FAMILY HISTORY

The Fonseka family is from a sleepy little town in the suburbs of Negambo City the second or third largest city it Sri-Lanka. It is on the west coast of Sri-Lanka an hour north of Colombo the capital. Our home parish is St Annes Catholic Church. Most of my Uncles, Aunts and Cousins who are still in Sri-Lanka reside in Negambo.

My father Augustine is a great provider, he sent three kids through college so far and the fourth is just around the corner. He began work at the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB). A few years after I was born he decided to go work in the Middle-East in a country called Bahrain for the Ministry of Works, Power and Water. Recently he was the President of the Sri-LAnkan Club of Bahrain. He has been a very succeful Toast-Master on top of that.

My mother Susila is the best mother and homemaker I could be blessed to have. She makes the best home cooked meals and I still remeber the cool clothes she would make for me.

It has been a family tradition to return to Sri-Lanka to continue our Secondary education.I attended Colombo International School. Followed by three years at the Institute of Technological Studies.
It is also a family tradition to attend the State University of West GA.

My brother Nishan Currently resides in Melbourne, Australia with his wife Delani and daughter Shaheni. She is really cute & my God Daughter. He is a Computer Engineer. So hes got a great family of his own now.

My sister Saumya has a masters in Management Information Systems from Georgia State. She is my favourite sister.

My younger brother Vishva is getting ready for his A-levels & goes to Colombe International School in Sri-Lanka. He is taking Computers, Business, Biology & ___. This unique selection is a combination of the fields of his elder brothers and sister. We all love him very much.

My name is Seneth, I graduated with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences in May of 2003. I am an active Catholic trying to discerning my vocation in life.
