Rei and Yuuichirou were out shopping. Rei was making Yuuichirou carry all of the boxes, so he couldn't see where he was going. Just as they were passing by a store, a girl who was carrying a large bag came out of the door. Yuuichirou and the girl (Cooan in human form) bumped into each other, causing both of them to drop everything that they were carrying. Cooan snapped at Yuuichirou, but Yuuichirou picked everything up for her. Then Cooan left, saying to herself that Yuuichirou was such a loser. When Cooan returned to the spaceship, Rubeus was waiting for her. Rubeus said that Wiseman had predicted that the rabbit would appear at Hikawa Shrine that afternoon. He asked Cooan to get the rabbit. Then Cooan gave Rubeus a small bottle of perfume that she had bought. But Rubeus just crushed the bottle in his hands, making Cooan feel very sad. Cooan went to Hikawa Shrine in her human form. She ran into Yuuichirou, who was selling the shrine goods. Cooan bought a fortune paper, and got one that said BIG luck. For the love section, it said that her long awaited feelings will get through. So Cooan felt very happy. When Cooan opened her compact, Rubeus appeared (the compact was also some communications device) and asked if the rabbit had appeared. Cooan said that she hadn't and Rubeus told her to try her best. Then Cooan saw Rei chasing Yuuichirou around the shrine grounds, as Yuuichirou hadn't cleaned up the yard yet. Cooan thought that it was very foolish of Yuuichirou to do so much for a girl who didn't love him. Meanwhile Usagi was in Rei's room reading some manga. Rei scolded her for just playing around, but Usagi said that she couldn't find out any more information from Chibi Usa. Then a cosmetics sales lady (Cooan in disguise) came to Rei's house. As Rei and Usagi were looking at the cosmetics, Cooan asked if they had boy friends. Rei pointed out that Usagi wasn't doing so well with Mamoru. Usagi said that she loved him and believed in him. Rei said that that was the most important thing, and told Usagi to have more confidence in herself. But Cooan said that that was wrong. She said that the most important thing was how much the other person loved you. When Rei said that she didn't want any cosmetics, Cooan asked if there was a little girl in the house. She said that she had some cosmetics for little girls too. But Rei said that there wasn't such a girl there. So Cooan left thinking that she had to just wait for the rabbit to appear. A little while later when Usagi was leaving Rei's shrine, she saw Chibi Usa coming towards her. Usagi warned Chibi Usa not to wander around, but Chibi Usa said that she was going to play with Rei. Then Usagi ran off to catch the bus.
When Chibi Usa got to the top of the stairs, Cooan appeared and caught her.
But Yuuichirou appeared and hit Cooan with his broom.
When Rei heard the noise and came, she saw Cooan.
Then Cooan attacked them with her dark fire attack.
Rei jumped out of the way, but fell down.
When Cooan attacked again, Yuuichirou jumped to protect Rei.
Cooan saw this and asked,
"Why do you do that for a girl that doesn't love you?"
