I started adding a tribute to Sept 11th on my lyrics website, but I found way too much stuff to add to that site, so I started one only for this.  If you have any pics, videos, songs, or tributes you'd like to add, email me. My tribute is at the bottom. Two Video Tributes so far, more coming soon....                      New song tribute sent in by Patricia Welch

LOOK A LITTLE FAMILIAR?
May take a while for all pics to load, but it's well worth it!

Cross Found Amidst the Rubble
On September 11, 2001 the unthinkable happened. America was attacked by terrorists killing thousands of innocent people.

Many Americans just stood still in shock either watching the news, listening to the radio, or surfing the web to find out all they could about what was going on.

It is something people of our time can not even fathom. As many people mourn the loss of loved ones, many of us hold ours close and remind them how much we love them. Americans as well as the world can only be wondering what comes next?

Will our lives ever be as calm and easy as they were before? Is this the beginning of World War III or the Apocalypse?

Though many of us are hurting we must still remember that this was done by a unit of people and not an entire country. We feel the need to right what has been done wrong. We should do all we can to achieve this goal, but remember hate is what caused this and if you let hate into your heart you will be no better than those who did this.

Make no mistake America will strike back, but in the process of doing so many more innocent people will die. So as you mourn for those who lost their lives on September 11 make sure to pray for those innocent beings who are likely to get caught in the line of fire as well.

Our military is one of the best of the best and is getting the job done the safest way possible.  Pray for every branch one just like the other for they are all doing their part to keep us safe.  We are neverending grateful to those who put their lives on the line for us.

Keep hope alive and be careful, God bless us all...
~Amy
Tomorrow

When tomorrow starts without me
And I'm not there to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We didn't get to say

I know how much you love me
As much as I love you
And each time that you think of me
I know you'll miss me too
But when tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand
That an angel came and called my name
And took me by the hand
And said my place was ready
In heaven far above
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love

But when I walked through heaven's gates
I felt so much at home
When God looked down and smiled at me
From His great golden throne
He said "This is eternity
And all I've promised you"
Today for life on earth is past
But here it starts anew
I promise no tomorrow
For today will always last
And since each day's the same way
There's no longing for the past
So when tomorrow starts without me
Don't think we're far apart
For every time you think of me
I'm right here in your heart

*This poem was written by a friend of Aaliyah's after she passed away, but I felt that it is quite beautiful and honors those who have tragically died.*

Can't Cry Hard Enough
I'm going to live my life
Like every day's my last
Without a simple goodbye
It all goes by so fast

And now that you're gone
I can't cry hard enough
No I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now

I'm going to open my eyes
And see for the first time
I've let go of you like
A child letting go of his kite

There it goes up in the sky
There it goes beyond the clouds
For no reason why
I can't cry hard enough
No I can't cry hard enough

For you to hear me now
I'm going to look back in vain
And see you standing there
When all that remains
Is just an empty chair

And now that you're gone
I can't cry hard enough
No I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now
There were angels there to help all that were affected by the Sept 11th attacks
