(Saturday: AN: I forgot about school day’s when I was writing the last chapter so this chapter happens on the weekend after the drinking thing, so Kagome’s and Yasha’s date was on Friday ^^ )
Sess paced his apartment slowly. He held a paper up in the air and was reading it slowly. His small glasses were pushed down his nose, and his thin golden eyes were narrow. He ran a hand through his black hair and stopped at his neck. Rin watched her adoptive father pace the room.
“Papa?”
“Yeah?”
“Why are you walking back and forth?” she asked him.
He sighed and rubbed his temples. “I’m frustrated,”
“Fur-us-tate-ted?” she said trying out the words.
He sighed again. She went over to him and tugged at his leg. He bent down and picked the little girl up. She smiled and buried her head on his shoulder. He pulled the paper out and began to read again, still pacing.
...I watched him move around the room, fear filling my heart every time he made it to the other side. The fear in my heart swelled. Every step he took made the pounding in my heart grow louder and louder. I tired to drone out the pounding in my ears, but it wouldn’t leave. Then I saw the door open. Slowly, as if it didn’t want to disturb his pacing. The pacing stopped and he waited for the intruder to enter.
A shadow entered the room and the door slowly closed. The man pulled the shadow into the light. He was tired of the games. He wanted to shadows face to be seen. I covered my face.
A fragile woman’s voice filled my ears. Her voice was soft and beautiful. It was like a sweat melody on a rainy day. Or the white flag during a surrender. But the man’s harsh voice covered hers. Her sweat melody couldn’t be heard. It was covered by the loud harsh wind. It was destroying and killing the melody.
The woman’s voice was dead. The wind took over again. Fear filled my body again. I ran, but I knew I could never outrun the wind. He swooped down like an eagle and trapped me again, like he has done so many times...
Sess dropped the paper on the floor and sat down on his couch. He touched Rin’s head and looked at her. Because of his pacing she had fallen asleep. He touched her head again and gently placed her on the couch. He found his shirt somewhere on the floor and draped it over her body. He watched her breath slowly in and out. Her chest moving up and down. He got up and pulled a t-shirt over his chest. He noted the hole in it and made a note to get it fixed. He went over to the phone and rang for the woman next door.
“Hello?” an older voice answered.
“Yea, hi it’s me Sess,”
“Oh Sess, how are you, and Rin?” the kind voice asked.
“Good, good. Listen I have to go out, could you watch Rin for a bit?” he asked.
“Oh yes, I would love too,”
“She’s asleep so you don’t have to do much. I just want you here just in case she wakes up or ahs a nightmare...” he said trailing off.
“I see I see, do not worry, I will watch her.” She said. “It’s such a shame such a small kind girl is plagued with such nightmares,” she added.
“...I know...” Sess said softly and hung up with his neighbor.
After a few minuets she came over and Sess left. He hopped on his motor cycle and started down the street. He stopped at a small bar he usually goes to and parked his bike. After pulling back his hair he entered the bar and took his usual seat. A man next to him grunted.
“How’s life treating you?”
“Not so well right now,” Sess said.
A bartender came up to him and got him a drink. He drank most of it and turned back to the man.
“How about you?”
“My wife finally left,” he answered.
“Really?”
“Yeah, went to her mothers.” The man answered and stretched. “I guess it doesn’t really matter, her family hated me anyway,” he said taking another sip of his beer.
Sess could obviously see the man was upset and starting to get drunk. But he said nothing and went back to his beer. Once he emptied it he bought one for himself and his friend.
“Thanks bud,” he said clanging their glasses together.
Sess nodded and took another sip. “So what’s your problem?” the man asked him.
Sess shrugged. “Nothing,”
“Really? You only come here when you have a problem,” the man answered.
“Can’t a man go and get a drink?”
“Not here,”
“What about you? You’re here about every day,” Sess said.
“I have a lot of problems,” the man said grinning.
Sess shrugged again and sipped his beer. The man’s face went serious. “I hate to see you with problems though,”
He raised an eyebrow. “Really,”
“No, no, I’m serious. You have that cute little girl, what her name...”
“Rin,”
“Yeah Rin. You have a good job, and a nice apartment. The only thing you need is a wife and you would be set,”
“Feh, I like the single life. I don’t need a woman,” Sess said.