Cooan was shocked at Yuuichirou's answer. Yuuichirou lost consciousness and Rei got very upset. "I won't forgive you Cooan!" Then Rei transformed. Cooan was very surprised to see that Rei was Sailor Mars. Sailor Mars used her burning mandala, and Cooan used her dark fire attack. Then Cooan flew to Sailor Mars and hit her. When Sailor Mars was on the ground, Cooan went up into the air to blast her. Sailor Mars struggled up to carry Yuuichirou away from the blast. But Sailor Mars got hit in the leg with the blast. Cooan said that Sailor Mars was foolish to cover for Yuuichirou. But Sailor Mars said that Cooan should understand if there is someone that she loved. Then Cooan recalled Rubeus. Cooan got tired of talking to Sailor Mars and went to Chibi Usa, who was still unconscious near the steps. When Cooan was going to kill Chibi Usa, a red rose came flying by. Tuxedo Kamen then flew to the ground, picked up Chibi Usa, and flew away. When Cooan was about to go after Tuxedo Kamen, the burning mandala attack hit her. Cooan was on the ground and struggled up when Rubeus appeared in the sky. He asked if Cooan had killed the rabbit yet. Cooan said that Sailor Mars had gotten in the way. She thought that Rubeus was going to help her, but Rubeus said that he had no reason to help her. Cooan said that Rubeus had loved her, but Rubeus shouted back coldly saying that he didn't do such stupid things as loving somebody. Then Rubeus gave Cooan a present. It was a bomb, and he told Cooan to destroy the rabbit with it. Cooan was very saddened but she accepted it. Sailor Mars shouted to get rid of the bomb, but Cooan didn't. Then Sailor Venus' venus love me chain knocked the bomb out of Cooan's hands, and Sailor Jupiter's sparkling wide pressure blasted the bomb. The other Sailor Senshi appeared and Sailor Moon said that Cooan couldn't escape. Cooan admitted that she had nowhere left to go and started attacking the Sailor Senshi very wildly. Sailor Mars was still on the ground watching the battle. She started to feel sorry for Cooan. Just when Sailor Jupiter was going to land a very powerful kick into Cooan, Sailor Mars came by and blocked the kick with her body. Everyone was shocked.
Cooan asked why Sailor Mars had done that.
Sailor Mars said, "Because you know love. I know that we can be friends.
It's not the end, but the beginning.
Why are you sad that you can be your real self?"
Then Sailor Mars asked Sailor Moon to turn Cooan into a normal human. Sailor Moon said that she didn't have the moon stick any more, but Luna and Artemis said that she can use the ginzuishou. So Sailor Moon used her ginzuishou. "Moon crystal power!" Cooan "refreshed" and became a normal human. Later, Cooan came to the Hikawa Shrine, but this time she was a normal sales lady.
Ami, Mako, Chibi Usa, and Usagi were in Usagi's room, where Ami and Usagi were playing chess. As expected Usagi lost to Ami. Then Ami noticed that it was pretty late, and she said that she had to go to Chess Tower. Meanwhile Rubeus, Petz, Karaberas, and Beruche were in the UFO watching Cooan, who had turned into a normal human. Beruche didn't know why Cooan had chosen to become human, but the others just said that Cooan wasn't their sister any more. Rubeus said that he would take care of Cooan later. Another crystal point had been discovered at Chess Tower, and Beruche said that she would there go herself. Ami, Mako, and Usagi went to Chess Tower, where the buildings were shaped like chess pieces. Ami said that there was a chess tournament on the coming Sunday. Usagi said that Ami would win for sure, but Ami blushed and said that she just liked chess and it didn't matter if she won. But then a girl (Beruche in human form) came and said that the result was important. She said that a chess game that wasn't played to win was just for kids. Mako said that it didn't matter if they win or lose if one tried hard. But Beruche said that that was an excuse for losers. After Beruche went into the Chess Tower, Ami told her friends that she had to go see the owner. Ami played chess with the owner of Chess Tower, who was a friend of her grandfather. He said that Ami seemed different because she didn't seem as lonely as before. Ami said that she had made some very good friends. Then Ami saw Beruche sneaking around in the Chess Tower. Beruche went to a large room which was the central point of the crystal point, and she used her dark water attack to fill the room with evil energy (fog). Ami came and told Beruche to stop. But Beruche just said, "I hate nice people like you," and blasted Ami. Ami fell to the ground, and Beruche was about to finish her off. But Ami struggled up and transformed into Sailor Mercury. Sailor Mercury used her shine aqua illusion attack to get rid of Beruche's fog. Beruche got mad and was going to attack, but the sparkling wide pressure attack blasted Beruche's hand. Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter had appeared. Then Beruche said that it wasn't fair to fight 3 on 1, so she disappeared. After Beruche disappeared, Ami told the others that her identity had been discovered, as she had transformed in front of Beruche. Back in the UFO, Beruche was looking at the injury that he had received. Then Petz and Karaberas came by and teased her. Beruche laughed and said that she didn't need anyone's help. The day of the tournament came and Beruche was determined to defeat Ami. Minako, Usagi, Rei, Mako and Cooan came to cheer for Ami. Usagi took out some fans and started cheering loudly for Ami. Minako and Mako got embarrassed being with Usagi, and Rei took the fans away from Usagi. Rei told Usagi to be quiet and the owner of Chess Tower asked who they were. The girls said that they were friends of Ami. Minako asked the old man if Ami would be able to win, and the owner said that there was a strong rival. Cooan saw the picture on the screen, and knew that it was Beruche. As the tournament went on, Ami kept winning, as did Beruche. Eventually the final match was between Ami and Beruche. Ami didn't know that her opponent was Beruche in disguise. Beruche took out her own chess pieces and asked Ami if it was all right to used those for the final match. Ami said that it was pretty and agreed to use them. Before the game started Ami said, "Let's play a fun game of chess," and struck out her hand. When they shook hands Ami felt that Beruche's hand was very cold. The match began, and everyone was anxiously watching on the TV monitor. (The match itself was played in a different room.) Beruche took some of Ami's pieces, and Usagi and the others started worrying, as it looked like Ami was losing. Beruche smiled and asked Ami what she was going to do. Then Ami spotted a move and got a check. Beruche got upset and whispered to Ami, "The battle begins now, Sailor Mercury." Ami was shocked and finally realized that her opponent was Beruche. Then Beruche got up and destroyed the TV cameras. Beruche returned to her normal form, and Ami transformed into Sailor Mercury. Since the TV monitors went out, Usagi and the others left the viewing area to find out what was going on. Beruche and Sailor Mercury were facing off in the room. Beruche said that she wanted to battle Sailor Mercury in chess. But then the other Sailor Senshi appeared. "You're one million and fifty thousand years too young to want to challenge Ami in chess. You're a person who doesn't know her own standing. I'll punish you in the name of the moon!" But Beruche just laughed and trapped the Sailor Senshi in a large sphere. Sailor Mars used her burning mandala, but her attack just bounced around inside the sphere. Sailor Mercury saw that her friends were in trouble and agreed to continue the chess match. Then Beruche moved some of her pieces to better positions, saying that someone like Ami should be able to handle the handicap. When Beruche moved and took one of Sailor Mercury's pieces, Sailor Mercury's legs began to freeze. Then Beruche said that these chess pieces were made such that the body will start freezing when one of the pieces were taken.
Sailor Moon yelled out, "Mercury, do your best!"
But Sailor Mercury said that she wanted to continue.
Beruche took another one of Sailor Mercury's pieces, and her body got frozen.
The Sailor Senshi yelled out, "That's enough, escape Mercury!"
Petz and Karaberas appeared, as they wanted to share in Beruche's victory. Beruche was going to take one of Sailor Mercury's pieces, but a red rose came flying by and knocked the piece to the ground. When the chess piece crumbled, the ice around Sailor Mercury disappeared, as well as the sphere that the Sailor Senshi were trapped in. When Petz and Karaberas saw that the Sailor Senshi were free, they left, saying that it was Beruche's fault. Beruche sadly said, "See, even real sisters are like this. It's no use to fight for the sake of others." Everyone looked at Beruche sadly. Beruche said, "Why are you looking at me that way. Why don't you laugh? I was foolish to trust my sisters until the very end." Then Beruche used her dark water full power attack. Beruche said, "You're all going to die with me. People are alone when they are born or when they die. There's no such thing as love.."
But then Cooan started running towards Beruche.
Beruche sent a large chunk of ice at Cooan, knocking her down.
The Sailor Senshi went to help Cooan, and when she got up,
Cooan said to Beruche,
"The reason why you're sad is because you're looking for love.
Please feel your own love!"
Then Sailor Moon used her moon crystal power to turn Beruche into a human.
