New Digimon: BlackSerpahimon, Aldamon
Summary: One by one Mercuremon sees his comrades fall convincing him to take matters into his own hands.
Meanwhile, Agunimon has chosen a portal that sends him into a dark area filled with mirrors. Mercuremon appears before him. Mercuremon declares himself the warrior of steel, and he intends to kill Takuya on his own terms. The evil digimon taunts Agunimon by disappearing and reappearing with the help of the numerous mirrors. Agunimon is frustrated and breaks the mirror....he doesn't want to play these silly games. He attacks with a "Pyro Tornado", but it is reflected back at him.
The continuing antics lead Mercuremon and Takuya into another portal. The large building resembles that of a church. Suddenly, Mercuremon summons Seraphimon shown wrapped in ropes of thorns and hanging from the alter. Using this scanned data, Mercuremon and Seraphimon merge into the powerful "BlackSeraphimon".
Agunimon beast spirit evolves to BurningGreymon who attempts attack after attack. BlackSeraphimon avoids the attacks and sends a devastating "Seven Hells" blow that results in BurningGreymon's de-evolution back to Takuya. It looks bad. Takuya is weakened so badly that he can barely move. BlackSeraphimon says..."This is the End" and prepares a coffin. He lifts Takuya by the head and gets ready to finish him off. Tears stream down Takuya's cheeks, but the boy refuses to give up.
J.P., Zoe, and Tommy are agonizing at what they see happening within the orb. Just then Seraphimon's digiegg emits a beam of energy to Takuya causing BlackSeraphimon to release the boy. Takuya fusion evolves to Aldamon.
In a twist, it is now Aldamon who has the upper hand. Aldamon's "Brahma Sutra" attack is so powerful that Takuya is able to purify and send Seraphimon's fractal code back to the digiegg. At this point Mercuremon tries to run, but Aldamon pursues. Another effective "Brahma Sutra" attack destroys the mirrors. Aldamon follows it up with a massive blow to Mercuremon ....."Fractal Code Digitize"....and Aldamon now has the human spirit of steel.
Takuya leaves Sakkakumon and runs to the others. Bokomon appears to be in labor!? Suddenly the digiegg splits and Patamon is born!
