There's a bunch of stars, and Mamoru starts to tell the story of the outer soldiers. Uranus says that they have stronger powers than those of the other soldiers. They were to keep the solar system free of invaders. Neptune says that when they reawoke, the enemy was already here. Pluto says that this will be the hardest fight, and even she will have to join the battle. [Title Screen] Everyone is at the shrine, listening to Mamoru's story. They start to understand a little about them, Artemis is really emotional about it. Mamoru warns them that it wouldn't be a good idea for them to fight together yet. In the Witches 4 office, Mimete and another witch are playing a version of Twister. Above her, there is a picture of Hayase Shun, a famous athlete. She thinks of him and knows she can do it. She's having trouble getting to the next move and keeps reassuring herself. The professor walks in and she falls down. He tells her that the next target is the famous athlete and he's made an appropriate daimon for him. He gives her the box, and she leaves. There's a second of silence, and then the professor starts playing too. The same magazine with Shun is in Hotaru's room. She's writing something and looking at the picture. She remembers when she saw him on TV, the announcer said he was a weak child, but now he's made himself into a great champion. She finishes writing, and Kaoli pops in. Hotaru gets mad and tells her to knock before going into her room. Kaoli leaves and does the Kaolinite laugh. She puts the letter in an envelope, but then Kaoli pops in again and sees who it's for, and asks if it's a love letter. Hotaru kicks her out again and she laughs again. Usagi gets home and sees someone's shoes. Chibiusa has Hotaru over they're talking. Usagi comes in, and scolds Chibiusa for not making tea for her guest. Chibiusa says that she's too young and that Usagi should make it. A big fight starts and they start pinching each other and yelling. Hotaru says she wishes she could have this, this house is full of love. Chibiusa and Usagi wonder what she's talking about. Usagi sees the letter and asks why she wrote it. Hotaru says it's nothing special, just to say that she admires him because he was weak like her and is now a champion. But she's decided not to send it because she doesn't know his address. Usagi has an idea, bring it to him in person. Chibiusa thinks it's a good idea and they ask Hotaru. At the stadium, Shun is warming up and Mimete is watching. She sees a sign that says entrance into the field is prohibited. She rips it down and blows her nose into it a couple times. Just then, an official comes out of a room down the hall and Mimete puts the sign back up. He gives her the OK sign and she does it back. Usagi runs up to the stadium and yells to them to hurry up. Chibiusa is embarrassed and wonders why Usagi always has to be like that. [Commercials] Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna are watching Shun warming up. Setsuna says that the Death Busters may have targeted him because he's famous. Chibiusa runs up to see them. Setsuna asks if they're alone, Chibiusa says no, and a whistle blows. Usagi runs out onto the field, dragging Hotaru behind her. Haruka is very surprised to see that Hotaru is with them. Usagi is running from the officials. Shun sees them and Mimete is mad. They won't let Hotaru give her letter to Shun, and Hotaru says it's all right, and she's happy seeing him on TV. Shun comes up to them and the officials go away. Hotaru is stunned and is frozen, Usagi reminds her about the letter. Chibiusa is in the stands cheering for Hotaru. Shun asks if she wants something, but she just stands there. She's about to give him the letter, but she doesn't, Usagi is confused and Chibiusa falls over. Mimete is still in the back, mad, because she followed the rules. She lets out the daimon, Undoukai, and she goes after the officials. Hotaru loses the letter and it gets burned up from the fire of Undoukai's running. The officials go back into their office and Undoukai traps them. Usagi keeps Hotaru outside and transforms. Undoukai is rolling Shun around and then sits on him, and tries to take his crystal. He resists, Mimete is waiting for the crystal, and Shun is still resisting. Sailor Moon appears and does the "punish you" and so does Chibimoon. Moon says that she doesn't need her here, but Chibimoon says Moon can't do it alone. Undoukai ties their legs together and they fall down. Shun is still trying to get away, but Mimete grabs him and tells him to be strong. Undoukai takes the crystal and Mimete are about to leave. Undoukai stops in front of Hotaru and asks if she's all right. Hotaru blasts her back onto the field with an energy blasts and Undoukai goes back into her shell. Haruka saw the power and the others say that she Hotaru's dangerous. Mimete asks what the daimon's doing, but she doesn't know and wants to stay in her shell. Just then, Chibimoon does a sideways Pink Sugar Heart Attack right in her shell. Sailor Moon transforms again, and finishes her off. Mimete gets mad and leaves. Shun stands over Hotaru as she wakes up. Hotaru is about to tell him how she's weak but he already knows. He tells her the story of how he was weak too, how when he was small, he dreamed of being a strong athlete. Hotaru knows how he feels, and Shun says she's the first person to listen to him with her heart. At her house, Hotaru is watching him in the next athletic competition, where he sets a record.
Hotaru and Chibiusa are playing cards (something like old maid with jokers), and Hotaru picks the joker. Chibiusa wins and Hotaru says that she really doesn't have much luck. Chibiusa reminds her that she's really good at another game and suggests playing that one, and she won't lose this time. [Title Screen] The professor has put a playing card in the daimon oven and closes it. "Finally the best daimon will be made!" He starts laughing weirdly and Mimete looks at her watch. It's almost break and they don't have any snacks. The professor heads off to the store, and Mimete gets a little idea. She throws all kinds of things in the oven and sets it. It starts at first, but then it starts shaking around. It explodes and makes the whole house shake, with Hotaru and Chibiusa wondering what's happening inside. The house looks normal after, and so does Hotaru's room. But then, it all starts to go fuzzy. Chibiusa looks out a window and there's an ocean below them, she goes to another window and sees the Serengeti, complete with animals. Chibiusa calls everyone, when Hotaru screams that there's a fish in her dresser drawer. Chibiusa wonders about the other stuff, and looks in Hotaru's desk. A lion comes out and goes after them, they run out of the room, only to find themselves in the Sahara at night. The door disappears and Hotaru feels weak, but Chibiusa tells her that the others will come and save them soon. The professor gets back from his trip and can't open his front door. He tries and tries but finally falls down when he hears voices behind him. Sailor Mercury says that the house has gone through a dynamic shock and is connected with another dimension. The professor turns around to see his enemies, and thinks that they've found him out. Then Sailor Moon does her little speech with a twist. "We're not here to hurt you, when you're in need, the Sailor Soldiers will come to the rescue! If you don't know us, I'll punish you!" Sailor Mars smacks her in the back of the head. A big fight ensues and the professor knows that he's just being paranoid. Mercury says that they have to hurry because the house will disappear into the other dimension in an hour. Chibiusa and Hotaru are inside walking through a jungle, complaining it's too hot, when the scenery changes into the Antarctic, complete with penguins, and they complain it's too cold. Sailor Moon tells Jupiter to go for it, but Mercury asks what she has planned. Moon tells her that Jupiter was going to hit the door with a Wide Pressure, and then if that didn't work Mars would use a Mandala to burn the door down. Mars asks what Moon's going to do, "I'm just going to watch!" The professor asks if they can really do it. Mars says it's all right because Sailor Moon's the only really dumb one here, which starts another fight. Mercury stops them, and tells Moon that a shock to the door would unbalance the space inside and trap everything and everyone in there. Mars got on Moon's case saying that she didn't listen. Moon asks how they'll get in, and Venus says to use the Sailor Teleport. They use the Sailor Teleport and go to an Alpine landscape, and Moon wonders if they went to the right place. The professor is still outside, with the cats, thinking that it's ironic to be helped by the Sailor Soldiers. Then he remembers that he has the food and he starts to chow down. The soldiers are at the bottom of a waterfall and Moon is complaining that all this can't be in Hotarus house. Mercury assures her they are and the scenery changes again to a nice little meadow. Outside, the professor is throwing whole bags of potato chips in his mouth, and the cats are worried because it's already been 20 minutes. Setsuna is outside when Haruka and Michiru come up. Setsuna tells them that everyone is inside a dimensional rift and they may not come back. Haruka says that it would be better if Hotaru didn't come back. Chibiusa and Hotaru are in a forest and Chibiusa's getting hungry. Hotaru asks if she's all right, and she says she's fine and runs up ahead. The scenery changes to a canyon and Chibiusa is standing right over the edge. She starts to fall and Hotaru grabs her. [Commercials] Hotaru is still trying to lift Chibiusa up when the soldiers come to the same space. Sailor Moon has a little trouble getting her footing right on the edge and then she sees Hotaru and Chibiusa on the other side. Hotaru loses her footing and they both fall when Venus throws down a Love Me Chain and grabs them both. Later, Mercury says it's impossible for them to use the teleport with two extra people. Hotaru hears this and says that she'll stay and to take Chibiusa. Sailor Moon says that she's Chibiusa's friend, and she'd be sad if she heard her say that. Jupiter says that Mercury would find a way out for them, and could take everyone back. Outside, the professor is chugging on a bottle of soda and Luna says there's only half an hour left. Inside, Mercury says that the next one should be the end. It is and half the group is standing over the edge of the stairs. They fall and Chibiusa says she wants to go home. They come up to the front door and they're not sure if it's the right way. Moon has a strange feeling and they go in. They go into a dark room and a woman welcomes them. She looks like the queen from playing cards, and Sailor Moon is scared for her life. The daimon, Uikasaman, takes off her disguise and it too weird to explain. Mercury discovers that all of the strange spaces in the house are made by her. Mars says that if they don't defeat her, they'll never get out. She starts a Burning Mandala, but the daimon says she doesn't like violence and loves gambling. They'll only get out if they beat her at gambling. The room lights up to a big casino and Jupiter goes first. She plays roulette and gets it right, but then the number changes and she gets trapped in a card. Mars is playing Jenga and she puts a stick at the top, but the daimon pulls a string and the tower falls over. Mercury is playing chess and she wins, but the space she lands on explodes and messes up the game. Moon and Venus go next, and go to play a racing video game. They start and the cars barely move, and then they crash into each other. Hotaru and Chibiusa say they'll go next. They go to play the old maid with jokers thing. Outside, the professor is sleeping on the front step, and Luna says there's only 10 minutes left. Meanwhile, Chibiusa has three cards left and she tricks the daimon into taking the joker. The daimon tries to trick Hotaru into taking it, but it doesn't work. The turns go around again, and Chibiusa wins. The soldiers tell her to release them now, because Chibiusa won, but the daimon says that she will only if Hotaru wins too. The daimon mixes her two cards around and puts them in front of her, so she doesn't know which is which either. The daimon has really put a mark on the joker and tries a little double-talk on Hotaru. The soldiers reassure her to go with which one she thinks is right and takes the right one, but then she faints. The soldiers tell her to release them, but she doesn't and says she doesn't care what they call her. Chibiusa transforms and uses a Pink Sugar Heart Attack, but it doesn't work at first. She could have sworn she charged it up and then it shoots right by her face and almost hits Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon is free and she transforms again and uses the Rainbow Moon Heart Ache. The soldiers are freed and they go outside to the professor. He thanks them, and thinks to himself that they might regret saving her. Setsuna asks if she sad about her coming back. Michiru tells her that Haruka has more faith in Sailor Moon than both of them. Haruka says she must be joking. Chibiusa thinks to herself that she and Hotaru are a good combination.
