Here are
the Three Dreams in my story:
Three Dreams are around 25 years old and are trigeminous (triplet). They are all wearing gowns and holding sticks. Phantasus is in dark brown. Icelus is in dark blue. Morpheus is in dark gray. They have the same color of hair and eyes as their cloth.
Here are the Dreams in the Greek myth:
Morpheus,
Icelus, and Phantasus are Hypnos’ (The Sleep) three sons. Dreams were sent out
to man passing through one of two gates: a gate of horn from which true dreams
came; and a gate of ivory, from which false dreams passed through. Icelus gave
man dreams of birds or beasts. Phantasus gave man dreams of inanimate objects.
Morpheus had the wonderful ability to assume the form of any and every human
being. Hypnos sent him out into the night to appear as a loved one in mortal
dreams.
So, I
used their names but I didn’t use their ability and personality. In fact, most
of the Greek gods and goddesses I picked, I changed them from good to bad. I
should apologize to them. Hope they will forgive me.