The girls and Cooan and Beruche were at Rei's house. They had raked the leaves and were cooking sweet potatoes in the fire. Cooan and Beruche were happy to have friends, since they never had any before. When one of the potatoes was done, Chibi Usa started eating it and Usagi said that she wanted half. Minako said that it wasn't good to take food from a little kid. Mako said that the other potatoes would get cooked soon. But when Chibi Usa ate the whole potato, Usagi got mad and started chasing Chibi Usa around the yard. Petz and Karaberas were in the UFO watching their former sisters. They were disgusted at Cooan and Beruche. Then Rubeus came and asked if they were going to turn traitor. But Petz and Karaberas said that they wouldn't, and they would do their duty. Then Rubeus gave Petz a stick that would increase the dark power. Rubeus said, "This is the last chance. Kill the Sailor Senshi and the rabbit. Take care of the traitors. If you fail, you're not going to have a place to return to." Petz said that she would do it. At Rei's house, they had finished cooking the potatoes, and Usagi was going to eat a lot. When Mako said that she would get fat eating so much, Rei said to leave her alone. Rei said that because Usagi was like that, she got rejected by somebody. Just then a bright light appeared in the sky. Some light beams came at the girls, but Cooan pushed Chibi Usa out of the way. But Beruche and Cooan got caught, and the light beams pulled them up into the sky. Usagi put Chibi Usa into the closet and hold her to stay hidden. Chibi Usa thought to herself that she had to find the Sailor Senshi to save Beruche and Cooan. Chibi Usa ran to a window and took a look outside. She saw Usagi and the others standing. Then she heard the girls say, "Jupiter star power, Mercury star power, venus star power, mars star power, moon crystal power make up!" Chibi Usa saw Usagi and the others transform into the Sailor Senshi! Sailor Mercury used her computer to find the source of the evil energy, and the Sailor Senshi ran off. Chibi Usa couldn't believe her eyes and she went after the Sailor Senshi. Petz and Karaberas had trapped Cooan and Beruche in an energy ball. They thought that they would know the identities of the Sailor Senshi and the rabbit. Petz said that the stick that Rubeus had given her was very powerful. The power was flowing though her body. Karaberas wanted to feel the power too. But Petz blasted her when she tried to touch the stick. Petz said, "Cooan and Beruche betrayed me. I can't trust you either." Then Cooan and Beruche woke up. They told Petz and Karaberas that the black moon was wrong, and asked them to stop fighting the Sailor Senshi. But Petz said that they were being tricked by the Sailor Senshi. She was going to blast them, but the Sailor Senshi appeared.
Sailor Venus said, "You're the ones being used by Rubeus."
Cooan and Beruche were very happy that the Sailor Senshi had come for them. Petz immediately used her dark thunder attack at the Sailor Senshi. Sailor Jupiter countered with her sparkling wide pressure. But it wasn't strong enough and the Sailor Senshi got blasted. Sailor Jupiter said that Petz had gotten stronger than before. Sailor Mercury used her computer and found out that Petz was getting her power from the stick. Then Sailor Venus used her venus love me chain, and Sailor Mars used her burning mandala. But Petz avoided the attacks and rushed at the Sailor Senshi. Petz used her dark thunder again to blast the Sailor Senshi. When Petz was about to finish off the Sailor Senshi, Cooan and Beruche asked her not to hurt the Sailor Senshi. They said that Rubeus was just using her, and that there must be some reason why he gave her that stick. Then Petz got upset and blasted them, along with Karaberas who was floating in the air next to them. As Beruche and Cooan fell from the ball, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mars caught them. Sailor Moon went to Karaberas and asked her if she was all right. Karaberas was surprised that Sailor Moon would care about her. Cooan and Karaberas explained to her that this was the love of humans. Then Petz was going to attack and kill everyone. Karaberas said that the stick must be taking control of her. Then Sailor Mercury used her shabon spray to cause a fog. When Petz hesitated, Sailor Venus used her venus love me chain to knock the stick out of Petz's hand. After the stick went rolling away, Sailor Jupiter blasted Petz. When Cooan, Beruche, and Karaberas went to Petz, Rubeus appeared in the sky. Petz said that she would finish off the Sailor Senshi, but Rubeus said, "Don't worry. I never expected you to beat the Sailor Senshi. It's good that you got them together in one place. You're just pawns that can be sacrificed anyway. Die with the Sailor Senshi. I'll show you the real power of the stick." Rubeus activated the stick and created a hole into another dimension. The Sailor Senshi were bracing themselves as the hole was trying to suck them in. Petz tried to use her dark power to destroy the hole, but it didn't work and she started getting sucked in. Karaberas, Cooan, and Beruche tried to help Petz. Sailor Moon said that the only way was to go into the hole and destroy the stick. Luna said that it was too dangerous, but the other Sailor Senshi agreed with Sailor Moon, and they all jumped into the hole. When they spotted the stick, they joined hands and used the Sailor Planet power and destroyed the stick. After the hole was destroyed, Cooan and Beruche asked Sailor Moon to help their sisters. So Sailor Moon used her moon crystal power and the ginzuishou to turn Petz and Karaberas into humans. Chibi Usa had arrived at the scene and caught a glimpse of the ginzuishou. Rubeus saw everything from his UFO and also found out that Sailor Moon had the ginzuishou.
