad is just going to provide you the stock car. YOU are the one who have to work hard and try your best on the interview in order to be a Formula One driver, ok?
Haruka (touched): Thank you, Chiyoko-chan. I will try my best in the interview.
Chiyoko (nods): I wish you good luck. Now, please follow me.
All of them follow Chiyoko to the locked room next to the living room.
Usagi: No wonder you locked this room. You hide some of the presents here, right?
Chiyoko (nods and opens the door): I put some of the presents here because they would be easily seen of what they are.
Everyone goes into the room. Chiyoko turns on the light and picks up a violin.
Chiyoko: Here’s a new violin for you, Michiru-san.
Michiru: This violin…you ordered it from Italy, right?
Usagi: How do you know?
Michiru: This is from a famous violin factory in Italy. Thank you, Chiyoko-chan.
Chiyoko: You’re welcome. Now, it’s time to give the presents to the three most important people in my life. This is for you, Mamoru-chan.
Mamoru: It’s the Anatomy book I mentioned to you. Thanks.
Chiyoko: You did the same thing once, remember?
Mamoru nods and smiles. Then he holds Chiyoko and kisses her.
Usagi: I thought you would give us our presents later. You changed your mind?
Chiyoko: I think we should share the happiness with the others. Now, that one is for you. Usagi-chan, go to open up the white cloth yourself.
Usagi: This one? Oh! It’s a white rabbit! I’ve wanted this for a long time! Thanks!
Chiyoko: Don’t just thank me. Seiya told me that you would love this present and he chose the rabbit for you. He even paid a part of it. What I did was just put it there.
Usagi jumps into Seiya’s arms and kisses him.
Usagi: Thank you very much, Seiya-chan.
Seiya: You’re welcome.
Usagi: What’s her name? Have you named her yet?
Seiya: How about Chibi-Odango?
Usagi nods with a smile and kisses Seiya again.
Chiyoko (giggles): Now, it’s time for our last present, right, Usagi?
Usagi (surprised and blushed): You’re not going to give it to him here, are you?
Chiyoko (smiling): Yes, I am. This is the Christmas gift for you, Seiya.
Chiyoko takes out an audiotape form her pocket and hands it to Seiya.
Seiya (looking at the tape confusedly): What is it?
Usagi (nervously): It’s very late now. Let’s go to see the Christmas lights.
Everyone has sweat-drops.
Seiya: Odango, you are not good at that so just stop it. (To Chiyoko,) what is it?
Chiyoko: I’ve prepared your present since last year, before you come back.
Everyone, except Usagi who is deeply blushed, is surprised to hear that and becomes very curious.
All: Then what is it???
Chiyoko: Usagi once asked me why everyone could see that she fell in love with you but only she was not sure. Then I gave her a guideline to think of your relationship. This tape was the recording and all other stuffs she said about you. I asked for her permission to give this to you and she agreed. So here it is!
Seiya looks at Usagi surprisingly. Usagi is deeply blushed with her head down. Everyone looks at them smilingly. Seiya is touched. He hugs Usagi and kisses her.
Seiya (whispering in Usagi’s ear): Thank you, Odango.
Usagi (whispering in Seiya’s ear, blushing): You’re welcome.
Chiyoko (smiling): Ok now. Let’s go to see the Christmas illuminations.
All (cheering): Agree!
But when they get to the living room, there is a strange girl standing in the middle. Everyone is in shock. When she turns to face them, it’s Monkshood!
Monkshood: I knew it. Largest house has largest amount of people.
Haruka: Who are you?
Monkshood: You don’t need to know that. Just give me your Crystals!
Everyone is surprised to hear that. Monkshood puts her hands up and the ribbons around her body go to the boys and girls. Everyone jumps away and transforms.
Monkshood (surprised): What are you?
Moon: You don’t need to know that too. You just need to know you are not going to take our Crystals. For love and justice, I am the beautiful sailor-suited soldier, Sailor Moon! In the name of the Moon, I will punish you!
Monkshood (laughing teasingly): Sailor Soldier? Beautiful? Are you kidding?
Moon (angrily): Shut up!
Protector: Hope Crystal Divine Light!
Fighter: Love Crystal Divine Light!
Moon: Hope Crystal Eternal Light!
Monkshood is vanished with a monkshood left on the floor, and it disappears shortly.
Uranus: This monkshood is not a strong babe at all. What’s that supposed to mean?
Fighter, Protector, and Tuxedo Mask exchange a glance.
Pluto: I don’t know. I just know that we’d better be careful from now on.
Moon (smiles): Don’t worry. We can beat anything as long as we are together. Now, let’s go to see the Christmas illuminations first!
Everyone transforms back to normal, gets into the cars, and leaves. When they are watching the illuminations, Chiyoko talks with Seiya and Mamoru behind everyone.
Chiyoko: Are we going to tell them?
Mamoru: Let’s wait. We’re not sure if it was Nicole yet, right?
Chiyoko (nods with a worried face): OK.
Seiya: Don’t worry. Like Odango said, nothing we can’t beat, right?
Chiyoko smiles and nods. They catch up the others. Everyone is watching the Christmas illuminations merrily.
I’ll use flowers as Nicole’s henchmen because… I’m not telling you now. You’ll find that out later. There are lots of meanings and different versions of meanings for the flowers I choose. I’ll list the ones that I know. But keep it in your mind that I only choose the most suitable meaning to suit the mood and the theme of the episode, ok? Let’s start with monkshood, also known as wolfsbane, which means “beware, a deadly foe is near”. Quite suitable for this episode, huh? Some people even believe that they can use monkshood/wolfsbane to ward off evil spirits. It has colors of white, pink, silver, light gray, purple, and so on.
I got the info of Takeuchi Naoko's characters from the manga version. I am not sure if that applies to the anime version as well. I hope so. I made up the interest for the new ones myself of course.
