History: Not much is known about Rock Python, other than he somehow found his way to America from South Africa to become one of Viper's agents.  He participated in the invasion of the Serpent Society, but was taken out early in the fight by Nomad.  Later, he appeared when he, Puff Adder, and Coachwhip did their initation test into the Society, but they were ambushed by the Falcon and Battlestar.  Battlestar eventually grabbed Rock Python and jumped out of a very large apartment complex.  Rock Python survived, but failed the mission.  Cobra allowed the three to join the Serpent Society anyhow.

Rock Python's biggest claim to fame is defeating Captain America and dropping him off a rooftop.  However, orders from Cobra were to not approach Captain America, and instead flee the scene, so Rock Python was never given the opportunity to see if he had permanently defeated his enemy.  He later appeared in the background of most of the Serpent Society issues, but never really played much of a pivotal role.  He usually works alongside Puff Adder, and occasionally Anaconda, and isn't overall the most threatening member of the Serpent Society, as seen when confronted by the X-Men.
