The Bernstein Family Home Page |
|
Welcome to our new home page location on geocities!
Why seld_bernstein? We are using it for a couple of reasons. First, seld is shorthand for Sean, Emma, Lori and David. And second, all other forms of the Bernstein Family for website names were already taken. We hope we haven't made it too difficult for you. We did our best to make it easy. :) We've designed this web page in order to let our friends and family keep up with the happenings in and around our home (which of course is really just a convenient way for us to show off the kids!). Please visit each of our pages. Our trip to Disneyland... In May of this year we finally got to take our first family vacation to the Magic Kingdom. We stayed on the property at Paradise Pier and got to visit Disneyland and California Adventure parks for several days. We also enjoyed a breakfast with Minnie and Friends, and a wild dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Emma and Sean were real troopers with all of the walking we did. Here are just a few pictures from our trip. We hope you enjoy them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Texans invade Roseville! In August of this year, David's grandmother, Nova, his Aunt Charlene, and cousin Lisa all visited from Texas. Many of the family members gathered at David's sister's home in Roseville for an afternoon of visiting, food and pictures. It was wonderful to get to see them and all of the other family and friends. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MDHS Class of 1986 It's hard to believe, and David still has trouble saying it, but it has been 20 years since David graduated from Mt.Diablo High School in Concord. David recently attended his 20-year reunion held at the Holiday Inn in Concord. While attendence was light, everyone there was so happy to get to visit and catch up with friends they haven't seen in a very, very long time. Twenty years has really flown by, but those friendships made so long ago stay strong. There's something to be said for friendships made in our formative years. David had a wonderful time and was very sad to see it end so quickly. He hopes it doesn't take another 20 years to see many of them again. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :: posted by David on 08/28/06 @ 5:00pm |