“I don’t see why you wouldn’t go for one; I mean you’re great looking. You turn heads everywhere you go,” the man said and took another sip. “You like men then?”
Sess shrugged. “I don’t really care; I haven’t seen anyone that’s really interested me...
Sess said trailing off.
His mind wandered to Yasha. The man looked at him and smirked. He set down his beer and crossed his legs.
“You have a thing for someone,”
Sess raised an eye. “Really? You think so,”
“Yeah, it’s really obvious,” the man said and took a sip. “If you liked me so much you should have said so,” he said.
Sess narrowed his eyes at him. The man laughed. “I was kidding. I know you don’t like me,” he said.
Sess nodded and turned his head. He stared into his drink for a while and started to stir it. He looked back at the man ho was busy drinking himself.
“I can’t stop thinking about him...” Sess started.
The man looked at him. “So it is a man huh?”
“I’m not sure if you’d call him a man...” he muttered.
“So, you have a thing for a ten year old,”
Sess rolled his eyes. “You’ve got some mind. No it’s not a child, but he acts like one.” he said.
“Ah I see,” the man said. He paused and had the bartender fill his drink again. “Student huh?” he said.
Sess remained silent. The man chuckled. “So did you put the moves on him?”
Sess shook his head, the man chuckled louder. “He was hitting on you? Wow, kids these days. Awful forward huh?” he said.
Sess shook his head. “He was drunk,”
“Really? You tried to get him drunk and instead of you making the first move he surprised you and jumped you instead?”
Sess rubbed his temples. “Hardly, For some reason I took him out to lunch and I followed him to his apartment, and before I knew it he was drunk as hell and trying to molest me,” he said.
The man laughed again. “Wow, and you turned him down? Most people would have jumped on that as soon as they could have,”
Sess growled. “Exactly, I couldn’t touch him...” he muttered.
The man nodded and looked at his friend seriously. “You really have a thing don’t you?”
Sess didn’t answer. He got up from his barstool and started to leave. The man waved his glass.
“Come on! Let drink the night away!” He shouted.
Sess shook his head. “I have to get back to Rin,” he said.
The man gave him a sad smile. “Guess so then...”
Sess waved at his friend and made his way to his bike. He heard some noises from a nearby ally. He slowly waked over to it and listened in. It was silent. He listened again. Suddenly a faced popped out from the shadows. Sess jumped back and saw who it was. His eye’s narrowed.
“You’re Yasha’s friend...how could I forget you...” the voice said slowly.
Sess watched Naraku slowly walk out of the shadows and face Sess. Sess glared and at him and he chuckled. Naraku was now dressed much nicer then when he saw him last. His shirt was buttoned and tucked in even. His hair was still messy but was pulled back in a nicer pony tail. Naraku leaned against the wall.
“We’re at the same bar...how interesting,”
Sess turned his head and made his way back to his bike. Naraku followed him and touched its smooth exterior. Sess growled and Naraku moved his hand. Naraku slowly traced his hand to Sess’s face.
“You seem so frustrated, please let me help you,” the dark voice said.
Sess moved away from the touch and again glared at Naraku. Naraku grinned. With out warning Naraku grabbed the smooth face and kissed him forcefully. Sess went into shock but then pulled away from the strong grip on his face. He panted and rubbed his lips.
Sess glared at him, Naraku touched his lips. “Not as soft as I pictured, Yasha is much softer...” Naraku whispered.
Sess froze and glared at the man in front of him. “What did you say?” he said slowly.
“If only he wasn’t so young...” he said licking his lip. “Such a nice figure don’t you agree?”
Sess growled and started his bike. Naraku laughed and continued. “Such soft skin and pretty hair...”
He jumped off his bike and let it crash to the ground. Naraku jumped back a bit startled,
and Sess grabbed his shirt collar. Naraku laughed a bit and smirked at him.
“What? You can’t have him either,” he said slowly.
Sess kept his mouth shut and punched him across the face. Naraku fell to the ground with a loud smack. He slowly got up and rubbed his cheek. Sess glared at him and picked up his bike. He got back on a glared at the fallen Naraku.
“Why would I want him, he’s just a child,” he hissed out and sped off.
@~’~~,~~
Yasha awoke the next morning to the sound of his phone ringing. He muttered something and grabbed the phone.
