Inuyasha and co. run into 3 demon monkeys who are causing trouble. They tell them that their monkey god has disapppeared and they don't know what to do.
Inuyasha comes to the future with Kagome and saves a little boy from a fire which gets him on TV even though Kagome told him to keep a low profile. Inuyasha wears a baesball cap to hide his dog ears so no one notices.
Souta has a crush on a girl and tells Inuyasha and Kagome. Inuyasha and Kagome help Souta out with the girl and Souta gets his first date.
A rat demon pretending to be a spiritualist is trying to get rid of the black Kirara, but mistakes Sango's Kirara for the one it wants. So now Inuyasha and co.. have joined the fight to save Kirara.
Kikyo runs into a girl who was also reserected by Urasue. The girl wishes to die and doesn't appericate Kikyo giving her souls to survive. Inuyasha runs into another person revived by Urasue who is attacking villages with clay soldiers he makes. This episode explains the purposes behind Urasue's creations.
There is a priest the going around seducing village girls and for some reason the villagers are blaming Miroku. But Miroku turns out to be inoccent because it was Hachi pretending to be Miroku.
The group meet a priest who tells them that demons have been creating fake Shikon no Tama's. (Sacred Jewels)
They find a boy in a empty village since all the rest of the villagers have vanished.
The priest Inuyasha and co. met turns out to be a half demon. He is a strange half demon because he is human by day and half demon by night, not like Inuyasha who is half demon almost all the time. The Toad demon from an earlier episode is back and eating people. The half demon was the one making the fake Shikon Jewels and plans to make real one by uses Inuyasha and co. for the 4 souls of Shikon and uses Kagome's real shards as the heart of it. Inuyasha for the wild/brave/courage soul. Miroku for the wisdom/calm/power soul. Sango for the love/heart soul. Shippo for heart/royalty soul. Kagome's purity is the center and holds the other souls to together in harmony.
Jaken is poisoned by Naraku's insects and Rin goes to find Jinenji to get an antidote for Jaken. Sesshomaru seeks out Inuyasha to see if he knows where Naraku is. Rin gets into danger and Sesshomaru saves her an brings Rin and her antidote to Jaken. Which makes Jaken think Sesshomaru saved him and not Rin. (Poor Rin)
Kirara dissappears one morning and Shippo tells its everybody else's fault because they were mean to Kirara and everybody has these flashbacks. Later Kirara shows up with Myouga who had told Shippo to tell Inuyasha and the others that Kirara was going to Toutousai to bring a sharpening block for Tetsusaiga. Shippo forgot and Inuyasha starts beating him up without Kagome there to save him.
Kikyo and Kagome are drawen to a strange cave and get trapped inside together. Kagome decides to help Kikyo and carries her to the heart of the cave. Kagome shoots arrows at the heart of the demon cave, but they don't hurt it at all. Kikyo who is really weak tells Kagome to get the shards. Kikyo & Kagome use their powers to together to fuse the jewel shards as one. Kagome shoots the heart with the jewel shard and the cave evaporates into the air. Kikyo asks Kagome why she didn't just leave her there to die. Kagome says cause someone would miss you. Kikyo goes away. Inuyasha shows up all paniced cause Kagome had been gone so long.
Rin and Jaken go to the river and meet the wolves that were the one's that killed Rin and are owned by Koga. Koga 's friend are there too. Jakne and the wolfmen have this idiotic stand off with each other. Sesshomaru appears and the wolves high tail it out of there. Wolves tell Koga about Sesshomaru. Koga meets Sesshomaru in the forest. Everyone assumes Sesshomaru will kill Koga for Koga's wolves killing Rin. Sesshomaru kills a demon attacking Koga. Koga kills a demon attacking Rin. The demons go on there way apparently even.
