Serendipity
Serendipity has been around for about 10 months, as Serendipity. Serendipity has been around since Kevin and Brett's eighth grade year of elementary school. We started out as just Kevin and Evan Tiernan messing around and writing funny songs such as, "Raisins", "Helping Hand", and "Free Slaves". We then turned to find a drummer to help us out and we then found Brett Polly, who, at the time, decided to learn drums and join the band. We progressed a little throughout that year, writing songs such as, "Reality Check", and "House of Pain". We then found Isaac Newman, who became our bass player. We had some fun, but because of certain problems, we got rid of him. Now we were back to the trio. Later into our freshman year, Evan Tiernan quit the band in January for certain reasons. Now there was two, Kevin and Brett. We started to go for a heavier image, seeing's how we were soft rock with Evan. We then found another bass player, Ben Sackenheim shortly after. We practiced a few times with Ben, but because of disagreements on our musical style, Ben was asked to leave. Now back to the duo once again. We had a couple of cool songs written, such as, "Hated", "Beautiful Day (Bipolar Mr. Rogers) and "Failure", so we decided to look for another guitarist so that Kevin could solo. We found Brett's cousin David, whom we had heard on that past Halloween and he was pretty good. We asked him to fill the job, and after a little bit of persuading, we got him in. We were now satisfied with the power that we had and we worked to write our first cd, now named "When Society Falls". We now have our permanent line-up, with the exception of a lead singer, which Kevin has taken over as of now. The line-up now knownst as Serendipity:

Kevin Schutte - lead guitar, voice, master soloist

David Pohlman - rythm guitar, master shredder

Brett Polly - drums, master percussionist