“Hello?” he muttered.
“Whoa, sorry. Didn’t mean to wake you up,”
“Miroku?” Yasha asked sleepily.
“Yeah it’s me, what are you doing today?”
“I never gave you my number,” Yasha blurted out.
“I looked it up, the school list’s them,” he answered. “So what are you doing?”
“Nothing I suppose,” Yasha said rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
He got out of bed and rubbed his arm. “Good, then you and me can hang out,” Miroku said.
Yasha grinned. “Ok then, what do you want to do?”
“Don’t know; just meet me at the comic store by the school in like an hour ok?”
“Fine, is it the one with the weird sign?”
“Yeah, but it’s a great store,” Miroku answered.
“Fine see ‘ya then,”
Yasha hung up and began looking for a clean shirt. He rummaged through the piles and swore loudly. ‘Damn, I forgot to do the laundry,’ he thought to himself. He shrugged and pulled some random T-shirt from the pile on the floor. He kept the same pair of pants he wore last night to bed and set off for the comic shop.
After taking a few buses, he made it to the shop. He looked around the small shop. ‘I wouldn’t say shop, I’d say more stand.’ He thought.
It was held together by two thicker metal pipes, and a small tent over. There was a small book case that held the comics, and another one next to it that held magazines. Yasha bent over and read through some of the magazines, he looked inside to see if anyone was there.
“Hello there young man,” a small voice said.
Yasha backed up a bit. It was an old woman. She was short in size, and very wrinkly. But she offered him a kind smile. He blinked at her.
“Would you like to buy something young man?” she asked sweetly.
Yasha looked at the magazine he was holding. “No, I was just looking,” he answered and dropped the magazine.
Suddenly an arm wrapped itself around Yasha’s neck and caught him in a head lock. Yasha gasped out for air and looked up.
“M..iro...ku....can’t...breath...” Yasha gasped out.
“Heh, sorry Yasha.” Miroku said letting go of Yasha. “Better?”
“Yeah thanks,”
“Good, come on. We’ll probably end up going to the local arcade, but I want to go by the park first,” Miroku said.
Yasha gave him a look. “What? Why?”
A sly look entered Miroku’s face. “Because...It is where the beautiful Sango spends her Saturdays,”
Yasha smirked. “Oh really, then I guess we must go,” Yasha said.
Miroku smirked and they made their way to the park. Miroku hid behind a tree and looked out at field. There was Sango, sitting behind a tree reading a book. Miroku sighed contently and looked to Yasha.
“This is my chance,” he whispered.
Miroku slowly made his way to Sango. He dipped down and picked up a flower nearby. He walked up behind her and handed her the flower. He smiled at the girl.
“Hello there,”
“Hello...” Sango said slowly closing her book.
His arm reached around and pulled her closer to him. Yasha watched in amazement as she let him do that as he talked about nothing to her. He could see the faint blush on her cheeks. Miroku took the opportunity to lean in a little closer to her. Yasha held his breath. He saw him move into her ear and whisper something in it. She backed away quickly and slapped him on the face. He jumped back from the blow and watched her walk off.
Yasha laughed. “Some luck you had pervert!” he shouted.
Miroku rolled his shoulder. “Yeah, yeah...” he held out his hand to Yasha. “Help me up,”
Yasha snickered but helped his friend. Miroku rubbed his cheek. “The girl can slap hard...”
“That’s what you get!” Yasha said laughing. “What did you say to her anyway?”
Miroku shrugged. “I asked her to bare my child,”
Yasha jumped back. “What the hell?!”
Miroku laughed. “Sorry I keep forgetting you haven’t been here to long. You see I have this thing where I always ask the girls to bare my child,” he said.
“Why?” Yasha asked.
Miroku looked away a bit. Then turned to Yasha slowly. “A joke, I do it as a joke,” he said.
Yasha nodded and left it alone. “I hear you live in an apartment.” Miroku said.
“Yeah, how did you know?” Yasha said.
“Your address, it’s an apartment address. Not a regular one.” He said.
Yasha nodded. ‘For a pervert he’s pretty smart,’ he thought. “It’s not as great as you think; my landlord’s a pervert,”
“Gay?”
“Yeah,” Yasha answered.