Rei is having the dream about the silence again. This time she sees a woman at the top of a rock, holding a staff. A tarot card of death and a face appears and the woman jumps off and uses her staff. Rei wakes up and Usagi is asking Ami a question. Rei wonders who the girl is. She gets a clear picture and it looks like a certain someone. [Title Screen] Chibiusa walks in and asks if Usagi's there. Usagi yells at her and says she's not supposed to be here. Chibiusa says that she really needs something from her big sister Usagi, which shocks Usagi. Chibiusa wants to go the new planetarium. Minako sees the narrator, who's a famous DJ. Usagi tells Chibiusa that they'll all go tomorrow. Rei is still having the vision and sees the girl and realizes who it is, but then thinks it can't be. Chibiusa pops up and says that it would be better if someone paid for two admissions. Usagi says she's not going to, but Minako says that it's a mother's responsibility. Chibiusa comes up to Usagi and starts hugging her and begging her. Rei is sitting there, silent, wondering about her dream. In the city, Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna are talking about the dream too. Michiru says that she sees a woman with a long staff in the dream, the Silence Glaive. They know that this only means one thing, the Messiah of Silence comes from the planet of destruction. Now they know they have to find the soldier of destruction and destroy her. The Messiah of Silence is talking about how soon the silence is coming. The professor says that it was perfect to make her the Messiah of Silence. The Messiah says that their success depends on her now. If they want to succeed quicker, get more pure hearts. She picks up a teddy bear and rips it up and throws it at the professor. In the Witches 4 office, Mimete is watching the Countdown 50 with the DJ from the planetarium, and she knows that he's the next target. The phone rings and it's the professor. She asks if he likes stars and he must say yes because she gets happy about it. The professor wishes her luck and remembers an old saying about stars. "The stars know everything." (Neflite's catch phrase) He starts to laugh hysterically. Hotaru is walking home from school and a girl comes up from behind her and yells Tomomi. Hotaru thinks she says Tomoe and turns around, only to see the girl run past her. Chibiusa sees her and asks her if she wants to go to the planetarium with her. Hotaru gets worried about what her father will say. Chibiusa says that it'll start without her if she does that. Usagi comes up and says that sometimes it's all right to get sidetracked. Chibiusa says that she'll apologize to her father if there's anything wrong. At the planetarium, the DJ, Thomas Harris, is explaining the story of Princess Andromeda. Mimete is absolutely dazed by him. Michiru finds Mimete and says that Thomas is probably the next target. Then she wonders why the girls are here with Hotaru. Haruka says that this might be the best chance to find out who Hotaru really is. [Commercials] Everyone is watching the show when Usagi sees Setsuna in the back. She nods for her to come and see her. Setsuna says that she cannot continue without telling them the whole truth. She tells them that the enemies are the Death Busters and they want the silence to come. Ami asks what the silence is and Setsuna responds, the end of the world. She asks Rei if she's seen something. Rei knows what she's talking about and tells the girls of her dream. She tells the girls to focus on her Garnet Orb and they'll see the same dream Rei did. They all see it and say it can't be happening. Setsuna says that if they don't destroy the Messiah of Silence, this will come true. She explains that the Messiah of Silence is the woman who will ensure everyone's death. There are some screams inside and a daimon is loose. A really annoying daimon called U Chouten tells everyone to wish upon a star and then starts firing at them. Thomas tells everyone to get out and U Chouten goes after him. Mimete says she's done a good job, and U Chouten says that she knows she's great. Mimete says she'll take care of the audience and that U Chouten should get the heart crystal. Mimete asks Thomas for his autograph first and he throws a chair at her. Mimete does a Charm Buster to get rid of the audience. Hotaru starts to have another seizure. Chibiusa goes to get help but Uranus comes up and tells her to stay put. The Sailor Team appears and introduces themselves. The other outers are in the back waiting. Mimete tells U Chouten to go after the soldiers and get the pure heart after. U Chouten starts firing at them and they duck. Tuxedo Mask comes and throws a rose in her hat, and she fires at him. Hotaru stands up and tries to breathe, when she's hit by a star. The sign of Saturn glows on her head and everyone knows what's happening. Hotaru gives U Chouten a weird look and freezes U Chouten. Sailor Moon transforms again and finishes her off. World Shaking! Deep Submerge! Dead Scream! The outers fire at Hotaru and Chibiusa gets in front of her and Sailor Moon pushes them all out of the way. Uranus gets mad at them because Hotaru is Sailor Saturn, and when she awakens, it will be the end of the world. Sailor Moon tells her that they can't kill her, but Sailor Pluto says there is no other way to save the world. Then, Hotaru disappears and reappears at her home. Kaoli says that it's not good to get sidetracked. The professor is talking to someone called Pharoh 90. He knows that Hotaru is Sailor Saturn from the planet of destruction and there couldn't be anyone better to be the Messiah of Silence. Inside the little universe on his table is a galaxy, which is Pharoh 90.
Chibiusa is running in the rain, she remembers what the outers said about Hotaru and Sailor Saturn. She goes into Hotaru's house and there is nothing and no one there. She starts to cry and Setsuna comes up to her. She accuses Setsuna of taking Hotaru and says that she hates her. In Mamoru's apartment, Luna and Artemis tell everyone that Hotaru's house is empty, and there is no sign of anyone ever being there. Mamoru is checking the internet for Professor Tomoe's file. He finds it and finds out that he is a professor at Infinity Academy. Luna knows that that's Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru's school. The other know about it too, it's a place where only gifted and talented people go, from nursery school to college. Mamoru also finds that the professor is also the owner of the school. Ami says that they should go there and check things out. Setsuna and Chibiusa walk in, Chibiusa is soaked and sad. Usagi goes over to dry her off but Mamoru keeps her away. He's interested in the Academy and wants to ask Setsuna some questions. She says that strange things happen there all the time, and that's why Haruka and Michiru enrolled. She tells them that Professor Tomoe is associated with the Death Busters, but she doesn't know about Hotaru, all she knows is that she's Sailor Saturn. Chibiusa says that Hotaru isn't their enemy and she shouldn't be killed. Usagi says that even though she's the soldier of destruction, she's still a sailor soldier. Setsuna says that this is why she didn't want them involved in their mission. The phone rings and Professor Tomoe answers it, it's Mimete. She's found a new target, a doctor who's giving a lecture at the Academy about an alternate universe. The professor has other plans and says he'll call her back when he makes a decision. Mimete hangs up and turns on a microphone under the professor's desk. The professor starts to talk to another witch, Tellu. He tells her that Mimete tries hard, but can't seem to succeed. So he gives the job to Tellu. The phone rings and Tellu answers it, it's Mimete disguised as the professor. He tells her that he's changed his mind and to cancel his last orders. Mimete hangs up and says that if she kills the sailor soldiers this time, she'll definitely change the professor's mind about her, and she has to borrow Eudial's machine. The girls arrive at the academy, where campus is open to the public for the lecture. Mamoru is back at the apartment where he finds an old newspaper article. The professor and his daughter had survived a horrible fire. He looks over at Chibiusa for a minute and remembers what she said. Inside the building, the girls are sneaking around. Ami suggest going to the computer room to look for clues. Suddenly, someone starts tapping Minako on the back. "What Mako-chan?" The person does it again, and Mako says it's not her. The girls turn around to see a huge security guard with a really deep voice. He asks what they're doing, Mako says they're lost and they're looking for the lecture hall. He points out the direction and they head that way. He stops them and Rei gets really scared, "You forgot something". Usagi is still standing there, "I hurt my back". They leave and Mimete walks by them. The guard says to stop and he wants to see what's in her bag. She opens it and electrocutes him, she doesn't have any time to waste, as Tellu watches her from behind a corner. [Commercials] In the lecture hall, the doctor is giving his lecture, and it's being broadcasted all over the school. The girls have split up and are snooping around the school. In the security room, Haruka and Michiru are searching for clues. Setsuna comes in and scares them, and she tells them that the girls are here, investigating. The professor is watching the lecture, laughing. He knows there's another universe, with Pharoh 90 in it. Hotaru is sleeping in the Messiah of Silence's chair, and she has a dream. She's leaning over a glass to see a DNA machine. Something goes wrong inside it and it explodes and she dies. Her father begs for her to come back when a black things comes and asks if he wants his daughter back. The professor says he'll do anything to get her back, and the black thing says it will have to take their bodies. And that's how the professor became evil. At the lecture, the lights go out, and Mimete appears from a trap door. She feels wonderful under the spotlight and says she'll never give up this feeling to Tellu. She does a Charm Buster and then lets the daimon out, Upasocon (Upersonal computer). She takes his heart crystal and the girls hear him scream. The Sailors appear and they each do a piece of the "punish you" and Sailor Moon gets a little confused. Mimete sends Upasocon after them and she attacks with some mice. Mars does a Burning Mandala and Jupiter does a Wide Pressure from point blank range at the daimon. Mercury scans for more mice and she finds some, and a Love Me Chain comes and gets rid of them. Upasocon throws some floppy discs at Jupiter and Mars and they're hit bad. Mimete does a Charm Buster at Venus and Mercury. Upasocon throws more floppies at Jupiter and Mars as Mimete brings out the machine. Just then, Tuxedo Mask and Chibimoon come in and Chibimoon does a Pink Sugar Heart Attack at the daimon and Tux calls for Sailor Moon. She transforms again with Crisis, make up!! and defeats the daimon. Mimete is cornered, but she still has the machine and she uses it. Witches Electric Warp!! She disappears into the machine and reappears onto the wall of TVs for the lecture. Her picture isn't the only thing that's bigger, her power is too. Then, there's a laughter from backstage. It's Tellu, she says it's not nice to take other people's jobs, and she reminds Mimete why Eudial never used her machine. If someone unplugs it while you're in it, you'll be trapped in it forever. Mimete pleads for forgiveness and says she's sorry, but Tellu simply says, "Goodbye, fool" and unplugs it. Sailor Moon stares in shock as Tellu disappears. Sailor Moon powers down as the outers watch in the back.
