History: Black Mamba began her villainy career as a member of the Serpent Squad hired to obtain the Serpent Crown.  Alongside the Squad, she battled the Thing, Triton, and Stingray, and almost succeeded in killing the heroes.  She was romantically involved with Sidewinder, and as such, obviously agreed to join in his next endeavor, the creation of the Serpent Society.  She proved to be a valuable ally for the Society in several missions, though the group failed to utilize teamwork during their mission to murder MODOK, when Asp accidentally zapped Black Mamba's darkforce energy while it was still attached to her.

When the Viper took over the Serpent Society, Black Mamba remained loyal to Sidewinder, even under threatened punishment of death.  She became close to Diamondback and Asp during her stay in the Society, even aiding Diamondback in her date with Captain America, though she didn't know it at the time.  When Diamondback was accused of treason, Black Mamba stood by her, though she was upset Diamondback didn't care to share that she was dating the super-hero whom had put them behind bars so many times.  When Diamondback was sentenced to death, Black Mamba and Asp remained loyal and helped her escape.  They then formed B.A.D. Girls, Inc, and joined the Femizons for a brief period of time.  They then stuck around and helped Captain America in various missions.

Black Mamba also joined the Masters of Evil under the Crimson Cowl's leadership.  She caused a commotion with the Thunderbolts, but later returned to the B.A.D. Girls.  She also took time out to seduce Hercules under Baron Zemo's orders.  Most recently, Black Mamba has been seen as a member of the Secret Avengers, and she seemed to be friendly with several super-heroes.
