Inspiration

You inspire me
to be more then I possibly can
or would ever be.
Just the touch of your embrace
gently, lovingly...
raises me to the heights
of celestial heavens.
Oh love, forbid me not
to enter your garden of love.
Take pity ...for I
sojourn here so seldom,
my feet on this earth
for a short time.
Kiss me with angelic lips,
golden hair cascading
clinging
to our wet play.
Oh love, love
I can but say endlessly
I love only you.
Can'st thou believe me,
this stranger  to your land.
Come, join me.....
let us linger just awhile
in this sacred garden of love.

                 Aspirations of Love

To become even more then we are,
               to love...in depths from afar.
This is our quest, fulfilling our soul,
              once apart, now we're whole.
To see our beloved as best,
              only for us...forgetting the rest.
To hold fragility in our hands,
             tenderly, caressingly grand.
To bring ourselves as we can only be,
hearts exposed, come naked are we.
Chancing on catching the golden ring,
a carousel of life, the love that we bring.
To know the world can't understand,
but contentment, we'll hold in our hands.
For we aspired to the boldest and best,
Quixotic, sword high, for we passed the test.
And our reward, though nebulous and brief,
Carved on our hearts, love..in bas relief.

A Robin Cried

I thought I heard a Robin cry
and it was singing out your name.
A tear slid down the window sill,
for I'd never be the same.
Cautiously a foreboding
crept into my heart,
and I tasted bitter tears,
knowing we had to part.
Remarkedly a sparrow sang,
slightly out of tune,
as if its' heart was broken,
and hadn't any room.
One foot raised above the water,
I dipped a toe inside,
then immersed my grieving heart,
till I was satisfied.

My Hell

Oh love, cast me not into that dungeon called Hell,
which is life without you.
The sweet breath from your lips
not entering again my mouth,
nor touced by the hand evermore.
How can'st you love another,
when my soul has whispered your name
a thousand times?
When your lips have touched my hands,
my breasts, and we were intertwined.
From whence comes this abandonment,
and did I fail to see?
Love, oh love, tempt me not...into this misery.

Dance With Me.

I'm filling our my dance card,
with only your name,
hoping the impossible,
that yours is the same.
Dance with me,
waltz throught this life,
a wild gypsy twirl of mad abandon,
for you have my heart,
now please take my hand..
into the future,
step out into the light.
Perhaps darkness may overtake us,
but as long as you dance with me,
the light will shine again.
I throw the doors open wide,
hoping for loving
and giving our dreams away.
Hold me...step onto the dance floor,
step by step.....
and my heart will beat again.