There's a review of the last episode. The outers are in the back commenting on how cruel and heartless the enemies are. The others see them leave. [Title Screen] The outers are walking away, and Sailor Moon tells them to wait. They know that they're going after Hotaru again. The Sailor Team tries to convince them to stop, but they have other plans. Uranus says that they're looking for different worlds. The Messiah of Silence is still waiting for pure hearts, and the professor assures her to wait a little while longer. The Messiah says she needs many pure hearts to awaken, and that she can't wait much longer. In the Witches 4 office (which has been changed to Witches 3), Tellu is working at her desk when the phone rings. It's the professor and he's been reading through her report, and he's impressed with her idea to collect heart crystals with plants. He's considered changing it anyway because the daimons weren't working all that much. She says that the professor can count on her, and the room she's in lights up, showing thousands of flowers. "Everything is ready to go." Just then, Kaoli comes down to give the professor some coffee. He says that his shoulder has been bothering him lately, and Kaoli offers to massage it for him. She figures this is the least she can do because he brought her back from the dead. The professor says that it's a shame that she's wasting her talent as a secretary, he wishes to see the old her. He gets up to leave, and says, "You're the only one I can depend on, Kaolinite." This makes Kaoli a little emotional, but that doesn't last long and she transforms into Kaolinite (with the cool black dress from the manga). At a store, Tellu is selling her flowers, Telluns. She says they never need water or light. She offers them for 10 yen a piece (that's cheap, trust me) and people are shoving in to buy them. Setsuna walks by and is curious about the flowers, so she buys one. At a greenhouse, the Tellun starts to glow, and kills all the other plants in the room. Chibiusa is running through town and Usagi and the cats are trying to catch up, and they can't. Luna asks Usagi if she's worried about Chibiusa. Usagi says that she was just going for a walk, why should she chase her. Artemis says that he doubts she's just on a walk, Usagi agrees. Luna says they're really alike. This starts a fight and Artemis yells, and Luna and Usagi wonder what's wrong. He realized that Chibiusa was running toward Infinity Academy. She's going to start her investigation just as Usagi catches her. Usagi tells her it's too dangerous for her in there, but Chibiusa knows that Hotaru is in there, and she was taken by someone. Usagi says that she should rely on her friends, they'll save her. Hotaru wakes up in the Messiah's chair and wonders what she's doing there. She goes out and goes looking for Chibiusa. Setsuna is studying the Tellun with her computer, which tells her that it absorbs humidity in the air for food and energy. Just then, the flower starts to glow and breaks the glass case surrounding it. The flower opens and it releases red energy that goes after Setsuna. There's a flash of pink light and the Garnet Orb is floating, it protected her. Hotaru is walking downtown. She walks by the flower shop and Tellu asks if Hotaru wants a flower called the good fortune flower. It's the last one so she gives it to her for free. Hotaru is happy and thinks that the flower is just like Chibiusa, bringing good fortune and goes to bring it to her. [Commercials] Hotaru rings the doorbell and Chibiusa answers. Usagi sees Hotaru and tells Chibiusa to let her in, but Chibiusa shuts the door in her face. Hotaru gives Chibiusa the flower. Hotaru doesn't think it's anything like her because she hurts her friends without knowing it. Then, she falls down and says that she wants Chibiusa's pure heart crystal. Suddenly, Kaolinite appears and takes Hotaru away. Usagi is confused because she thought that Kaolinite was dead. Artemis reminds her that they never did find the body. Chibiusa is sad that she couldn't help Hotaru. Setsuna comes and talks to the girls for a while, but sees the flower. She knocks it away from Chibiusa, angering her, and the flower kills all the grass it lands on. Setsuna explains that just a bud did this damage, when it blooms, it takes pure hearts. She says that they should cut off the source of the flowers, and Chibiusa tells them that this is her chance to prove Hotaru has nothing to do with all this. They go in the back of the store. Tellu shuts all the doors and takes the heart crystals of all the people in the store and puts them in a star on her hand. The girls see this and transform. Moon Cosmic Power, make up!! (Which is a little different) Pluto Planet Power, make up!! Moon Prism Power, make up!! Sailor Moon comes just as Tellu takes the last of the crystals and does her "punish you". Tellu is impressed that they found her that quickly. Some Tellun's go after them, but they get out of the way, but there's no escape, because the store is full of them. Chibimoon tries to blast them, but it doesn't work. Tellu lets some vines out of her arm and aims at Chibimoon. She hits the vines and Tellu fires again, hitting Pluto. The vines start to take her energy when the red rose comes and breaks the vines. Tuxedo Mask tells Sailor Moon to purify the flowers. She transforms again and blasts all the flowers in the store except for one. Tellu gets the last one and puts some stuff in it and it gets huge. The Hyper-Tellun is attracted to pure hearts and takes them as it destroys you and itself. Tellu is about to leave and take the star with her, when Tux throws a rose at the star and breaks it. All the heart crystals come out and the Hyper-Tellun goes after Tellu. It traps her as Tellu shoots vines at it. It doesn't work as the Hyper-Tellun and Tellu are destroyed. Sailor Moon finds a notebook on the floor from Infinity High, Tellu was a student at Infinity, Teruno Lulu. Sailor Pluto wakes up, and Chibimoon tells Pluto that Hotaru isn't involved in this and that she believes in her.
The girls are at the shrine wondering about Tellu's notebook being from Infinity High. Suddenly, Usagi comes running in and says that Ami's great. She's gotten first place in the latest practice exams. Ami says she wasn't the only highest scorer. A girl from Infinity named Vido Yui also got first place. The next exam is at Infinity, so they can pretend to be taking the exam and sneak in. Ami tells them that she's already signed up for the exam and they don't need to sneak in. [Title Screen] At the Infinity building, many people are lined up outside in the snow. Usagi says they must be study-a-holics, Rei says they're nothing like Usagi. Upstairs, the professor and Kaolinite are watching the crowd. They see the soldiers and say, "Not everyone here is a smart person." Just then, a witch called Viluy walks in. She's already started her project and she's ready to start. She can collect a large number of pure hearts by using computers. Viluy's about to leave when she tells Kaolinite to stop fooling around and collect some crystals too. Chibiusa is running downtown when she sees Mamoru in his car. She doesn't talk to him and keeps going. He drives off and sees Setsuna in his mirror. Chibiusa is standing outside Hotaru's house and remembers how she was taken. She wonders where she went. Inside the Infinity building, the girls are talking. Usagi's happy that they sneaked in. Everyone comments on how serious everyone looks. Ami says that they're just serious about studying for their dreams. Just then, Viluy (disguised) comes up and talks to Ami. It's Vido Yui and she says that she's heard of Ami and has always wanted to meet her. Usagi pops up and says that Ami's really smart. Yui asks who Usagi is and Usagi says she's not smart enough to do a practice exam. Yui says that she must be intelligent to be friends with Ami. "What are your best subjects?" Usagi says afternoon nap and lunch. Yui, "Oh, a good sense of humor." Then Yui says that she has something to show Ami and drags her off. Outside it's a blizzard and Haruka and Michiru are inside saying that they feel something is about to happen. In a dark room, Yui is showing Ami the mini-universe that the science club made. Yui says that Infinity High is a place where the talented go, and Ami would be perfect for it. She also says that the smarter students help the teachers teach. Ami says that just because someone is smart, it doesn't make them a good leader. A good leader is someone who can understand the hearts of those that are poor in academics. Yui tells her that in science, there is no need for understanding, just logic. Just then, the bell rings that starts the exams and Yui leaves. Ami is still looking at the universe while the professor watches her through a security camera. Viluy walks in and says that Ami may be a sailor soldier. She says that she'll find out who Ami really is. Kaolinite wants to do it, but Viluy just shoves her out of the way. Viluy explains to the professor that she's programmed her nano robots into every computer in the school, and can control them with the computer chip on her wrist. Viluy is about to leave again, when she asks Kaolinite a question. "Why did you come back? Did you just want to play around with the professor a little more?" This gets Kaolinite very mad. Viluy is in a room and she activates her nano robots. The people are taking the exams when suddenly their heart crystals are taken into the computers. Usagi and Minako are watching, and they say that they have to find out who's controlling the computers. [Commercials] Haruka and Michiru are running down a hall and go into an underground lab. They open the door and see someone sitting on a chair. It's Hotaru in the Messiah of Silence's chair. They go to kill her, but Ami comes in and stops them. Ami explains that the Death Busters have been taking advantage of her and that she doesn't have anything to do with it. Ami goes over to protect her when Yui walks in. She says that they're not supposed to be here and turns into Viluy. She sends her Mosaic Buster at Haruka and Michiru and they start to be electrocuted. She fires at Ami this time and breaks a balloon near the Messiah. She starts to wake up, but doesn't. Mercury Star Power, make up!! Viluy says she knew she was a soldier the whole time. She fires another Mosaic buster at Mercury and Mercury does a Shine Aqua Illusion and freezes them. Viluy says it's no use and the pieces break out of the ice and attack Mercury. Viluy explains that these are her invisible nano robots, they'll stab into her body and leave just her pure heart behind. Just then, the others come in and Moon does the "punish you." Viluy does another Mosaic Buster, but they dodge it. Haruka and Michiru get up and transform. World Shaking! Deep Submerge! Two direct hits right at Viluy. Sailor Moon transforms again and says that the thing that's bad is the microchip on her arm. She does a Rainbow Moon Heart Ache and cracks it. Viluy tries to do another Mosaic Buster, but the nano robots are confused and they attack Viluy instead. Mercury says that Viluy's the one that said you don't need a heart for science. All the heart crystals go back into their owners. The professor says that Viluy has failed. Kaolinite thinks to herself that now she won't need to make a special plan to get rid of her. But now, the professor knows who all of the sailor soldiers really are. Viluy disappears and leaves the microchip. Mercury picks it up and says, "This is the result when someone believes only in logical science." Then, the microchip disappears. Just then, the room starts to rumble and Hotaru's chair floats up. The professor's voice comes up and says that the battle is just beginning. Then Hotaru disappears. Chibiusa is still outside Hotaru's house, when Mamoru and Setsuna come up and tell her she should come back. Outside on the harbor, Haruka and Michiru say that Ami's kindness allowed the Messiah of Silence escape. But her kindness also saved their lives, this time, they'll thank her.
