It takes place 3 years after the original 8 Digidestined return from the Digital World. A digidestined calling himself the "Digimon Emperor" go into Digital  World and using his Black Digivice and Control Spires, he placed a lock on evolution preventing any of the Digidestined's Digimon stopping him. 5 new Digidestined were chosen:Davis,Cody, and Yolei are the 3 new Chosen Ones and T.K and Kari return from Season 1. Because of the lock placed on evolution, their Digimon have to digivolve using the 8 Digi-Egg Armors, special armors that the Digimon wear, one for each of the 8 former Crests. The Digimon Emperor's Control Spires can't prevent the use of Armors, so they are the only hope of defeating Digimon Emperor. Will the Digidestined be able to stop this new enemy? We'll just have to wait and see....