The two began to walk out of the park and into the street. They made their way across and started walking by an alley.
“So your land lord hits on you?”
“Yeah pretty much,” Yasha said.
“Can’t you sue for harassment?” Miroku asked.
“I have no money for that, plus he’s lowered my rent already,” Yasha replied.
Miroku looked at him. “So how do you pay for the apartment?”
“I usually get after school jobs, stuff like that. My last girlfriends’ family helped pay for my rent, and I got a job. Before I left to come here they gave me enough money to survive for a couple of months. But I’ll have to get a job soon, “Yasha said.
Miroku nodded. “Yeah. College is coming soon, you going?” he asked.
“Maybe, if I pass,” he said. “What about you?”
Miroku looked away again. “Maybe...Probably not...” he said softly.
“Why?”
Miroku looked at him again, but didn’t answer. Yasha stopped by an alley and waited for an answer.
“Well? It’s not you’re dumb,” Yasha said.
Miroku looked away again. Then turned to Yasha. He opened his mouth to say something but was stopped my groans. Yasha paused and listened in.
“You hear that?” he whispered to Miroku.
Miroku nodded. “Uh huh,”
The listened in, the groan came back, only this time louder. Yasha leaned in to look to see who it was. He moved the garbage cans and bags to see a body lying on the ground, bloody and beaten up. Yasha stepped back completely. Shock covered his face. Miroku looked at his friend.
“What? What is it?” he asked him.
“S-Sess...” he hissed out.
@~’~~,~~
“Mr. Hanyou? Hoshi? Your friend is ready to see you now,” the nurse said.
The two boys nodded at the young woman and walked to Sess’s room. Yasha began to mess with his shirt. Miroku noticed this and quirked an eyebrow. Yasha growled and let go of his shirt. The nurse opened the door and let the two boys in.
Yasha looked at Sess. He was sitting upright in bed, shirt off. There were some bandages on his chest and some on his arms. The spot where one of his scars was; was covered in a bandage. He turned his head slowly and faced Yasha and Miroku. Miroku stepped back a bit, for fear of his cool un-caring eyes. Yasha held his ground. He placed his hands in his pockets and looked at him. Sess watched him. Miroku looked at the two and started to whistle. Yasha snapped out of his daze and looked at Miroku. Miroku smirked at him.
“This how I end every awkward entrance,” he said.
Yasha hit him on the head. Sess coughed and Yasha turned quickly to face him. Miroku looked at Yasha’s face and noticed the faint blush that crossed his cheeks. He looked back at Sess and saw him looking at Yasha. He started to leave the room.
“Where are you going?” Yasha hissed.
“Bathroom, I have to go!” Miroku said waving off.
Yasha watched as Miroku left the room. The door slid shut softly and yasha turned to Sess. The watched each other in awkward silence. Yasha made the first move to him. He walked to the bed stand and sat down next to him. He looked Sess in the eyes.
“So what happened to you?” he asked.
Sess narrowed his eyes. “I am your teacher, nothing more,” he said.
Yasha felt a pain in his chest. But he ignored it. ‘He’s right, he is my teacher. But...for some reason I’m getting upset that he won’t tell me,’ he thought.
Yasha leaned in. “What? Trying to convince your self?” he said.
Sess leaned back a bit. Yasha’s jaw dropped. He quickly covered his mouth and backed up a bit. ‘Why the hell did I say that?’ he thought franticly. Sess’s eyes narrowed again, and began to stare a hole in Yasha.
“Convince myself of what? You have a girlfriend right?” he said coolly.
Yasha froze. “Girlfriend?”
“Kagome, you two look...cute together,” Sess said coolly.
“Cute? Together? Girlfriend? Look I went out with her for one night. That doesn’t make her my girlfriend,” Yasha said angrily.
Sess tuned away from Yasha. Yasha growled in the back of his throat and jumped up.
“Listen here! Where do you get off acting all cold to me? I was the one who carried you to the hospital; I was the one who found you!” He shouted.
Sess grunted. “You didn’t have to save me,” he muttered.
“Oh what you can take care of yourself right? You don’t need other people right? God your human, you need other human beings! Someone a little closer to your age, not a litter girl,” Yasha snapped back.
Sess looked at him. His eyes narrowed one more time but Yasha held his position. Sess slowly began to get up, despite his wounds. Yasha rushed forward to help him but Sess growled at him.