The main building to the Infinity Academy stood in the night like a black tower. Students of the Infinity Academy marched toward this tower, as Cyprine's ghostly voice echoed into the night: "Gather, all of you. Come to the Academy. Come to me." Back at home, as Usagi was washing her hair, Chibiusa sat in the bathtub, worried about Hotaru. Usagi noticed Chibiusa's worried look. As Usagi walked over to the bathtub thinking to say something to make her feel better, she accidentally stepped on a bar of soap and fell into the bathtub, completely soaking Chibiusa. Usagi apologized, but Chibiusa still decided to get even by pushing Usagi into the water. The two then got into a water fight. Later, they walked up the stairs back to their rooms. Just before Usagi entered her room, Chibiusa told Usagi that she would be all right, so Usagi shouldn't be worried about her. Chibiusa then said good-night and went into her room. Luna and Artemis stood just behind the door to Usagi's room as it swung open slowly. They told Usagi that the students of the Infinity Academy were all gathering at the campus building. Usagi decided not to let Chibiusa know, and left the house by herself to go to the campus tower. On the throne of the Messiah of Silence, the Messiah breathed heavily and uneasily. Professor Tomoe and Cyprine watched. Cyprine promised that as the greatest of the Witches Five, she will do her best for the professor and collect heart crystals for the Messiah. Kaolinite appeared in the shadows near the ceiling of the room, watching in silence. Cyprine then promised that unlike Kaolinite, she will not disappoint him. Kaolinite was furious. She decided that the only way to redeem herself was to find the purest heart crystal for the Messiah of Silence. She chose Chibiusa as her target. Back at the Tsukino household, Chibiusa had a nightmare about Hotaru and woke up. Students of the Infinity Academy continued to march into the campus tower. A large group walked into a circular hall. Their heart crystals appeared and flew from their owners. The group of students fell. As Usagi and the other four watched in shock, Cyprine trapped the five in a barrier and transported them to the floor above. She then told the rest of the students to offer their crystals and left. Haruka and Michiru stood at the entrance of the hall and watched. Usagi and the others found themselves in a large, well furnished office with a large desk in front of a wall of windows. Behind the desk, the chair turned around, and in the chair sat Cyprine. "Welcome to our Infinity Academy, Sailor Soldier ladies." "I guess there's no point in hiding who we are anymore," Makoto replied. The five transformed. Sailor Mars launched Burning Mandaras at Cyprine. They shattered the windows behind Cyprine, but Cyprine disappeared. Suddenly, a blue and a red energy ball appeared and hit Sailor Mars. Mars dodged the next energy ball, but immediately one more appeared and hit her in the back. As the other four ran toward Mars, Cyprine appeared behind them, laughing. Venus turned around and caught her with the Chain. A red energy ball appeared out of nowhere and hit Venus. Ptilol, Cyprine's twin, appeared. Jupiter launched a Sparkling Wide Pressure at them, but was reflected by the two's combined power, and Jupiter was struck by her own attack. Chibiusa stood outside the mansion where Hotaru once lived. She transformed into Chibimoon and carefully sneaked into the mansion. Kaolinite watched from a second floor window, and she was content that her chosen target happened to be a Sailor Soldier as well. Chibiusa went up to Hotaru's room on the second floor. Kaolinite appeared out of the shadow and tried to take Chibimoon. Tuxedo Mask appeared in the same room and stopped her with his rose. Kaolinite cast a force field around her, throwing Chibimoon out through the window. She fell into the garden. Kaolinite appeared in front of Chibimoon as she was tryng to get up. Sailor Pluto appeared and cast Dead Scream at Kaolinite. Kaolinite cast a red smoke screen and disappeared with Chibimoon. Back in the campus building, the five Sailor Soldiers struggled against the combined power of Cyprine and Ptilol. Mercury's Shine Aqua Illusion was also reflected back at herself. The five decided that the only way they could win was to rely on their teamwork to break up the two Witches. Mercury cast her Bubble Spray and filled the room with mist to cover the other four.
"Venus Love Me Chain!"
Cyprine and Ptilol still easily absorbed the combined attacks with their staves, but then Jupiter appeared from behind Cyprine and tackled her down to the floor. Jupiter jumped up and ran away. Cyprine was angered and chased after Jupiter. Ptilol tried to stop her, but Mars suddenly appeared from high above her and struck her very hard from behind. Ptilol chased after Mars. In the chase, Jupiter leaped to avoid Cyprine's attack, while at the same time, Ptilol jumped to attacke Mars from high above. As both Cyprine and Ptilol aimed their attacks at their targets, Venus suddenly appeared and pushed Jupiter away from Cyprine's line of fire, and Mars evaded away from Ptilol's attack. Cyprine and Ptilol suddenly found themselves firing their weapons at each other, and they were destroyed. After the twins died, a dimensional distortion appeared. Within the dimensional hole, a dark passage could be seen beyond. After Mercury did some quick observations with her visor, the five decided to enter the dark passage. Meanwhile, Uranus and Neptune were walking through a dimly lit passage. The sound of tiny bells echoed through the darkness, and the two saw Professor Tomoe standing before an altar in front of the Dark Messiah's throne. Tomoe greeted the two visitors: "You are just in time for the ceremony." A beam of light shone on Tomoe and the altar, and lying unconscious on the altar was Chibimoon. Uranus immediately dashed forward for her, but was stopped and deflected back by an invisible barrier. At the same time, the other five Soldiers arrived at the scene, and they were stunned to see Chibimoon in the enemy's hands. Tomoe called Kaolinite, and she appeared. The ceremony to revive the Messiah of Silence was about to begin. Sailormoon tried to stop them, but was also stopped by the barrier. The Dark Messiah opened her eyes, and an arm of light extended out of her, reaching for Chibimoon. The arm snatched Chibimoon's heart crystal through her chest and Chibimoon woke up in pain. She looked and saw Hotaru on the throne. Chibimoon was relieved to see that Hotaru was all right, and then fell unconscious again as her heart crystal was pulled out by the arm. After the crystal was taken, Chibimoon lost her transformation, and the crystal slowly floated toward the Messiah of Silence. The Messiah of Silence was about to swallow the crystal. "Don't! If you really are Hotaru's father...if you really love Hotaru, you have to stop this!" Usagi hoped that a trace of feeling would still be left in the mad professor. "Love? What do you mean?" The professor in the shadow replied with a cold voice. After swallowing the heart crystal, Hotaru's body rapidly changed into an adult's body with very long hair trailing behind her. Uranus and Neptune were surprised to find that Hotaru did not become Sailor Saturn as they had feared, but had become one of the Death Busters. The new evil declared her name as "Mistress Nine". Professor Tomoe told Kaolinite that she had done well. Kaolinite was grateful, but at the same time, a bolt of energy from Mistress Nine struck her and she died. Mistress Nine and Professor Tomoe left the hall to begin the next stage of their plan, and the place started to collapse. The 7 Soldiers took Chibimoon and escaped from the Infinity Academy campus building. Outside the building, Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Pluto were waiting for them. "Small Lady!" Pluto could not contain her anxiety when she saw what had happened to Chibiusa. At Mamoru's house, Mamoru linked his own lifeforce with Chibiusa's body to keep her alive. Usagi sat beside them, watching. She was both sad and worried. In the same room, the other 4 Soldiers also sat around the table in silence and worry. Setsuna entered the living room, and calmly said that she will be returning to the Infinity Academy building with Uranus and Neptune to destroy the enemy, because that is the only way to save Small Lady. After Setsuna left, Usagi and the other four were also determined to return to the school building to save Hotaru. As the morning sun rose, the five walked towards the Infinity Academy building with the determination to fight for what they believed for, and not allowing anyone else be hurt in this war.
