EGYPT
The Origin of the Enigma
Chapter Eleven: Baalbek.
Back Home
"Concerning Egypt, I will now speak at length, because nowhere are there so many marvellous things, nor in the whole world beside are there to be seen so many things of unspeakable greatness." HERODOTUS - 5th Century BC
For more information on the origins of these monuments, go to the Current Theories section. Otherwise, continue on to Baalbek.
There already exists many sites and texts holding great deals of well-researched information on this area, and to regurgitate this information is not only out of the scope of these pages, but would serve no purpose, as many far more researched intellectuals have already done just this. All that will be stated on this site will be a select few of the enigmas that correspond with the theories represented within the Current Theories section.

Hence such edifices as the
Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, the Osireion, will be represented here, albeit in a condensed form, only as an outline of their historically anomalous nature.

The reason that this land has borne such scrutiny is that not only does it appear that this culture evolved overnight in evolutionary terms, but that their technology in structural design and engineering evolved even more rapidly. They seem to have gone from virtually no techological capacity to an unsurpassed level, even in modern times. Then, a few hundred years later, it degenerated back to virtually nothing again. It appears that this culture did not evolve, but rather, it devolved. This seems to indicate that they were a culture that inherited this knowledge, that they were given knowledge, held by their priests, that surpasses even todays technology. The idea that this culture was spawned by an external influence is not a new one, and nor has it been adequately refuted by achaeology. Hence it has survived where many other theories have fallen by the wayside. This is out of the scope of these pages; for more on this topic, see the
Current Theories section. These pages are designed to give an overview of the WHAT of the historical anomalies in our world. The WHY, the HOW, and more importantly, the WHO, will be discussed within the pages of the Current Theories section.