“I don’t need your help,” he hissed out.
Sess stood up and held onto the metal frame of the bed. But then collapsed on the ground. Yasha rushed forward again and helped the older an up. Sess grunted but let the younger man help him up. Yasha swung an arm around his waist and pulled Sess’s arm around his shoulders. Yasha grabbed his hand to hold him in place and pulled him close by the waist. Sess grunted and looked Yasha in the eyes.
A blush crossed Yasha’s cheeks. “T-There. Now where were you going,” he said.
“Rin, she must be worried about me,” Sess said.
Just then Miroku entered the room. He gave the two men an odd look. “Am I missing some- “
“Cut the perverted talk, help me get him back into bed,” Yasha said.
“No, I have to get home to Rin,” Sess said.
Yasha faced him. “No! You need your rest,”
“I need to see Rin,” Sess hissed out.
Miroku held his hands up. “Hey, hey calm down. Who’s Rin?” he asked.
Yasha faced Miroku. “His daughter, adoptive daughter,” he said.
Miroku nodded. “Ok then. Since you don’t want him up and he wants to see his daughter, why don’t we bring her to you,” Miroku said.
Yasha thought for a moment then agreed. Sess sighed in defeat. Yasha carried him to his bed and lied him down gently. Yasha crossed his arms.
“There, now what’s your address?” he asked.
Sess sighed again. He found a small piece of paper and wrote down his address. He handed it to Yasha and looked him in the eye.
“Please be careful with her,” he said quietly.
Yasha held the paper with Sess. Their fingers brushed together, Yasha breathed in quickly. Slowly he pulled away from Sess’s touch, but still keeping eye contact. Miroku coughed loudly waking the two out of their stupor. Yasha’s cheeks tinged red again, as he walked to Miroku. Miroku opened the door for him and watched as Yasha gave Sess one last look before leaving the room.
@~’~~,~~
The bus ride to Sess’s apartment was quiet for the two friends. Yasha kept to himself, and watched the scenery outside. His eyes flickered occasionally at people passing by. Miroku closed his eyes and crossed his arms. Almost as if he was meditating. Suddenly his eyes popped open and he reached for the cord to stop the bus. He yanked it quickly and poked Yasha.
“We’re here,” he said.
Yasha blinked and got up. They left the bus and looked at the building. Yasha snorted. ‘Of course it’s nicer then mine, he makes money.’ He thought to himself. They entered the building and clicked the button for the elevator. It went up a few flights then stopped at the fifth. The doors opened and the two walked out. The elevator ride was as silent as the bus ride there. Miroku could think of nothing to say to his new friend.
Miroku pulled out the paper with the number on it and knocked on it. They waited a few moments until an older woman’s voice called from the other end.
“Hello?”
“Hi, my name is Yasha. My friend Miroku and I are gonna pick up Rin and take her to Sess-I mean Mr.Youkai.” he corrected quickly.
Miroku gave him a look. “Please Ms. we are students of him, we were just visiting him. We promised him we’d bring her,” Miroku called out.
Silence met them. The door slowly opened and an old face peeked out. A little girl’s voice called out from the other side.
“Yasha? Papa’s friend!” the voice called out.
The door was opened quickly and a pink blob bounced out and into Yasha’s arms. He coughed out and fell backwards. He picked the little girl back up and held her in his arms. She smiled at him and hugged him. She buried her face into his long hair. He sighed and began to pat her back.
“Yasha is Papa okay?” she asked into his long hair.
His face faltered for a moment. “...Yeah, he’s fine.” He said.
She pulled her face away from his hair and looked him in the eyes. Almost as if she didn’t believe him. He gave her a small smile and she smiled back. The old woman came from behind the door and smiled sweetly at the boys.
“Well if Rin trusts you then I will,” she said. “The girl has always had the best judgment with people.” She said.
Miroku nodded and smiled. “Thank you for trusting us Ms.” He bowed his head. “We will return her safely.” He said.
The woman nodded and made her way to her apartment. She waved at the two boys and went into her apartment.
@~’~~,~~
“Papa!” Rin’s voice cried out.
