Septic Asphyxiation was formed at the end of December 2002, arising from a number of much less serious projects. Vocalist Justin Byxbe and Guitarist Eric Chase (Both resposible for the creation of Techno Satan, Exploding Head Disorder and Hecatomb) found the drummer they need in long time friend and recently freed Manuel de Jesus Sanchez the 3rd. The trio began jamming and loosley writing songs under the name Gargorgawich. Bassist Brandon Ray was quickly added, and the band name changed to Septic Asphyxiation. The goal was simple: Create a sick and twisted, mosh-inducing groove filled sludge. Our style was dubbed rape metal, and we soon began writing songs. March 1st, 2003 Septic Asphyxiation played it's first show, and has promised the same live show since: a spectacle of anger, violence, hard pitting and fights. After 2 previous attempts, a final demo has been produced, entitled "Cheap shit for kids". After a tumultous last 4 months involving plenty of legal trouble, Septic Asphyxiation has re-cemented it's situation, and will renew their warpath of aggression. |
