You know that there is something really wrong when I say that I'm not getting enough sleep.

Like I've so far done most weekends, I slept until past noon today (maybe this is something of an exaggeration - after ten in the morning it gets too hot to actually sleep, so I just toss and doze and listen to everyone else not sleeping down below). That's not just me being lazy, I really do need to get that sleep in (best exemplified by my slumber time train adventure yesterday). I know that I've talked about it before, but I have a lot I need to get done everyday, and sometimes it cuts hard into my sleeping time. Right after class is homework time, and then taking care of computer affairs (like my journal, e-mail and such) until five. Then it's off to the train station, which after cycling and all, gets me home at a little after six. At that point I usually need at least a little break, so I just chill out until dinner is ready. After which its back to the books (I tend to give studying short shrift after class because of my limited allotment of computer time), which tends to keep me busy until ten, and then to finish things off, I write my journal for the day. So, when things go well, I get in about six hours worth of sleep. If I ran things, this would be so much more than enough, because for however much I enjoy the act of sleeping, wasting so much time just lying around doing nothing (mental regeneration aside) drives me nuts.

Oh well, conquering my need for sleep will have to wait another day. I'm tired.

Something that I just realized today: Imouto speaks in the third person a lot. This isn't quite as strange as it would be in English because given the Japanese language's general disinclination towards pronoun usage children generally first learn to speak using the third person. It's actually considered rather 'cute' to persist in doing so, although that only up to a point (it's cuter when girls do it as opposed to boys, and I really have never heard of anyone above the age of ten doing it).

For those keeping track of such things, Okaasan's neck is doing fine, and for that matter so is my knee. She only wears the neck brace when she out and about doing stuff that might cause her to move her head. Out of curiosity I took a quick stroll around the car. As far as I could tell there wasn't even any damage, so I guess that all is well that ends well.