Chibi-Usa stands on the dock where she first appeared, stunned by her discovery that Usagi and the others are the Sailor Senshi, and that Usagi has the ginzuishou. She runs off, as a light appears in the sky... Rubeus looks down at the city from his UFO. He plans to kill the "rabbit" and recover the ginzuishou. He is interrupted by laughter, and Esmeraude appears. She tells him he's out of the plan to conquer Crystal Toyko due to his failures and leaves. Rubeus can't believe Prince Demand has abandoned him and plots to recover his favour with the ginzuishou. Usagi arrives home, and Chibi-Usa's gaze is fixed on her brooch as she runs by, changes, and leaves again to see the girls, much to her Mom's dismay, as she thought Usagi was home early. At the temple, the girls and the cats are conferring. Artemis feels all the recent UFO sightings could be related to their enemy. Usagi arrives, notices the snacks (Mako's cooking) and digs right in. The girls declare they will protect Chibi-Usa, the target of their enemy. At home, Chibi-Usa is watching Usagi's Mom making pancakes, a special treat. Chibi-Usa wants to know why she is going through so much trouble making dinner for someone as clumsy and annoying as Usagi. Mom says mothers everywhere are doing the same because they love their children, and she loves Chibi-Usa most of all. Chibi-Usa enters Usagi's room, dismayed by the mess, when she spots the brooch with the ginzuishou on her school uniform. She goes to take it, but hesitates, remembering all the times Sailor Moon has helped her. Downstairs we hear Usagi returning, telling her mother she's not hungry because she's already eaten. At that, Chibi-Usa feels Usagi is too selfish to be the Sailor Moon of legend and forces herself to take the brooch ( This point is important later on ). Usagi and Luna enter her room and find the window open and the brooch gone. Chibi-Usa runs in the streets. Rubeus is back watching the city when the Wiseman appears. This is the day. The "rabbit" has the ginzuishou. Usagi informs the others that Chibi-Usa has her transformation brooch, and they all set out to find her. Back on the dock, Chibi-Usa holds her time-travel key and tries to return home, but nothing happens. She bursts into tears, and one of her energy discharges occurs. When she calms down and opens her eyes, she find Rubeus standing in front of her. Just as her goes for her, Sailors Mars and Venus appear ( they probably saw the discharge too ) and blast him, Mars then grabbing Chibi-Usa. Rubeus recovers, and Mercury shouts a warning and covers Mars' retreat with Chibi-Usa. While Mars is running, Chibi-Usa calls her Rei-chan, startling her. She asks Chibi-Usa how she knew. The others catch up and are glad to see her all right. Chibi-Usa says Usagi doesn't deserve the ginzuishou, and because they are Usagi's friends they only care about it, not her. The Sailor Senshi say they do care for Usagi, but they care for Chibi-Usa too. She cries and dashes away from them across the street, vanishing into an alley. Night falls, and Rubeus continues to search. The girls meet Usagi. They tell her Chibi-Usa knows who she is, and that's why she took the brooch. Chibi-Usa hides in an alley. She won't give the ginzinshou back because she needs it for her mother, but she has to go somewhere. The clock strikes ten, and the girls keep looking. Mamoru returns to his apartment, and finds Chibi-Usa asleep on his doorstep. She's dreaming of the Dark Moon attack on Crystal Toyko, and she is running, being helped along by four familiar shadowy figures. A UFO blasts them, and they all go flying... She awakens lying in bed, with Mamoru sitting watching her. Using a Tuxedo Mask doll, he talks to her, cheering her up. Chibi-Usa asks about Sailor Moon, and is told that she has no equal. Her stomach growls, and he goes to fix