After one year reuniting families weīre almost completed!
Big Bird embrassed his cousins with open arms and hopes that they never get out of sight again!
Althoug the familie is spread all over the planet, he hopes Abelardo (at the left) wil visit him on Christmas and Pino (at the right) drops by one easter.
Pino is looking forward too this. "Searching eggs is better when you are with feathered friends!"
When they meet up with Da Niao isnīt sure yet, because they havenīt heard from him since 2001.
Sesamstraat and Milkyway
Januari 2003. On many request back in Planetarium.

In Amsterdam Artis (zoo) Planetarium an old adventure re-starts from our famous Sesamstraatfriends. Pino, Tommie, Ieniemienie and mr. Aart made a trip through the galaxy when mr. Aart tried to fix an old broken car.
They fly helpless through our solarsystem and they only knew what the sun looks like. The problem is that they can find the sun. So how will they get back to earth!
Luckely they make friendship with a little star named Flonkertje. He knows the way back home.

During this slideshow you will get to know all of our planets, stars, the solarsystem and they even land on the moon!
This show was shown in 1992 untill 1996. But now they cleaned and digitalised the film, so the colours and sounds are more beautiful like ever. They added even a new videoclip.
Real fans donīt have to fear, because the rest is just the same as it was before.

You can see the show daily in Artis Amsterdam (april until september 2003).
Sesamstraat in Paradiso
This happened on 23 December 1999. The first real life singing tour from our Sesamstraat friends.
They all went to Paradiso in Amsterdam and performed with real famous Dutch singers.

This performance was to celebrate Sesamstraatīs 25th birthday. The programm was a mix from songa that was originaly performed by; Bert and Ernie, Count von Caunt, Ieniemienie, Tommie, Frank, Pino and many characters more.
For once the Sesamstraat friends performed their songs with famous Dutch artists. And some of the songs were writen by our own Harry Bannink or Hennie Vrienten.

Rumour is that every family who goes on a holidaytrip, has standard 2 Sesamstraat tapes in their car!

Who told you that Big Bird or Pino was old fashion? Do we have news for you!
This year we find a whole new kids fashionline in Paris.

Warm jackets that are inspired by our famous friends from Sesame Street.
The designers worked two years to come up with this new collection of winter clothes.

The jackets are fun and easy to wear. Of course they cost a lot of money, but then again... Who doesnīt like to wear these fluffy feathered jackets to school?
They come with a warm hat and are available in two different colours (yellow and blue).

When the design is available we donīt know yet, but when we do you read all about it in this paper!

I had this link a while, but thought it wasnīt good enough for the sesame times. Well I was wrong...

This link contains two fragments from a Dutch radio show called `Stemgeheimī.... one of them was broadcast october 6 2002. The guest of this show was Rene Menschaar. She plays Pino. This fragment she explains why she played Pino. A fact is that she wanted to play Pino, but wasnīt allowes because  she was a woman. So she had to proof why Pino could be played by a woman, although he always was played by a man!

The other show aired on march 2 2003. Here they talked with Catherine van Woerden and Bert Plagman. They perform Ieniemienie and Tommie.
In this fragment they explain who they are and what their alter egos are. They play them now for almost 24 years.
