Final Fantasy Forever
Class Information

this Section is still under Construction still but feel free to read.

Class Descriptions are still under construction. Also, These are done in alphabetical order so don't get mad alchemist is first on the list.

Alchemist (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Concoction

Alchemists buy a stock of "ingredients". Ingredients cost about 10 Gil. Ingredients are used to create instant items known as "Concoctions". These concoctions are recipes using a certain number of Ingredients to create a temporary item. If the item isn’t used in an hour or so, it looses its potency and the ingredients are wasted. For example... Potions have a (1) Ingredient cost. This means that on the battlefield, an alchemist could whip up a Potion by using a single Ingredient, but it must be used within an hour or become useless. This of course means that instead of buying potions at a store for 50 Gil, they can buy 5 Ingredients for 50 Gil and make 5 temporary potions for their group. They can also break down other items to gain 1/2 of the items Ingredient cost back as more ingredients. If you take apart the same item (phoenix down for instance) Multiple times, you may just learn the concoction to begin making them. Alchemists begin with 3 concoctions: Potion automatically and 2 others. PM me for the list of Concoctions and their Ingredient costs.

Archer (Fighter Class)
Key Primary Ability: Trick Shot

Bard (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Sing

this class learns songs that bestow beneficial status ailments on their foes and allies. The area of effect gets larger as the dancer/bard gets more skilled... but even to begin with its a fair size area (say about 30' radius in every direction). The Bard gains status-boosting effects such as STR Up, Haste, defense up, and minor healing. As long as they perform these benefits apply... but as soon as they stop the effects are voided. To begin with, Bards receive only a single Song... but there is no requirement to learning new techniques other than finding someone to teach them. There is no limit to how often or how long they can perform... except of course the exhaustion of singing for extended periods.

Beast Master (Fighter Class)
Key Primary Ability: Animal Companion

Berserker (Fighter Class)
Key Primary Ability: Rage

>>Description Pending

Black Belt (Fighter Class)
Key Primary Ability: Blitz

Have access to techniques called Blitzes. These can be anything from fierce combos that deal extra damage, to attacks that turn their unarmed damage into ranged damage, and finally to near supernatural abilities to heal themselves or others close by... and create storms of ki energy to harm an entire area of enemies. These techniques however are NOT self-taught... and all Black Belts begin with a single technique taught to them by their mentors. *usually they are not so flashy but useful*. Blitzes tire the Black belt... but are otherwise unrestricted in use.

Black Mage (Mage Class)
Key Primary Ability: Black Magic

The black mage is the master of elemental power and destructive magic. They bend reality to their will in order to control the elements and devastate your foes. While not physically powerful, these spell casters are an awe-inspiring sight to behold in combat.

Blue Mage (Mage Class)
Key Primary Ability: Blue Magic

>>Description Pending

Dancer (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Dance

this class learns dances that inflict or bestow detrimental to their foes. The area of effect gets larger as the Dancer gets more skilled... but even to begin with its a fair size area (say about 30' radius in every direction). The dancer gets dances that mirror status ailments... such as the Blindness, Silence, Bio, and Stop. As long as they perform these negatives, apply... but as soon as they stop the effects are voided. To begin with, Dancers receive only a single dance... but there is no requirement to learning new techniques other than finding someone to teach them. There is no limit to how often or how long they can perform... except of course the exhaustion of dancing for extended periods.

Dark Knight (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Dark Sword
Secondary Ability: Black Magic

Beginning with the dreaded Energy Wave attack. They use some of their own health to expel a wave of dark energy from their swords that damages everyone in a medium sized cone directly in front of the DK. Similar to this... nearly all Dark Knight dark sword abilities require the sacrifice of small portions of the Dark Knights health. This makes potions and healing magic the Dark Knights best friend.

Dragoon (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Jump
Secondary Ability: Dragon Magic

All Dragoons start with the "Jump" ability, which gets more powerful as they gain in power. Beyond that, they have the ability to move unhindered even in the heaviest armors... and they have access to Dragon Magic... not right away, hence why the dragoon need not pm me for beginning mp or spells. Once the game gets rolling, it will become available to them.

Engineer (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Construct

They work similar to Alchemists in almost every way except they construct weapons and armor and other useful devices and tools from Parts. Parts are a little more expensive... but the devices they create are permanent. Engineers can also create unique and specialized ammo for any Firearms weapons. They can break down weapons and tools into parts similar to the alchemist... and perhaps their most sought after ability is the ability to install new materia slots in existing equipment. This ability however is learned later in their career. Again, pm me if you are an Engineer and Ill give you some more in depth info.

Geomancer (Mage Class)
Key Primary Ability: Geomancy (Geo Magic)

>>Description Pending

Gun Mage (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Blue Magic
Secondary Ability: Fiend Hunter

>>Description Pending

Gunner (Fighter Class)
Key Primary Ability: Trigger Happy

They are permitted way more attacks than any of the other class since their weapons require so little actual effort to use. Their attacks are probably the weakest depending on their weapon... but the speed at which they can cap off shots is frightening. The only real ability of the gunner is their Trigger Happy attitude... rarely focusing on a single foe, instead spreading their damage around to help slay everything. In short... its perfectly reasonable to assume that the gunner will fire 3-4 times per every strike of the warrior... more if they wield dual weapons. Just don’t expect to leave the same destruction in your wake as that of warrior’s powerful strikes.

Ninja (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Ninjitsu Techniques
Secondary Ability: Free Paired Weapons

Paladin (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Holy Sword

Summoner (Mage Class)

Thief (Specialist Class)
Key Primary Ability: Steal

Everyone knows the thief steals Gil. However, they can also steal items, gear, and even hp/mp when they get more powerful. Eventually they begin to be capable of stealing sanity to cause berserk; stealing hearts in the opposite sex to charm them... and at truly powerful skill... steal souls to cause instant death. Of course, to begin their career they simply steal Gil and items. Stealing these takes no MP or such.

Warrior (Fighter Class)
Key Primary Ability: Great HP
Secondary Ability: Extra Primary Weapon

Don’t have techniques; instead, they get the phenomenal ability to soak up ungodly amounts of damage. A Warrior can generally be assumed to be able to stand up to nearly any attack and at least survive when they have full Hp. They can take a beating and keep on going. This is not a license to be unbeatable... but it is a license to portray your character having the tar beat/shot/stabbed/and blasted out of him and still survive. Use common sense... then indulge just a little.

White Mage (Mage Class)
Key Primary Ability: White Magic
