Current Residence: She doesn't have permanent residence in Corus yet, but she does have a room at an Inn on Rover's street.

Fighting Skills: She can hold her own. Her family were constantly on the move, so while they were traveling, they often had to defend themselves against bandits, thieves and thugs. She can wield a dagger with some skill. She carries a dagger on her belt and a small pocket sized knife in one of her pockets.

Magic: None. To be honest, she's a little jealous of those who have it. But honestly, the Gift in her hands would not be a good idea.

Occupation: Thief and smuggler. Her family are smugglers, so she works as part of the family business. Their business is in moving stolen goods from place to place. Thea both steals goods and transports them to her family overland and sells goods that her family have transported to her. She also buys stolen goods from thieves, but there's no fun in that.

Important People:

Raydon and Galena Hoban - Parents - They're a funny family, more like business partners than a family really. They work as smugglers who are constantly on the move. They don't have permanent residence anywhere, because they never spend more than a month in one place.

Callagan Hoban - Older Brother - 27 years of age. Married with a three year old son named Lavaughan. Cal and his family live in Port Caynn. Cal also works as part of the family business. He runs runs a legitimate second hand shop, which allows the family to move stolen goods through Port Caynn.

Findlay Hoban - Older Brother - 25 years of age. Fin is an unmarried ladies man who lives in Port Legann. Rather immature, trickster who's speciality is playing jokes and tricks on people to make a fool out of them. Also, a part of the family business. Fin works as a thief and peddler, stationed in Port Legann. He travels to Port Caynn and Corus a lot.

Iviann Hoban - Older Sister - 22 years of age. Ivi is the bookeeper for the family. She keeps all of the papers, and documents and accounts. She lives alone along the coastal way, between Port Caynn and Port Legann. Ivi is pretty much the go to person for the family. She's the middle person and keeps regular contact with her whole family.

Appearance:

Hair: Her hair is quite long, reaching down past breast length. Brown - almost a burnt umber - in color. Her hair's tricky to maintain because it's so thick. She doesn't have the kind of hair that's shiny and pretty. It's just plain, and goes a little wavy after it's been wet, but otherwise it's generally straight. She either wears it down and parted in the center, or pulled up into a loose bun.

Eyes: Deep set gray-blue eyes that are ringed by medium length eye lashes. She has lines under her eyes and shadows that make her look perpetually tired. Only a little almond shaped, so they're quite large and open. Despite the tired look, her eyes are attention grabbers.

Face: She has a small face that's oval in shape, with a slightly squared jaw. Her brows are medium thickness and a shade darker than her hair. Her nose is long, her nostrils shaped into a small, natural flair. High cheek bones, that fill out her cheeks and kinda give the impression that her nose is narrower than what it really is. Her lips are fantastic. They're prominent and largish, though more full than long. The top lip shaped like a love heart without the sharp edges, the bottom lip softer still, fuller and arched outwards more. She has a really small, cute chin.

Height: She is a little one. Only 4'11 or 150 centimeters, in height

Body: Because she's small, she has small proportions. A long, thin graceful neck, with visible collar bones. She has feminine curves. A figure that curves inwards after her bust, then moves outwards at her hips. Her hips bones are visible above her breeches, however they're generally covered by her shirt. Her hips and buttocks are small, so her breeches don't usually sit well. Her arms and legs are medium length, with tiny wrists, hands, ankles and feet. She's about as strong as what she looks, but she's speedy, because she's small.

Coloring: She has quite pale skin, that's prone to burning and developing moles. There are several moles on her face, and her body. Most are small.

Other: She has a few scars from generally a rough childhood fighting with her brothers and sisters and later fighting bandits. She has a healed pink scar just above her left hip. It's around seven centimeters long. She earned it in a knife fight with a bandit. The only jewelery she wears is a pregnancy charm on a long chain. It looks decorative, rather than functional, but it is indeed functional. She likes jewelery, she just doesn't wear a lot of it, it tends to draw trouble.

Clothing: She mainly wears breeches with a long sleeved, close fitting shirt. She wears calf-length, black boots that are worn but of decent quality. Her clothing's usually in strong colors - though mainly black and various shades of red. When it's cold she pulls on a gray thigh length coat.

Personality:

She's been described as flighty, snarky, ill tempered, moody, unpredictable, daring, crazy, a sarcastic bitch, and difficult. And, she fits every one of those descriptions and more. Something is not quite right in her brain. She is incredibly unstable in her moods. I guess, in modern terms she'd have what's called bipolar disorder. She has periods of "normal" permeated by periods of intense, crazy emotions which can last from any where between two weeks and three months.

The majority of these are manic, which just means that she has periods of elevated and irritable moods. She also doesn't sleep a lot, and has twice as much energy as normal. For someone who has quite a lot of energy to begin with, it's a little difficult to handle. If not distracted, it usually means that she turns destructive. It's important for her to have something to do, something for her to work all of this extra energy off, or she'll just resort to breaking or damaging things. Even in this manic state, she can range from being severly anxious and irritable to euphoric and grandiose. It's really difficult to know and predict what kind of mood she's going to be in and how she's going to act.

She loves to engage in really risky behavior. Even when she's in a "normal" period, she's very goal oriented and directed. She is even more so when she's having a manic period. She gets these big, grand ideas that often involve recklessness and excessiveness. She also likes to be involved in high risk pleasurable activities. She loves adrenaline and excitement. She does things without thinking them through first, acting on impulse and whim.

In periods of "normal", she tends to have a really dry sense of humour, and is generally approachable and able to hold and maintain a conversation with just about anyone. Even in her normal state she can be incredibly uncoperative and belligerant. She's more likely to do the opposite of what people tell her to do, simply because she doesn't like or appreciate being told what to do or how to do it. She's not a leader and she's not a follower, though subconsciously, she's more comfortable with following than taking the lead. She tends to rebel against authority, but subconsciously she slips into following. It is not something that she's aware of, it is just a habit or an ingrained reaction, from her childhood.

She can love and she can trust, and she can make friends. But it's a lot of hard work for her friends and loved ones. They do the majority of the work to maintain the friendship/relationship. It's tough. Not because she can't emotionally invest in a friendship, or a relationship, but because she's so...chaotic. She can actually be sweet, loving and cute. It is just really hard when she's not.

History:

The daughter of Raydon and Galena Hoban. A pair of smugglers who have never spent a month in the one place. As a result, she moved around a lot as a child. She's literally traveled the world. The youngest sibling in a family of three other children, so she was kinda spoiled. It was a strange childhood. All of the Hoban children were schooled by their parents, and they were not allowed to have friends until they were old enough to be able to keep the family secrets, then it just became easier not to have friends. Ray and Galena treated interacted with their children like they were business transactions. It was an unusual family dynamic, but the siblings became really close, really quickly.

The children were increasingly given more responsibility in the family business as they got older. As they reached twenty years old they were settled into a place for the benefit of the family business. Cal settled in Port Caynn, and two years later Fin settled in Port Legann. Ivi was next to settle along the Coastal Way and a year later later Thea settled in Corus. Ray and Galena continued to travel. Cal, Fin, Ivi and Thea keep in regular contact with one another through letters and the occasional visit, but Ray and Galena are hard to track down.

Likes: Wine, red wine over white wine, thrill seeking, taking risks, excitement, adrenaline, being completely reckless, being impulsive, surprising people, not being "normal", her brothers and sister, traveling, being a rebel, chaos.
