Student  Work and School Bulletin Board produced by BLA Students
The Japanese Program and students studying Japanese at BLA were invited to participate in an exhibition at the Japanese Cultural Festival held by the Japanese Language School of Greater Boston on Saturday, October 22.

The Japanese Cultural Festival known as "Bunkasai",  is one of many annual school events in Japan.  It is held in  the fall since November 3rd is the national holiday called "
Bunka no hi" that celebrates art and literature.  In schools, student work is displayed and students perform music and plays on the stage.

More than twenty BLA students and some families participated in this event and spent a half-day mingling together with many school-aged Japanese children and parents.  The student work from BLA was also displayed and many visitors expressed interest in the process of student learning and achievement in Japanese as a foreign language.