Somewhere deep within what remained of the Infinity Academy building, darkness dominated a large volume of space. Mistress Nine and Professor Tomoe stood in front of a complex array of machines. Behind this low wall of machines, a transparent dome containing small galaxies and nebulas could be seen. A glass cylinder stood amongst the complex devices. "It is all ready now," Tomoe spoke softly to the Messiah of Darkness beside him. "Now we need only to put the chalice into this device with your hand, then the light of darkness will illuminate the Tau star system. That illumination is needed to show the way to our great Master, Pharaoh Ninety. And when Pharaoh Ninety appears in this space, all will be destroyed, and the Earth will fall into Silence. The era ruled by the light of lies will end, and the era for the darkness of truth will begin." Standing near the base of the enemy, Usagi and her four trusted friends looked at the remains of the Infinity Academy tower. With a strong sense of determination, the five transformed into Sailor Soldiers. A lone helicopter flew towards the Infinity Academy. In the helicopter were Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. "We have no time. We have to destroy the Messiah of Silence before she fully revives," Uranus said to Neptune while piloting the flying machine. "In the end, there is no Messiah for us. We'll have to save this world with our hands, no matter what sacrifices we have to make." Pluto, in the back seat, sat in silence thinking about Usagi's words that she will not let anyone be sacrificed. As Sailormoon and the other four Soldiers dashed towards the building, Mistress Nine sensed their arrival. "The chalice is coming near." "The chalice?" Tomoe was surprised. "It is coming to us on its own, without us looking for it." "That is very convenient for us." "But we cannot allow other intruders to enter until I have fully revived." The Messiah of Silence closed her eyes and used her powers of darkness. As the five Soldiers were running, Mars sensed the Dark Messiah's power. "What's wrong?" The other four looked at Mars. "I just felt this presence...faint, but disturbing." A dome-shaped barrier formed around the remainder of the school tower, leaving an opening on the top in the shape of a star. From deep inside the building, thousands of Daimon eggs began pouring out. With no vessels, the eggs burst, becoming a thick red liquid flowing out onto the floor from the broken shells. Thousands of humanoid monsters rose from the liquid. "Incredible levels of dark energy," Mercury said as she examined the barrier with her visor and pocket computer. "The only way to get through is to teleport." As they were going to set up for the teleport, Mercury's visor beeped rapidly, warning of imminent danger. The five looked at the building, and saw the red liquid slowly flowing out of every opening in the building. Hundreds of human-shaped Daimons rose from the liquid and flew, drawing long, red arcs across the sky. "Here they come!" Mercury warned. Daimons fell like rain and splashed on the ground, but quickly rose and re-formed. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus used their power attacks to destroy the enemies, but the sheer number of enemies made it feel like there was no end to them. "Moon Spiral Heart Attack!" Sailormoon used her attack and wiped out all the Daimons in the area. But a another wave of Daimons immediately flew out of the building and landed in front of them. The five had no time to set up for the teleport. "Wonderful!" Tomoe praised Mistress Nine's power of darkness. "Infinity Academy is now protected by the energy of darkness, and has become the Omega Zone. No intruder will ever be able to enter. Now is the time to reach for the chalice." Mistress Nine extended her right arm, which started to glow with a dark light. Where her fingertips extended, dimensional ripples appeared, and the hand reached through the dimensional rift like a hand submerging into water. As the five Soldiers struggled, Sailormoon once again destroyed all the Daimons in the area with her Moon Spiral Heart Attack. As they hurried to set up for the teleport, a dimensional distortion suddenly appeared behind Sailormoon, and Mistress Nine's hand gripped around Sailormoon's neck just as she turned to see the arm. The arm tried to pull Sailormoon through the portal. The other four immediately ran forward and clung onto Sailormoon to stop her from being dragged in by the arm, but a new wave of Daimons immediately attacked them. The four Soldiers lost their grip, falling back, and Sailormoon disappeared through the dimensional hole. All the Daimons suddenly retreated and fused themselves with the barrier around the Tower. "I can't believe this is happening..." Mars said while looking at the barrier with all the Daimons on it. "Without Sailormoon, we can't teleport..." Mercury said with a somewhat despairing voice. "What should we do then?" Jupiter asked. As the helicopter came near the school tower, Uranus saw the barrier around the tower. "What is that?" "It doesn't look like a typical barrier," Neptune observed. "Maybe we can enter from the opening." Uranus saw the star-shaped opening on top of the barrier. But as the helicopter came closer to the tower, the thousands of Daimons on the barrier sensed the intruders. Hundreds of them immediately flew towards the helicopter and attacked. The helicopter, engulfed by Daimons, lost control and exploded. Uranus and Neptune found themselves in the middle of a frozen explosion. All the shattering, smoke, and flame remained perfectly still. They looked around and saw Pluto suspended in mid-air outside the helicopter, with light radiating from the Garnet Rod. "Pluto?" Neptune's voice echoed in the frozen time field. "What have you done?" Uranus asked. "I have stopped time. You must take this opportunity and escape now", Pluto urged the two. "I never knew you had this kind of power!" "No. As the Guardian of Time this is the most forbidden act for me." "The most forbidden...?" Uranus tried to understand the meaning behind those words. "What's going to happen to you?" Neptune asked. "If you ever find the true Messiah..." Not answering Uranus' question, Pluto looked at them with warmth in her eyes, and spoke softly. "The true Messiah...?" Neptune asked. Uranus and Neptune were teleported inside the barrier, and the helicopter exploded. "They stopped time and teleported in. The Outer Planet Soldiers certainly are different." Inside the building, Mistress Nine was mildly impressed. "Nonetheless, your power is truly great, Messiah of Silence." Tomoe praised Mistress Nine's incredible power. "That is because of the pure heart from that sacrifice by the one called Chibiusa." Mistress Nine replied. "That pure heart...don't you use it for evil things..." The words came out of Mistress Nine's mouth with a weak and shaky voice. She then quickly sat up straight with a tense expression on her face. "What is the matter?" Tomoe looked asked casually, in a light tone of voice. "Nothing!" Mistress Nine replied in frustration. She seemed tired and uncomfortable, and covered part of her face with her hand. Mistress Nine then transformed into the appearance of the original Hotaru and hovered off the throne. "I will now go and recover the chalice, while you go and eliminate the two intruding Sailor Soldiers." "I will?" "Just use the puppets you created. Now, go! Daimon Germatos" "Yes." The barrier around the school building started to expand outwards. Mercury made more analyses on it with her computer. "The energy level of the barrier is rising steadily." "I can't believe we can't even get in!" Jupiter said. "Sailormoon..." Venus said with a worried voice. "The only thing the four of us can do, is try to stop that barrier from expanding any more." Mercury concluded. "Have faith in Sailormoon, and we'll do what we can." Mars said. >From 4 major roads around the enemy base, the Sailor Soldiers kneeled and set up their own perimeter barrier to stop the barrier around the Infinity Academy building from expanding. Sailormoon woke up and found herself enveloped by darkness. Mistress Nine's hand strangled her while pulling her through the rift, and that caused her to cough a couple of times after she woke up. She looked around and saw Hotaru lying unconscious, not far away. As Uranus and Neptune ran along a dim corridor, they saw what appeared to be deflated body suits hanging along both the walls on each side. "What are these?" Uranus exclaimed, looking at the suits around them. Then they saw Prof. Tomoe standing in the middle of the corridor. "These, are the vessels I created." "You two should know it's against school regulations to come into this area," Tomoe said with the voice of a teacher. "It was your very own words which said 'everyone should persist with their own sense of justice', Mr. Principle." Uranus replied. "It's such a pity," a distorted grin appeared on Tomoe's face. "We really wanted excellent students like you two to become vessels, like this man here by the name of Tomoe Soichi!" The professor began to laugh maniacally. A large, red shadow emerged out of Tomoe's body and turned into a Daimon. Tomoe fell unconscious as soon as the Daimon left him. Uranus immediately attacked the Daimon with World Shaking, and the Daimon exploded into countless tiny pieces. The tiny pieces of the Daimon fell onto the floor, then each piece quickly moved to a bodysuit along the walls. The suits were immediately inflated, and they started surrounding the two Soldiers, all the while laughing maniacally. Uranus and Neptune fought with punches and kicks, but didn't appear to be inflicting any damage on the puppets. The puppets seemed to be only filled with air, stretching their arms in unimaginable ways. Eventually, both Uranus and Neptune were caught by the arms of the puppets, and they fell to the floor. "The Talismans." Just when it appeared that the fight was over, both Uranus and Neptune heard Sailor Pluto's voice. Uranus' sword and Neptune's mirror appeared in front of them and destroyed the puppet arms around them. They reached for the talismans. Standing back to back, Uranus guarded Neptune's back with the sword while Neptune held up her mirror in front of the puppets. As Neptune turned around and scanned the puppets with the mirror, all except one puppet seen by the mirror immediately turned into translucent shadows. Uranus unsheathed the sword, dashed forward and buried the glowing blade deep into the Daimon's single eye. Germatos laughed maniacally one last time as its body stretched, distorted, and finally exploded into nothing. "I thought I heard Pluto's voice." Uranus picked up her short sword from the floor and sheathed it, then the two continued running. "Deathbusters...they're tougher than I expected," Uranus said as they ran. "But we won't lose." Neptune replied. Sailormoon went over to Hotaru and helped her sit up. "Hotaru..." Professor Tomoe's called the name of his daughter while still lying unconscious on the floor. "The chalice..." Hotaru said with a weak voice. "What about the chalice?" "I heard them say that they would all be destroyed if this room is illuminated by Super Sailormoon's chalice. We have to hurry...they will be here soon." Sailormoon stood up, and looked around for a second. "It's good that you weren't hurt." She said with a smile. "Please hurry, Usagi. Please bring out the chalice now...it will save Chibiusa too." Sailormoon looked at Hotaru and did not say a thing. After a couple of second, a puzzled look appeared on Hotaru's face. "Hotaru...how did you know I was Tsukino Usagi?" Hotaru looked surprised, then looked down and started a light, but evil smile. "You are not Hotaru!" "Yes I am, but only the body," Hotaru said with a sinister laugh. "What happened to Hotaru?" "I absorbed her." Hotaru stood up, then rose off the floor. She then transformed back to Mistress Nine. "I am Mistress Nine, an alien life form from the Tau System who is taking possession of Hotaru's body." A door behind Sailormoon suddenly opened. Sailormoon turned around and saw Uranus and Neptune. They had finally found their way to the Messiah of Silence. "We have finally found you!" Uranus said. "For the future of this world, we will destroy you." Neptune added. "Wait! Uranus! Neptune!" Mistress Nine turned around, and the darkness beyond her parted like drapes. Behind the darkness, was the array of machines and the transparent dome containing small cosmos and nebulas. "My Master, Pharaoh Ninety. Please wait just a little longer." The Messiah of Darkness then looked back at Sailormoon, Uranus, and Neptune with a light laughter.
