Psychiatric Help
Welcome to Susan's Advice and Dream Interpretation Page!
Farbeit from me to offer psychiatric help... seeing as how I'm one Zoloft overdose away from permanent loony-bin residency myself, but if you're brave enough to ask me for advice or dream interpretation, more power to you. Just don't let the aforementioned advice or dream interpretation be the discerning factor on any of your life's biggest decisions. I can't be held responsible.
Today's Question
When your girlfriend leaves the country
Dear  Young and yearning;

Either you need to go with her or forget about it. Trust me on this one.  You give her any leeway and that bitch will be screwing some English guy before you know it.

"No!" You say, "Not her!" YES, HER! How do I know this? One simple factor. The English accent. Everybody knows that  the English Accent is one of the biggest turn-ons to a woman. And there is no way in hell she's gonna yearn to hear your Texan drawl. It just isn't sexy.

You say you "like" her. Grow up and get a pair of balls. How do you really feel? If she wanted to settle down with you, what would you do? My guess is we'd be seeing a cloud of dust.

Regardless of what you decide, remember what I always say:
If you love her, set her free.
If she comes back to you, she's yours.
If she doesn't, tough shit. It's your own goddamned fault for being Mr. Hot-Shot-Non-Commital.

Good luck! :)

Susan
Dear Susan,

I have a girlfriend who's leaving the country for a year to study in England. We've been dating 6 months, and I really like her. But I don't know if I can handle a long distance relationship. She's twenty-one years old, and I'm twenty-three. She's my second girlfriend I've ever had. Should we try to stay together, or let each other date around?

Sincerely,
Young and yearning,
in Yahoo, TX.
