Subject: I need some help.

I have a most peculiar situation. I am certain that you have never come across anything like this before, and hopefully you never will again. One day in the summer of 1995, I was drugged and hypnotized. A suggestion was implanted into my mind. When I go to sleep, if someone within earshot of me claps their hands it puts me in a suggestive state. The government is responsible. I need your help, but I am not sure if even you can help. Could you provide a safe place to stay or help me undo this 'hex?' Any help at all would be appreciated because if I don't lock my doors I am given shots while I sleep! I wake up with needle marks on my arms or wrists and I would feel woozy. I have done nothing wrong to deserve this. Please help. Thanks -Bill

Thanks for your recent inquiry.

You suggest that perhaps Amnesty International USA has not ever come upon a situation like yours described below, but in fact we come upon situations like yours very frequently. We often refer cases like yours to the American Civil Liberties Union, although realistically ACLU can only handle a small percentage of cases directed its way.

Amnesty International USA is not in a position at this time to take on these highly complicated cases, but A.I. supports the efforts of other organizations to identify and work against domestic human rights abuses. While we cannot recommend any particular organizations, we can suggest that you explore members of the Support Coalition International and determine if any group in that coalition can be of help to you.