"With just a pinch of courage, anyone can be a Soldier. With just a pinch of feeling for others, anyone can be the Messiah. No matter how you have changed, please don't forget about the others who care about you. I'll help you!" "I am sorry, Chibiusa...I'm sorry..." With a faint echo, Tomoe Hotaru's essence completely faded away into the Darkness inside Mistress Nine. "It's finally gone." Mistress Nine's voice was calm and low, but it carried a overtone of annoyance towards Hotaru's mind. "Hotaru!" Sailormoon tried calling to her. "Enough of that! She's not Hotaru anymore!" Uranus shouted. "She is correct," Mistress Nine said with a faint, malicious smile, "Tomoe Hotaru has died just now." "That's not true!" Sailormoon still refused to believe it. "From within this Tau System, a great power is arriving. It is our great master of the Deathbusters, the Lord of Silence, Pharaoh Ninety. Now we just need to have the chalice in our hands, Pharaoh Ninety will appear in this system, and the Era of Silence will begin." "Then we'll just have to destroy you now!" Uranus raised her right fist, converging beams of light above her head. Water swirled around Neptune's uplifted hands as she said, "Prepare to die". Sailormoon looked back and saw the two initiating their attacks. "World Shaking!" "Deep Submerge!" "No!" Sailormoon ran in front of Mistress Nine. She was hit by both attacks and the force sent her flying toward Mistress Nine, but only to be stopped by an invisible force field before she could hit the Messiah of Silence. Mistress Nine did not move. "How nice of you." Mistress Nine commented with a faint smile. "You fool!" Uranus could not believe what Sailormoon did. "Stay out of our way!" Neptune shouted. Mistress Nine's eyes glowed red. Her long hair which scattered on the floor suddenly came to life and wrapped itself around Uranus and Neptune. The two were swung into a giant statue, and the hair around them melted into the statue. "If you don't want to see them die before your own eyes, surrender the chalice." Mistress Nine threatened. "Don't!" Uranus shouted from high up. Mistress Nine's hair slipped around Uranus and Neptune's necks. "Maybe I should get rid of one first." Mistress Nine tightened the grip on Neptune's neck. "Wait!" Sailormoon said. Neptune struggled to shout while being strangled. "If you give the chalice to her, I'll have no respect for you for as long as I live!" "But..." "Don't do it!" Uranus repeated. "Sailormoon!" Neptune was almost screaming. After pausing for a second, Sailormoon held her hands out in front of her. "No!" Uranus screamed with all her effort. A ball of light appeared in Sailormoon's hands. Mistress Nine watched. Her eyes started to widen with the radiance of the light. She could feel how close she was to the completion of her plan, traces of excitement showed on her otherwise cold face. Tomoe Soichi walked slowly out of the darkness with one hand to his chest, which seemed to be injured, causing him pain. Breathing heavily with every step, he walked into the middle of the room. "Ho...ta...ru..." Tomoe kept walking slowly towards Mistress Nine. His unexpected appearance surprised Sailormoon. "Hotaru's father?" "Hotaru...it's me...it's papa..." Tomoe struggled towards Mistress Nine, and put his hands onto her shoulders. "It's all my fault...that it ended up this way..." During all this, Mistress Nine's face remained stone cold, and she did not even bother looking at Tomoe. "Germatos' empty shell..." She looked down at Tomoe's face with an expression of disgust. "How filthy and irritating. Don't touch me!" She repelled him off her, then picked him up by the neck with her hair. Tomoe was too weak to even struggle. "Ho...ta...ru..." He was still calling his daughter's name even as he was being strangled. "Stop that!" Crying, Sailormoon fell to her knees. "Stop that... please." Outside the Mugen Academy building, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus were maintaining the energy field to keep the Daimons in. The red Daimons kept up their assault, only stopping inches before them. "Everyone, hang in there!" Mars called for the others. On Mercury's side, her barrier was barely keeping the Daimons in. "They're getting more powerful!" "It's not going to get through us!" Jupiter was holding on strong. "We can't let them out!" Venus said, while maintaining her field. Back inside the building, Tomoe's remaining life was being gradually strangled out of him. "Ho...ta...ru..." "Papa..." A weak voice came out of Mistress Nine's mouth. It surprised the three Soldiers in the room. "Papa..." The same weak voice slipped out of Mistress Nine's lips again. "Impossible!" She covered her face with her right hand. Seen between her fingers, rage filled her eyes. "Hotaru...?" Sailormoon looked at Mistress Nine with a renewed sense of hope. The Messiah of Silence started to feel the flesh rebelling against her. Her hair lost the grip on Tomoe, Uranus, and Neptune. "This body...is refusing me..." The pain caused her to fall to her knees. "This pain..." "Papa..." Hotaru's voice again drifted in the room. "Kill her now, Sailormoon!" Uranus shouted from high above. "No!" Sailormoon said with tears in her eyes. "Hotaru is still alive!" "Don't be fooled!" Neptune did not feel Hotaru's consciousness could be of any significant importance at this point. The most important thing was to eliminate Mistress Nine. Tomoe crawled over to Mistress Nine on all fours. "Hotaru? Are you in pain?" "The chalice..." Pain was making it difficlut for her to get anything out. "Chalice?" "I need the chalice...Without it...I..." "But where is the chalice?" "Papa!" Hotaru's consciousness shed traces of light inside Mistress Nine's darkness. She screamed and stood back up, but couldn't stand alone without falling over. With a determined look on her face, Sailormoon held both hands out. Between her palms, a small ball of light appeared. From high up on the statue, Uranus and Neptune watched. Disbelief and frustration almost brought tears to Uranus' eyes. "Why?!" "You are not the Messiah! You have no right to do that?!" Neptune's voice was almost weeping. "Hotaru is still alive. She's alive!" Sailormoon had no doubt she was doing the right thing. At that very moment, her solid belief she always carried within burst out in the form of words: "It can't be true that there is no way to save this world without sacrificing someone innocent like Hotaru!" From between Sailormoon's cupped hands shed forth brilliant rays of light, piercing the darkness of the hall. "That..." Mistress Nine said, pointing at the light. "That's the chalice?" Tomoe looked back, seeing what she was pointing at. The ball of light started to expand and took the form of the chalice. With the chalice floating in her hands, Sailormoon walked towards Tomoe. Tomoe turned around to Sailormoon and begged: "Please...I need that to help my Hotaru." Sailormoon lowered her arms, and the chalice floated away from her into Tomoe's outstretched hands. "Thank you." Tomoe said with a weak, but grateful voice. Sailormoon answered with a smile. Tomoe then hurried back to Mistress Nine with the chalice. "Hotaru, here's the chalice. Did you want this?" "Yes...hurry..." Mistress Nine replied with difficulty, pain gripping her voice. Up on the statue, Neptune wept. With a trembling right hand, Mistress Nine reached for the chalice. The moment she clutched the chalice, blinding light flashed and she rose to her feet, raising the chalice high up with both hands. She laughed triumphantly. A force field around her threw Tomoe and Sailormoon away from her. Uranus and Neptune watched from high above in despair. "Sailormoon, when Pharaoh Ninety arrives, I will spare your life by making you a Daimon vessel." Mistress Nine stood with her arms crossed, the chalice in one hand. "Hotaru!? Can you hear me? Hotaru!?" Sailormoon still tried to reach Hotaru. "It's useless. No matter what you do, it is all too late now." "You won't take Hotaru or this world so easily!" "Give up. This chalice is the crystalization of a pure heart with love, hatred, happiness, anger and sorrow all at the highest level." Lightly holding the chalice in one hand, she spoke softly. "To defeat Pharaoh Ninety after it absorbs this, you will need a crystal which is even more pure than this chalice." After a brief pause, Mistress Nine declared: "You do not stand a chance!" Mistress Nine forced the chalice through the glass of the cylinder standing in the the middle of all the machines. Accompanying her laugh, a great power was released. A black pillar of light shot straight up from the base of the building into the sky through the star-shaped opening in the force field dome. What remained of the campus building had begun to disintegrate from the top. The Daimons trapped inside the barrier suddenly started to attack with renewed force. "What!?" Mars exclaimed. The Daimons were about to break through the force field. "What happened in there!?" Mercury exclaimed as the Daimons on her side were also nearly through. A Daimon emerged partially through the barrier and sank its teeth into Jupiter's chest. She screamed in pain. "Sailormoon!?" Venus, in a state of panic, shouted. The glass cylinder rattled then shattered, revealing the chalice. Then the chalice shattered. Sailormoon was stunned. The glass dome glowed, with bolts of energy starting to explode out from the dome one after another, destroying everything in their path. "This way, Pharaoh Ninety!" Mistress Nine called to her Master. A dark, spinning nebula appeared in the glowing dome. "See? This is the result of your naivety." Uranus screamed at Sailormoon from atop the stone pillar. "Moon Cosmic Power!" Sailormoon raised the Spiral Heart Moon Rod and fired a stream of heart beams into the dome. The stream hit Pharaoh Ninety, but it had no effect. A single eye on Pharaoh Ninety opened, and a single ray of dark light shot forth, annihilating Sailormoon's beam. The large beam shot out of the dome and struck Sailormoon. She flew back and the