Rainbows' End

Oh Lord, this road seems so long,
dusty..as if it will never end.
But I treasure each gift
I find round the bend.
There will be rainbows
waiting for me,
or snow-capped mountains,
my present from thee.
Thank you oh Lord,
for laughter in all
to brighten my days
when tempted to fall.
Dear Lord, the miracles you've
sprinkled on my way
remind me to thank you
for blessings each day.
And, if I should falter,
stumble on rocky roads
Oh Lord, I am confident you'll
lighten my load.
How brilliant your golden sun
shines on my face
here in this magnificent
tucked away place.
I know I've never chosen
the easier path,
but knowing you guide me
no fears can I hath.
In this sacred moment
I must stop to say..
thank you dear Lord,
for making this day.

       A Grain of Sand

I am that pebble.....falling
into this sea of chaos.
  ******************
I am that bird on wing,
      soaring, dipping to the earth,
        only to soar again.
          ****************
I am that grain of sand,
               gathering layers of pearl,
                 until I  emerge, shining.
                  *******************
                 I am that voice, whispering,
                then a chime, a tone
               of remembering.
              *******************
             I am that starburst
on the horizon of your soul.
          *******************
I am that drop of water
        moistening parched lips.
       *********************
      I am that violin playing
     symphonies in your heart.
    ********************
   I am that gentle deer,
  licking the embryonic sack
   from my gift.
     ******************
I am a thought in your mind,
of what you think I am.
            *******************
               And you also are,
                  All that I am.

The Bee's Knees

Have you ever watched a  honey bee
suspended in mid-flight?
Have you ever watched a hooty owl
flying in the night.
Have you ever seen a glowing sunset
through the eyes of a child,
Have you ever felt the wind in your hair,
while running wild?
Have you ever kissed a dewdrop
tasted nectar from the bloom.
Have you ever eaten blackberry pie
till there isn't any room?
Have you ever wondered about the stars
to count how many there are.
Have you ever heard a new baby cry
and sang a crooning lullaby?
Have you ever whispered I love you,
and sent it with the clouds,
Have you ever talked with angels
and thanked the Lord out loud.
Have you ever found space in your heart
for gratefullness in every day,
For all the blessings given to you
in so many special ways.
If you have ever done all these things,
true magic has come to you.
For the love of life and all its' joy
is in the simplest things we do.

              If I Were........

If I were a Goddess
             of a universe
I'd have compassion
             for all I 'd see.
The ups and downs
             that bring the frowns
I'd know are lessons
             only for thee.
There is a road for
             each to take,
It comes out in the end,
             that to my bosom
You'll return, needing
             my care to ment.
Each call for help is
             always heard, for
In my powers would'st lie
             answers for your highest good
Though I know could'st
             make you cry.
Sweet kisses to be placed
             on each your brow,
You'd see my imprint there,
             and feel the love that's
In your hearts,
             coming from me now.
I'd touch your heart
              with rainbows,
Roses filled with dew
              April showers in the spring
Is what I'd send to you.
              Promises of sunny days
To warm the cold inside
               Orange leaves scattered
In the fall
                waves ebbing with the tide.
Wintery blankets of purity
                soothing all the pain
Snowballs crashing in your face
                so laughter comes again.
But I am not a Goddess,
                only human, just like thee,
And, in my darkest hurting hours
                It's she, I 'd like to see.
Until that time of ascension
                to that heavenly space
It's up to you and me alone
                to comfort in her place.
And, so my friend,
                this poem I write
A healing art for me,
                and share my love
With all who ask,
                whoever that may be.

     Michael, Un Ange, Especiale

Certainly an angel.
              so special. Never tired,
without failure guiding my footsteps,
              up rocky paths..and down,
gently, understanding,
              never judging-just loving.
Your energies sustain me
              and calm my spirit.
Would that I could see your
              dear face...but, it is there,
in a cloud, a tree, in that small
flower I passed on the way.
Your love, your beauty....
              surrounds me
and permeates my soul.....with
              waves of compassion.
I weep tears of joy, in the wonder
              of this universe,
When you take my hand and we
              journey together...
You help me to become
              all that I can be,
Ma Ange, especiale, Michael.

Simplicity

And then.....God laughed,
God rolled over and had
a great belly laugh!
His creat-tures
finally were getting it!
The ones he had designated
the pranksters, the tricksters,
had finally opened
the doors of understanding.
A doorway into themselves,
that has endless doors,
leading nowhere and everywhere.
The humans were the slowest
to comprehend, because
their egos would not bend.
They imagined they were
whole unto themselves,
sovereign entities.
The animals, birds, and fish
got "it" a long time ago.
In fact, they never really
lost "it".
They knew their part in the
scheme and happily
played it out.
Awakened humans
finally realilzed that power-
that elusive power,
which all are seeking,
is simply found in
the joy of existence.
.......God Laughed......

My Truest Love

My truest love hath not form nor face
but He can be seen in every place.
His love that comes to me so dear,
come with grace, living here.
His voice that upon my ears does fall
is natures sound, found in all.
His touch, so tender is in a breeze,
tugging at face and hair, just to tease.
His gifts to me ..beyond human endeavor
in flowers, in rainbows promising forever.
My love hears everything I want to say
and gladdens my heart to start each day.
With thoughts of comfort, wiping away tears,
He sends the gift of forgetfulness of the years.
My truest love would never leave
so there is no reason for me to grieve.
If it is guidance that I need,
it is in the quiet, if his voice I heed.
Judgements, He hath not knowledge of
knowing I sometimes block his love.
Although his form is hidden from view,
I see his likeness coming through...
wonders and miracles from every side,
a land of enchantment, no need to hide.
My truest love will never fail,
to hear my voice through the veil..
Asking guidance..for protection,
sending for me, what's in perfection.
My truest love's so precious..and I know why,
a Fathers' love to his child, will never die.

                    Be Kind Day

Everyone needs, just once in awhile
to do something special that makes them  smile.
With each one it's different, that's easy to see,
what makes you happy, is not the same for me.
For some, it is sipping expresso, sitting in a cafe,
greeting dear friends to hearten your day.
With others it maybe a walk in the park,
or time with a cherished one, just for a lark.
Old movies and books are such great escapes
from pressures of lilfe that take you away.
Music can enter the depths of your soul,
healing emotions and making you whole.
And then there's the ocean, watching the view
as tides ebb, thinking things through..
It could be lying in a meadow, clouds floating by
seeing pink elephants, rainbows or butterflies.
Special moment  holding hands with someone you love
or a spiritual experience sent from angels above.
Here's something to ponder through and through
for now one can do this for you...but you.
So many holidays, there are that we see,
but there should be one that's "Be Kind to Me".
