Ieniemienie came to Sesamstraat arround 1980. There was a free room, becauseTroel (an older friend of mine) had moved to her aunt. She started a shop in clothing. She designed a lot and repeared socks and blouses etcetera. Later she didnīt work anymore, because there was a little time to play with her. Always working and working.. That was no fun! In the beginning we saw some clips about her parents. That made her homesick. Later on in the show they disappeared from the screen.
Ieniemienie is the only muppet who hasnīt changed her appearence. in 20 years she is only replaced (for a new puppet) twice. That was because the stiching came off and the cloth began to show aging. Her armes work the same like Bertīs. 5 Years ago she got legs. This was specially made for the 20th birthday of Sesamstraat. Now she could walk, ride a bike and more. Cathrien van Woerden is one of Ieniemienieīs performer. She handels her voice and her head. Lindai Boogerman/ Marieke Koek handels her arms.
								We always like to have a bedtime story before we go to sleep. Everyone from Sesamstraat reads them to us.. even Mr Aart. Instead of listening we like to talk and play the story our selves... Also she and Tommie love to play hide and seek with Pino. But he doesnīt understand the game and peaks a lot. She like to perform theatrical shows and presents (with co-host Tommie) the Sesamstraat quiz.