Spiral Heart Moon Rod spun out of her hand. "Now that you can't even do a second level transformation, you have no way of preventing the Silence. The world for me and my master is about to begin." Mistress Nine declared her victory. But suddenly, a concentration of energy formed directly behind her. She turned around, only in time to see a huge beam blasting out of the dome directly at her. The beam hit her and she screamed in disbelief. After the energy beam dissipated, Tomoe was seen on his knees, tightly holding the unconsicous Messiah of Silence and trying to cover her with his body. He was unhurt. In front of both of them stood Sailormoon, taking the full impact from the blast face-on. Barely conscious, she fell to her knees. She was severely hurt, and breathing very heavily. The black dome around the remnants of the building spiralled into a whirlwind and tore down the force fields surrounding it. The four Guardian Soldiers were carried off the ground, and they drifted helplessly in the black tornado. Inside the building, a dark, spherical mass appeared where the glass dome was. Sinister growls could be heard coming from within. "Hotaru..." Tomoe whispered while holding her altered body. Hotaru's consciousness surfaced and shed traces of light within Mistress Nine's dark essence. Tomoe heard his daughter's voice echo inside him: "Papa..." "Hotaru..." Tomoe slowly opened his eyes and whispered again. "Papa? Where are you? It's dark in here." "I'm right here." "I have to help Chibiusa! Papa, let me out of here!" "I'm sorry...I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Forgive me..." He closed his eyes and tears flowed out of his eyes. "Only if we can return to those days... I'm sorry" All the memories of happiness and sadness he shared with her little girl flashed through his mind. Tears fell on Hotaru's hand. Her soul was fully revived. She opened her eyes, and lightly whispered: "Papa..." The face did not have Mistress Nine's cold, but had Hotaru's warmth. "Ho...Hotaru?" Tomoe couldn't believe his daughter had come back to him. Hearing Tomoe's voice, Sailormoon looked back. Uranus and Neptune watched in disbelief from above. But suddenly, a black star appeared on Hotaru's forehead, and she was Mistress Nine again. She screamed and pushed Tomoe away. "Go away...you insect! Get lost! There's no meaning in your existence anyway...so don't get in our way!" Mistress Nine had almost lost all control of the body. She couldn't stand up straight anymore. "Die! Die now!" "No! Never!" Hotaru's soul fought the dark consciousness and took control of the body. "Damn you!" Mistress Nine struggled to regain control. "I have...I have...people who mean a lot to me!" The light of Hotaru's soul exploded inside the body and shattered the darkness. On her forehead, the black star also shattered, and the sign of Saturn appeared underneath. The body completely disintegrated, leaving only the glowing sign of Saturn, which then also faded into nothing. Uranus and Neptune watched in awe. After the glowing sign of Saturn faded away, Uranus murmured: "The Soldier of Destruction...has resurrected..." Back at Mamoru's apartment, Mamoru was still keeping Chibi-usa alive by channeling his own life energy into her body. A translucent form appeared before them. Mamoru looked up and saw her, but could not comprehend. Artemis and Luna sensed the presence and hurried into the room. They saw the ghostly form of Sailor Saturn floating just off the floor motionlessly in the air. The transluscent image softly said: "Chibi-usa, everything's all right now." The faint figure further faded into nothing while floating forward, then reappeared just in front of Mamoru and Chibi-usa. Sailor Saturn put her hands over her chest. When she lowered her arms, Chibi-usa's heart crystal was in her hands. The light of the crystal made the faded figure even more faded. The crystal floated off her hands and back into Chibi-usa's body. "Sailor...Saturn...?" Artemis recognized the apparition as the Soldier of Destruction. "Hotaru...?" Luna recognized the translucent form as the little girl who was Chibi-usa's friend. "Thank you, Chibi-usa. Thank you." Then she disappeared. In the meanwhile, Pharaoh Ninety was constantly expanding and growling. "Pharaoh Ninety is steadily growing in size and power," Neptune said while looking from high above. Beside her, Uranus was feeling too hopeless to even look. "We have no way of stopping the Silence now..." Suddenly, the ground started to shake like an earthquake. The ground parted, and everything started to tumble down. The giant statue with Uranus and Neptune trapped was no exception. The two were freed and fell to the ground as the statue collapsed. Whatever remained of the Mugen Academy building was no more. Pharaoh Ninety was exposed and expanding quickly. All around its black body, buildings were reduced to rubble. Uranus and Neptune were hurt from the fall. Much of their suits were torn in the fall. They slowly got back up on their feet. There was nothing they could do except to look in despair as Pharaoh Ninety expanded and destroyed its surroundings in the distance. "In the end, everything we've done is pointless," muttered Uranus. "It's over," agreed Neptune. Between them and Pharaoh Ninety within shouting distance was Sailormoon. She was on her knees. At this point, even she had lost all hope and could not get back to her feet. "Sailormoon...are you satisfied now?" Uranus asked calmly, but there was no response. "Answer me!" She shouted, but there was still no response. She fell to her knees and wept. "Sailormoon..." Sailormoon heard a soft voice calling her name. She knew that voice. She looked up to find the origin of the voice. In front of her, the translucent image of Saturn floated down, then solidified. "Sailormoon, thank you for protecting my body." Saturn said with a very soft voice. "I am here, thanks to you." "Sailor Saturn...?" Neptune was surprised by Saturn's unexpected appearance. "Hotaru?" Sailormoon recognized the familiar form in the light purple Sailor Suit. Her feelings were very mixed. "Hotaru!" The badly hurt professor called to his daughter. With Tomoe Hotaru's soft, fragile, and warm voice, Saturn said: "I am not Hotaru anymore. I am now the only one who can save this world from the Silence. Just leave the rest to me." "Wait! I'll go with you!" Sailormoon tried to stand back up. "No. To destroy Pharaoh Ninety, you must do so with a single attack from within. It may be possible for Super Sailormoon, but now that you don't have the power of the chalice, you would not even be able to get inside. This is for me to do." "When you do destroy Pharaoh Ninety...what's going to happen to you?" "I am known as the Soldier of Destruction because I have been given the power to destroy whole worlds," Saturn raised her right arm, and her Silence Glaive appeared in her hand. "But when I use that power, even I have no escape." "No!" Sailormoon tried to rush forward to stop Saturn. Lowering the glaive in her hands, Sailor Saturn pointed it at her forehead, stopping her from approaching any further. Sailormoon was stunned by Saturn's action. "Good bye" were Sailor Saturn's last words as she leaped backwards into Pharaoh Ninety. Explosions could be seen inside. "Hotaru!" Sailormoon cried and ran toward Pharaoh Ninety, but she was thrown back by an invisible barrier. She fell backwards and rolled to a stop, face-first on the ground. Sailormoon looked back up. The feeling of powerlessness almost made her cry in her frustration. With one hand on the brooch, she called: "Crisis Make Up!" But without the chalice, there was no effect. After pausing for a moment, she tried again: "Crisis Make Up!" Still, nothing happened. Not willing to give up, she tried again and again. Eventually, the droplets of hope turned into anger. "Change!", she shouted with tears in her voice, and started pounding the ground with her right hand. Even while weeping, she kept on trying, although she knew by then that it was pointless. As the four Guardian Soldiers floated helplessly inside the black whirlwind, they felt Sailormoon's feelings and whispered: "Sailormoon..." The gem on their tiaras glowed. Uranus and Neptune stood behind Sailormoon and watched without saying a word. Her pure, sincere emotions had touched them. The gem on their tiaras also glowed. The crescent moon gem on Sailormoon's tiara changed colour. It cycled through the colours for her four Guardian Soldiers and the two Outer Planet Soldiers. Pulling all of her remaining determination and hope together, she made one last attempt to transform. As loudly as she could, she yelled: "Crisis Make Up!" The impossible became reality. A large heart crystal formed in front of her brooch, and butterfly wings of light grew out of her back. She leaped and flew towards Pharaoh Ninety. All around her were butterflies of light. "Good bye" Saturn's voice was again heard from inside Pharaoh Ninety. The heart crystal in front of Sailormoon penetrated the energy barrier around Pharaoh Ninety, and she sank into the black sphere. A series of explosions began inside. Then, with a dying howl, Pharaoh Ninety exploded into the sky, leaving behind a large crater in the ground. Uranus and Neptune stood staring blankly at the crater, while water from the bay nearby began filling it. Pluto's voice echoed through their minds again: "If you find the true Messiah..." "The true Messiah..." Uranus pondered about the meaning of those words. The both of them looked up, and saw a trail of sparkles raining in the distance. Dancing down from the sky, sparkling butterflies of light gently fluttered down in the hundreds. Lying on the ground, the four Guardian Soldiers regained consciousness and saw the butterflies. Among them stood the silhouette of Super Sailormoon, with her sailorsuit tattered, and shoulder pads torn. Tousled hair waving in a light breeze, her eyes were vacant of emotion. In her arms, was a small sleeping infant. On her face, was a blank expression of deep sorrow.
