Chapter Two
"Is she?"
"Calm down InuYasha" Kaede said as she brought warm towels into the room. Kagome lay on a mat on he floor and InuYasha walked around the room in confisuon, nervousness and anticipation.
"Are you?" InuYasha asked Kagome. She opened her eyes as Kaede used a wet washcloth to pat her head.
"Yes."
"Is it happening?"
"Not yet"
"Calm yourself, InuYasha. Ye need to have patience. It will happen in its own time."
"When?" InuYasha ignored Kaede.
"Soon.."
"It will not be much longer now, InuYasha. Have a seat, ye are making me nervous."
Shippo, Sango, and Miroku were standing at the door. Kirara was sitting on Sango's shoulder.
"How soon?"
"Now!" Kagome screamed and balled her hands into fists.
"Whats happening?"
"She is going into labor."
"Whats that?!" InuYasha screamed.
"Shes having the baby now, InuYasha." Said Sango from the door as she turned to walk away. She wasnt ready to see something like this. Miroku seemed to feel the same way and he left saying something like 'Let me know how it goes'. Only Shippo stayed. He walked into the room and took it upon himself to be the one to keep Kagome's washcloth wet and cool. InuYasha started walking in a circle nervously, asking what was happening now every other minute.
"Ye are going to put a hole in my floor if ye do not calm yourelf, InuYasha." He kept pacing anyway.
Moments later Kagome was pushing.
"Just keep pushing and breathing, Kagome. It'll be alright. Ye are doing fine."
"Push what? Wheres the kid coming from? THERE? Thats too small... I barely fit in there... Can a baby fit through there? Whats happening now? Wheres all this blood coming from? Old woman what the hell are you doing to her? Whats going on?! Is she hurt?! Answer me! Shes hurt! Is it happening? Oh my Gods! Shes ripping!! Do something!! What's happening now?! Is that it? Someone answer me! Shes getting hurt! What the? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" As he saw the baby coming out, he hyperventilated and fainted. Shippo looked to Kaede as if asking what he should do.
"He will be fine. Ye just worry about keeping Kagome cool. Its better now anyway. Push, Kagome. The baby is almost out."
