Relena was adopted by the Vice Foreign Minister after the destruction of Sanc. She was a very quiet girl. When she was about 11, a young war orphan came to the school she was attending at the time. He was forever gossiped about by the other girls. When terrorists struck at the Darlian estate, the orphan was suspected to be behind it. Relena was abducted, but rescued almost immediately by Milliardo Peacecraft, who inspired a quote later attributed to her.