her something to eat. Suddenly there's pounding at the door, and Usagi calls out Mamoru's name. Chibi-Usa uses Luna-P to create a parachute, and dives off of the balcony! Usagi and Mamoru ( wearing an apron ) look down after her. On the street, she desperately uses the key again, and this time a portal appears, but it fails before she can pass through it. Then Rubeus' UFO appears low over the city in plain view to all. Rubeus appears in mid-air overhead Chibi-Usa, calling to the "rabbit", and the Sailor Senshi appear, Mars taking Chibi-Usa again. Mars, Jupiter, and Venus attack, but Rubeus withstands it. Mercury realizes that his ship's power is protecting him. Rubeus counterattacks, sending them all flying. Mars tells Chibi-Usa to run, but she's frozen. Rubeus attacks again, and a force beam from the UFO pins them all down. Mars want to envoke Sailor Planet power to try and counter the beam, but they know they can't resist it for long, not without Sailor Moon. They manage to pull it off, but it is clearly a terrible strain. Mars yells at Chibi-Usa to run again, and Tuxedo appears and scoops her up. Rubeus increases the power, and the four are overwhelmed and pulled up into the UFO, with Tuxedo, Usagi, and Chibi-Usa looking on in horror. Usagi screams at Chibi-Usa and starts to slap her, but is stopped by Tuxedo. Rubeus laughs...
Rubeus' UFO floats over the city. Rubeus calls out to Sailor Moon. She has two hours to give him the ginzuishou and the "rabbit", or her friends die. Usagi, Tuxedo Mask, and Chibi-Usa listen out of sight in an alley. Rubeus vanishes, and the UFO rises up through the clouds. The UFO rises into low orbit. Rubeus is watching the Earth when Esmeraude appears. He shows her the Sailor Senshi hung unconscious on crosses. She wants to know why he hasn't killed them, and he says he expects Sailor Moon to come for then, and then he'll kill her in front of them. Esmeraude laughs and vanishes. Rubeus says he'll show her his power. At Mamoru's apartment, Chibi-Usa is on the balcony, as a shooting star appears overhead ( bad luck in Japan ). Mamoru comes out. Chibi-Usa asks if Mamoru is Tuxedo Mask, which he admits. If Usagi is Sailor Moon, then nothing surprises her any more. She has returned the brooch to Usagi, and can't understand why her key didn't work. Mamoru asks her to tell him what is happening in the future, it worries him and he doesn't know why, but she won't say anything, aside that she needs the ginzuishou. Mamoru becomes angry at her for not trusting them and points out all of Usagi's positive qualities, which makes an impression on her. At the apartment, the TV news reports that the UFO has vanished, but people are worried. Luna asks where Chibi-Usa and Mamoru are, and a distracted Usagi, holding the brooch, replies the roof. Usagi wonders why she has to protect Chibi-Usa, given all these terrible things that have happened since she showed up. Maybe she should just do what Rubeus asked. Luna can't believe she's serious. Usagi says she's just tired, she can't handle these things herself. Usagi goes out on the balcony. She's upset and afraid but pulls herself together. In the old days she'd just run or scream, but this fight she has to face herself. She can't risk Chibi-Usa, but if she brings the ginzuishou maybe Rubeus would lower his guard. She looks up and says she won't let everyone down. She then slips away. Not noticing, the cats discuss what to do. They consider disguising themselves as Chibi-Usa, but this idea is quickly rejected. Mamoru runs in looking for Usagi, as the door is open. They realize what she is going to do, and believe she doesn't have a chance. Then Mamoru realizes Chibi-Usa is gone as well. "Those two are like twins. They're thinking the same thing." On the streets, Usagi transforms. She apologizes to Mamoru, Luna, and Artemis, but