History: An associate of the Viper's, Copperhead was the leader of the fourth Serpent Squad.  Their main duty was to get the Serpent Society to notice them through various acts of crime, which succeeded when they were apprehended by Captain America and his allies during a robbery on a casino in Las Vegas.  Copperhead, while not appearing much, is notable for his intelligence and composure.  While not the strongest villain, he handled himself well in speech and manner.

After they were invited to join the Serpent Society, Copperhead was assigned by Viper, alongside Cobra and Boomslang, to poison the water supply for Washington D.C.  This eventually led to the president turning into a snake-like monstrocity.  During the mission, Copperhead often quarrelled with Cobra, which led to some animosity between them later on.  Though Copperhead was knocked out by Captain America, he stayed with the Society after Viper had left them.  Only for a short time, however, as he left soon after Cobra claimed leadership.  He has not been seen since, and honestly, I doubt we'll ever see him again.