Yasha held up Sess as Rin ran to him. Yasha helped him bend down and pick Rin up. Rin clung onto her father’s neck. He buried his face into her hair. Yasha watched the touching scene up close. Miroku left earlier, telling Yasha that he’d call him later. Yasha shrugging off his friend was more worried about Sess. Sess pulled away from Rin and she looked him in the eye.
“How did Papa get hurt?” she asked him.
He paused, looking for the right words. “I fell, and had an accident,” he said slowly. “But I will be better very soon,” he added.
Rin sighed in relief and hugged him again. Just then a nurse came into the room and smiled at the two.
“Hello there Rin,” the lady said. “Would you like to come with me and get something to eat?” she asked sweetly.
Rin looked at Sess. He looked the nurse over slowly, checking to see if she was safe, and nodded at Rin. Rin hopped out of Sess’s arms and ran to the nurse. She held her hand out for Rin and Rin grabbed it. Yasha watched the door slowly close then turned to Sess.
“Want me to put ‘ya down now?” he asked.
Sess blinked. “Not unless you want to hold me,” he said.
Red surfaced on Yasha’s cheeks. “I-I’ll set you back down. You need to rest,” he said.
Sess shrugged and let him set him back on the bed. Yasha started to pull back when Sess caught his wrist in his hand and looked him in the eyes. The blush wouldn’t leave Yasha’s face. His breathing began to become faster.
Sess stared into Yasha’s violet eyes. A lovely shade, that any man or woman would be jealous of. His face normally gruff and taunting was now almost child like. The look of embarrassment and lust made his beauty stand out more.
“Someone attacked me,” he said slowly.
Yasha paused. “Who?”
“I’m not sure, just some thugs I guess. I was riding away from the bar I usually go to and decided to stop and get Rin some candy. When I came out of the store I saw some guys trashing my bike,” he said. “I threw the bag at the one guy’s head and he fell. Then the other two attacked me. I got them off pretty easily. But then there was another guy I didn’t see who got me from the back. He cut me in the face and then punched me.”
Sess paused to touch his face with his free hand. He began to pull at the bandage. Yasha made a noise to protest but Sess ripped it off with one quick motion. Yasha winched at the noise but looked at his face. He could see the fresh scar on his face, just below the first one. Sess touched it and smirked.
“Funny, it’s below the first one.” He commented to himself. “After that they started kicking me. I blacked out after that. I was lucky the mini mart guy stopped them by calling the police. The doctors said I would have died if he didn’t,” Sess said.
Yasha’s hands trembled. “Bastards...” he muttered.
Sess turned to face him. His free hand reached out and touched Yasha’s face. Yasha’s blush grew wider. He began to move his thumb around Yasha’s face but then pulled back quickly. Yasha’s eye’s widened and he snarled.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing? Are you just toying with me?! One moment you’re fighting with me then the next you’re letting me help you and now...” his voice faltered. “You touched me so gently...I’ve never felt anything so nice...” he said in a whisper.
Sess watched the boy again. “Do you want this...?”
“What?”
“You realize everything you said that one night, you were drunk. Also we have barely known each other. We spent one day out together...” he paused. “I have a daughter,” he added.
Yasha leaned in. “I don’t know, I don’t even know what I’m feeling.” He said. The blush still remained on his face. “But I...”
“You what?”
“I want you...to...”
Sess pulled close to Yasha and began to stroke his cheek again. Yasha’s eyes began to droop. Sess placed his forehead on Yasha’s and looked him in the eye.
“I want you to...” Yasha breathed out slowly.
Yasha slowly leaned in and gently kissed Sess on the lips. Sess watched him in silently, not doing anything at first then reacting to the kiss. He could feel the passion and love that Yasha was giving him. It was timid and soft on Yasha’s part but Sess let him control it. Yasha became a little braver and began to nip at Sess’s bottom lip. Sess immediately reacted and took over. He forced his tongue in Yasha’s mouth and began to explore around.
“S-Sess...” Yasha moaned out.
Yasha’s arms reached around and began to grip onto Sess’s shoulders. Sess’s hands held their firm grip on Yasha’s face. His thumbs began to slowly rub his cheeks. Yasha’s roaming hands also began to rub his shoulders. Sess groaned into the heated kiss and began to pull Yasha closer to him.
“Papa?”