this she has to do alone. Rubeus' UFO appears, and he calls out to welcome Sailor Moon and the "rabbit". Sailor Moon starts, and turns to find Chibi-Usa behind her! She wants to go with Sailor Moon, as this is mostly her fault. Before Sailor Moon can do more than argue, they are both caught in the force beam and taken into the air. Mamoru and the cats arrive and can only watch helplessly. [eyecatch] Sailor Moon and Chibi-Usa regain consciousness in the UFO to see Rubeus and the other Sailor Senshi, still on the crosses. Sailor Moon tries to fool Rubeus by claiming Chibi-Usa is really her cousin, not the "rabbit", but he says he'll find out after he's killed her. Rubeus challenges Sailor Moon to fight, and she tells Chibi-Usa to try and help their friends. Chibi-Usa scurrys to one side. The UFO lifts off into space, while Mamoru and the cats look on. Rubeus gets in the first punch. Sailor Moon tries the "Moon Princess Halation" but Rubeus deflects it. He then pins Sailor Moon down with increased gravity, laughing that a special crystal give him more power than her. Chibi-Usa notices that one of the ship's crystals glows when he does so. Rubeus then reverses the gravity so she floats helplessly, noticing through a viewport that they are far above the Earth. Rubeus tells her that they cannot escape. Chibi-Usa runs to the trapped Sailor Senshi, but a force field stops her, the shock of it triggering one of her energy discharges, and Rubeus now know for sure she's the "rabbit". She gets back up and tries again, Rubeus telling her its useless because of the power crystal. Rubeus sends Sailor Moon crashing to the deck again and this time keeps turning up the gravity. "DIE!" But Sailor Moon slowly manages to pull herself up. She tells Rubeus she will free her friends at all costs. Rubeus can't believe it, he's underestimated her. He kills the gravity, and decides to finish her off himself. They both release energy attacks and attempt to overpower the other. Chibi-Usa tries to remove the crystal she noticed earlier, but gets hit by another energy discharge. Rubeus sends Sailor Moon crashing into a wall, and notices Chibi-Usa attempting to remove the crystal. He's about to stop her, when he hears "Moon Princess Halation!" behind him, and just barely manages to deflect Sailor Moon's attack. Chibi-Usa tries the crystal again, and with her own energy discharge manages to remove the crystal, shattering it. Rubeus' power is cut off, and Sailor Moon's attack sends him crashing back. Things throughout the UFO start crashing, and the Sailor Senshi recover, the crosses vanishing. Chibi-Usa and Sailor Moon stumble up to them. Their reunion is cut short by Rubeus laughing. With the crystal shattered, the ship will break up and kill them all. Fire begins to erupt everywhere, engulfing Rubeus and trapping the girls. Escape doesn't seem possible, but Mercury says there's a way, and then Venus realizes she means the Sailor Teleport. Mars objects that Sailor Moon is too weak, and they don't know if they can take Chibi-Usa with them. But Sailor Moon says she can do it, and asks Chibi-Usa to trust her, she's fix pancakes when they get home. The five of them invoke "Sailor Teleport", holding hands in a circle with Chibi-Usa in the center, and they vanish. Rubeus rolls out the fire, and Esmeraude appears. Rubeus, relieved, believes she's there to save him, but she tells him it's better he dies here than return to the future in shame. She vanishes, and Rubeus screams as the UFO explodes. Dawn is breaking as the Sailors and Chibi-Usa appear on the streets, and see the distant explosion. Chibi-Usa reminds Sailor Moon about the pancakes, and everyone laughs. In the future, Esmeraude appears before Demand. She is to take Rubeus' place. She vanishes, and he toasts an image of Serenity, and to getting what he wants.