A review from the last episode. Sailor Moon is holding the baby and Uranus and Neptune come up to her and take the baby. The other soldiers come out from the wreckage and help her. [Title Screen] In Chibiusa's room, she wakes up and everyone is around her. She asks where Hotaru is, but they get a sad look. Chibiusa says it can't be true, she came to her in a dream and told her "thank you." Mamoru tells her he's sure she's alive somewhere. Chibiusa says she won't cry anymore, because Usagi did the best she could. Chibiusa's friends are outside ready to go to school. She leaves with them and Luna talks to Usagi. Usagi says that she knows Chibiusa's hiding her sadness. Luna says that they haven't found Sailor Pluto or Hotaru. Everyone is looking around the city for them. Usagi says that she felt her warmth in her hands, she knows she's alive. Chibiusa is on a bus and she's thinking about Hotaru, when she sees Haruka's car outside a restaurant. They're inside, and Michiru is giving Hotaru a bottle. Haruka says they look perfect together, and Michiru says there's nothing wrong with acting like normal parents. They drive off and Haruka sees a cruise ship go by. She remembers the first time they met, and everything they'd been through together. At a hospital, a nurse says that the baby is going to be very healthy. They go into Mr. Tomoe's room and he takes the baby and he knows who it is. A doctor tells Haruka that much of his memory has been lost, and he often has nervous breakdowns. He still may lead a normal life, but his memories will remain lost. Outside, he's in a wheelchair going for a ride with the baby. Haruka and Michiru are watching. Michiru's a little sad about leaving them, but Haruka says that they have one more thing before they leave. In the park, Chibiusa is riding bikes with her friends when she loses her hat. She goes to get it and an image of Sailor Pluto appears in front of her. The image tells her that she wishes she could hug her, but she come to her world for a while. Chibiusa is sad because she's lonely, Hotaru is gone. Pluto tells her she has many friends, and that Hotaru is still alive, but has been reborn, and Pluto leaves. A man at the bottom of a hill has her hat. She goes to get it and recognizes the man as Hotaru's father. [Commercials] Mr. Tomoe gives Chibiusa the hat, and the baby wants to touch Hotaru. He tells her that the baby's name is Hotaru. Chibiusa remembers what Pluto said and that she's been reborn. Just before he leaves, Chibiusa tells him to take care of the baby. Chibiusa says that they'll meet again, but for now, it's bye-bye. At the former Infinity site, the girls are looking around for any clues of anything left over. They don't find anything, and Rei yells at Usagi for being sad. Artemis and Luna see Haruka's car on the nearby street. A violin starts playing and Usagi goes up to see Haruka and Michiru, but Haruka throws a rock at her. Then, they're gone. They come down and say that they can't tolerate her behavior anymore, she risked the future of the earth and they can't take that. They say that she doesn't have the qualities of a future queen. Mako reminds everyone that they knew they were going to be stubborn from the start. Michiru asks if they want to hurt their thick heads, and Mako knows this is a challenge. Haruka and Michiru transform and so do the girls. Usagi tells them all to stop. Rei asks if she's mad at them, Usagi says no. She knows she was too trusting, but she doesn't think what she did was wrong, Sailor Saturn is still a sailor soldier. She tells them to stop this, but Neptune says, "If you want us to stop, do it yourself." Usagi transforms and says that this is her fight. Deep Submerge! She hits Sailor Moon. The inners go to help her, but the rose comes and stops them. Tuxedo Mask explains that sometimes, you must fight in order to know and understand each other. He tells them to stay back and let them fight. Uranus does a World Shaking and Moon jumps out of the way and lands behind Uranus. Uranus starts punching and kicking at her, but she misses. Then, Neptune comes up and grabs her. Uranus starts running at her, when the silver crystal activates. It knocks Neptune back and Uranus and Neptune hit each other. They get up and kneel to Sailor Moon and say that they are happy that she finally showed her true power. They've found the true Messiah and saved the world. Sailor Moon asks who the Messiah is and Uranus can't believe it. They leave and say that it was all so hard from the beginning, but now it's worthwhile. Just before they walk off, Sailor Moon asks if Hotaru's alive. Uranus says that they'll see her again. Chibiusa gets off the bus and hugs Mamoru, while Haruka and Michiru drive off into the sunset. On Mamoru's balcony, Usagi and Mamoru are watching the moon at night. It's a cool evening and Usagi says she's a little cold. She wonders if Mamoru might have a way to warm her up, having a kiss in mind. Mamoru is going inside to make her some hot cocoa, and Usagi gets mad at him. [Title Screen] Chibiusa is in her room looking at the stars, when a letter comes from the future. "Small Lady, how are you doing? We're very lonely without you. Please come back soon, I'll be waiting. Mom. P.S. Dad is waiting for you too." She remembers her parents and thinks about going home. Usagi walks in and sees the letter. Chibiusa gives it to her and she's saddened by it. The girls are at the shrine and Usagi says that there's a letter from Chibiusa's mother and says, "Oh, yeah, that's me!" Then Minako makes a comment about it all being in Hiragana again. Ami asks what is said and Usagi tells them. Rei asks what Chibiusa said and she said, "I don't have to go right now, I can go back any time." Everyone thinks that it might be a good idea if she went back. Usagi suggests they have a good-bye party for her. Later, Usagi tells her about it. Chibiusa hasn't decided yet, and she asks if they really want her to go home that much. Then she gets sad and leaves. Chibiusa is running and she thinks Usagi is stupid, once she leaves, she won't be able to see any of them again, and she doesn't want that. At home, Luna tells Usagi that all her money is gone, so how is she going to get a present. Usagi takes out her favorite dress when she was little, she says it's going to be a special gift. Mamoru gets back to his apartment, and sees Chibiusa camped out on his front step. They go in and have some tea. Chibiusa asks him if everyone hates her, because they all want her to go home. He tells her that everyone wishes she could stay here forever. But he reminds her that she's still a kid and needs the love of her parents. She asks if Mamoru will be lonely, and he says of course. She runs up and hugs him and knocks her tea off the table. It's nighttime, and Usagi pricks her finger with a needle. Chibiusa wakes up and asks her what she's doing. Usagi tells her nothing and to go back to bed. A thunderstorm starts at the former Academy and there's a pile of broken daimon eggs. A lightning strike hits it and reveals one, uncracked egg. It hatches (of course) and the daimon starts heading for the daimon oven, which is still there. At the party, Chibiusa's sad, and Usagi tells her to cheer up because home is a lot closer than heaven. Then Rei gets mad at her for talking about something she doesn't know about. Rei gets an idea to liven up the party and is going to sing. The daimon is sleeping on the oven and then goes inside, and of course it shuts. The new daimon, Range, wants to collect pure hearts. [Commercials] All the girls give Chibiusa their presents. Mako gives her some food, Ami gives her a computer program, Rei gives her a tape of her songs, with one especially for Chibiusa, Minako gives her a picture album she mad, Mamoru gives her a single rose, and Usagi gives her a rabbit shaped backpack. Rei thinks it's a cute puppy, but Usagi yells at her that it's a rabbit, and asks if Rei has something against her because she's always putting her down. Rei sees Usagi's fingers and they're all cut up and she gives her a bandage. Chibiusa says that she wishes she had a friend like that, she could share anything with (Foreshadowing of SuperS, she'll have Pegasus to talk to). At the docks, Chibiusa is about to leave and everyone says goodbye, but Usagi doesn't say anything. She runs off and Usagi follows her. Chibiusa starts to say the words that make the light gateway, just Usagi gets there. Usagi says she'll be happy in the future, and that she shouldn't be sad, just then, Chibiusa starts to float up. "No, Usagi, I don't want to go!" They touch one last time and Chibiusa disappears. Luna runs up and tells Usagi that somethings happening. Pure hearts are being taken all over the city. They're being put in a huge bottle that Range made. The Sailors appear and so does Tuxedo Mask. "In the name of the moon, we'll punish you!!" Range starts to attack and Mars attacks it but it dodges and Mars is knocked back. Jupiter tries to hit it and misses, and Range opens the oven and singes some of Jupiter's hair. Mercury tries an Aqua Illusion, but it doesn't work, so Venus comes up from behind and tries a Love Me Chain. Range grabs her and swings her around and throws her into Mercury. Chibiusa is walking through the time dimension and sees Crystal Tokyo up ahead. Range takes her cord and electrocutes the soldiers with it. Range goes up to Sailor Moon and tries to take her heart crystal. She wishes she had the Holy Grail and she could defeat it. Just then, there's a Pink Sugar Heart Attack and Chibimoon comes down, lands on the daimon, and fires at it. "In the name of the future moon, I'll punish you! Range gets really mad and cracks Chibimoon's stick. Tuxedo Mask throws a rose and it sticks right in Range's head and he tells Sailor Moon to do it and believe in friendship. "Even if I don't have the Holy Grail, if we have pure hearts to protect others, we can!" Moon Spiral Heart Attack! Range is destroyed and finally, so is the daimon oven. Sailor Moon asks why Chibimoon came back, and Chibimoon says that they can't survive without her there. Just then, a letter appears in LunaP's mouth. "Small Lady, thanks for all the gifts. Don't make trouble for Usagi and behave yourself. Bye-Bye. P.S. Don't forget to bring more gifts next time!" Everyone agrees it's definitely Usagi. Chibimoon says, "And that's the end, bye now!"