Yasha quickly pulled away. He whipped around and was faced to face with the nurse and Rin. The nurse was bright red, while Rin held a look of pure confusion on her face. She pointed at her father.
“Why’s Papa kissing Yasha?” she asked the nurse.
The woman ignored Rin’s question. “S-Sir...I am very sorry! I didn’t mean to just...walk in...I-I” she stuttered.
Yasha’s face went completely red. He leaned back onto the bed and covered his face. He didn’t say anything at first but after a little bit he began to chuckle. Sess closed his eyes for a moment then opened them again.
“...When will I be able to go home?” Sess asked.
@~’~~,~~
Rin held her father’s hand, with Yasha supporting him, and helped Sess to his apartment. Yasha pulled out the key and opened the door. Once the door was open Yasha and Rin helped him in and set him on the couch. Rin jumped on the couch and turned to her father. He touched her shoulder and leaned in.
“Could you go get my mug?” he asked her.
She nodded and ran off. Yasha watched her run to the small kitchen and disappear behind the door. He stood there for a moment not moving. He heard a small grunt from down below him. He turned and faced Sess. Sess motioned for him to sit and he sat down beside him. At first he was a little farther way, kind of awkward after their kiss in the hospital room.
“You didn’t seem so awkward before,” Sess said to him.
A blush came across Yasha’s cheeks. Sess leaned into Yasha’s face and looked him in the eye.
“I need to know, do you want this?” he said softly. “You must decide now, if not then we can just forget this whole thing and I’ll give you a new English teacher,”
Yasha looked down. ‘Yeah that’s right; it would be awkward if I stayed in his class.’ He thought. He looked at Sess’s face again. ‘But for some reason...I hate the thought of that...Of just not being with him...’
Yasha moved closer to Sess’s face. He gently reached out and touched the scars along his cheek. Sess’s eyes closed and he shuddered at the touch.
“I...don’t want to be without you...” Yasha said slowly. This being the first time he’s been gentle since Kikyo. “I-I haven’t let out my emotion’s since my last girlfriend...In fact I’ve never been with a guy,” he stated truthfully.
“But…I can’t really think of being without you…” Yasha said.
Sess touched Yasha’s hand that touched his cheek. He brushed his fingers across his and pulled them away. He pulled the hand to his lips and gently kissed them. The blush on Yasha’s faced came back. Sess began to kiss each finger slowly, one by one. Emotions swirled in Yasha heart. Yasha began to breathe heavier. Sess kissed the palm of his hand and looked into Yasha’s eyes. Just then Rin popped in the room with a mug filled with water.
“Here you go Papa,” she said handing him the mug.
He took the mug gently and began to sip it. Rin crawled onto the couch and into Yasha’s lap. Once she got herself comfortable she looked to her father.
“Is Yasha staying the night?” she asked innocently.
Yasha began to stutter and turn red. Sess smirked. “If he wants too,”
Rin turned to Yasha and stared into his eyes. “Please…” she begged.
Her eyes were wide and cute looking. He could see the slight natural blush in her cheeks. He sighed and lowered his head.
“Yeah, I guess I will…”
“Yay!” she cried out and jumped out of his lap. She started to run to her room, but turned back at him before she entered.
“Don’t worry Yasha! It’ll be a fun sleep over!” she cried out and went into her room.
Yasha sighed again and Sess chuckled. “She gets me with that every time we pass by a candy store,” Sess said.
Yasha smirked. “Well who could resist a face like that,” he said.
Sess nodded in agreement. And the laughter ended. Awkward silence started to fill the room again. Yasha coughed and looked over at Sess. He saw him watching him. Yasha twitched nervously and looked away from the hard gaze. Sess reached over and touched Yasha’s face again. He looked back at Sess and blushed again. Sess leaned in and began to nuzzle Yasha’s neck. Yasha jerked in surprise but then let him do that.
“Nervous?”
“No…”
Sess licked his neck and began to make small bites and kisses at his neck. Yasha jerked again but then slowly began to relax into the gentle touch. He let Sess roam around his neck and start to peck at his collar bone. A small gasp escaped Yasha’s throat. Sess looked up at him and growled.
“S-So where am I sleeping tonight?”
Sess took his face in his hands and pulled Yasha to him. Yasha’s eye’s started to close. Sess leaned in and licked Yasha’s lips.
“With me,”
