A Few Halo tricks I discovered and reported before everyone else!
1: To get 4 Warthogs has proven to be nearly impossible. And since I'm posting this so long after 1st acheving it, I'm sure how I did it. But I'll give it a shot. Play the Halo level on any diffenculty. Kepp EVERY Marine alive and kill Every Covenant enemy. Now do your best to block the marines from entering the Pelicans. This is easier then you think. Once the Pelican leaves continue the level.NOTE: TO make sure that a Pelican shows up with a Warthog, your current Hog(s) must be out of the area and out of sight. When the Last (and 4th) Pelican arrives, there should be a 4th Warthog! You don't have much time before the cutsene starts so have fun with it fast!
2: The second image shows me on the 1st Covie Dropship of the Silent Cortagrapher level. OXM had a 10,000 point challenge if you could do this. Too bad I never submit anything. Anyway, Start the level and kill the Covie to get the Hog and a gunner. Now Go in the opposite direction that you are surppose to go (backtowards where your ship droped you off) and go to the area where you 1st incounter the Hunters. Kill them and get a shiled. Now drive the Hog and gunner up between the Large rock and Tree at the end of that 1st path. Drive backwards towards the lowest part of the cliff. Then get out, jump on top of the Hog and force the gunner out. If done correctly, he should either end up standing on the Gun or back of the Hog. You then jump on him to get to the top of the cliff. Now make a right and run straight towards the building that has the main entrance to the cave. From above you should see Covenant and their Dropship. Toyour left you see a anlged slop w/ no grass and trees below it. Staying to the right and above a ligt green tree, slip down. Your shield might fall. Now in fornt of you is a tall tree w/ a another small light green tree to the right of it and near the ship. Jump to the very top of that tree and face the ship. Now carfully jump down onto the ships top and there you go. If you fall to the ground, use a Plasma granade to push yourself up there.
3: Same as above. But just go into the cave and finish the level.
4: How to Kill Captain Keyes and still continue the game. Play the TandR level as normal. Now before you go save the captain, get the Camouflage and take take out the Gold Elite (from behind) and the Sleeping Grunts. And kill ONLY ONE Camouflaged Elite! Go Open the cells and enjoy watching the Marines hit themselves and tease the Elite. Very Funny. While they are taunting the poor Elite, go kill the captain anyway you wish. Blast his body all the way to your guarding marines if you wish. But as soon as the Last Elite dies, a Marines will ALMOST use the "S" word (normally stopped mid-sentance by the captain) and the original cell room cut-scene will start. That's How you kill Kykes and continue the game.
5. I was the first to find AND announce paint mistakes in Halo! Most gonna list them all because there are a lot. So Here are a few easy easy ones to find.
Play Assult on the Control Room Level and play through until you get to the section where you leave the marines for pick up. There should be 2 bridges above you and a cut in the ground to which you are standing. Walk down there and go the the end of the entrance to your left. By the door you should see part of the wall painted light blue. Another painting mistake is at the begaining of 2 betrayals. Once you get the banshee, fly it back to the control room. Near a light to your left you will find a even bigger bloe area! Youy can also see it from the bridge. If you have the banchee, then fly down to the light and leave your vehical in the light. Now look up and you will see a round black circle that can only ber seen from that spot (there's one above each light) Now you can hop up to floor and inspect the blue paint.
6. Play Two betrayerals as normal. After crossing one of the bridges, you will find a group of Flood Spores eating a Elite and Grunt. DON"T FIRE! Instead, walk up to them. You can to get as close as you want and they down't attack! I discovered and reported this first as well.
7. Also first to reveal how everyone can get a Close up view of a live Flood Spore! Play 2 Betrayerals on any difficulty. At some point you'll have to cross a bridge. After entering the door on the other side you come to another door that opens revealing about 7 Spores eating a elite and Grunt. DO NOT SHOOT! Instead, walk or run up to them. You ill be able to get as close as you want with out them attacking! You will also learn that they are acturally watching the dorr and can be walked through. If playing Co-Op, then have one player stand behind the and try to dance (move up and down, etc). And have the other player watch from the doorway. Turn on your favorite music and it looks like they are all dancing to it. LOL! pretty funny when you see it. But a granade throw or gun shot will send them after you. But if you do it to one of them in their dance state, then they will all die. Have Fun! |
