Chapter Two
Catriona slapped the monk's hand from her leg before she rose to her feet from the rock she'd been sitting on & walked back to the village. I'm going to find that stupid hanyou & kill him for dragging me into this time! Ever since I got here that stupid Miroku guy keeps flirting with me & asking me to bare his child, well I got news for him, I AIN'T HAVIN' A DAMN KID! Catriona thought to herself as she reached the border of the village where Inu Yasha was chasing Shippo around Kagome, screaming something about cutting the fox demon's head off. They stopped when they almost ran into her & Inu Yasha saw the death glare she was giving him. He yelped when she grabbed him by his ear. "Either get your friend to leave me alone or I'm going to give you a worse beating than I already have planned, got it?!"
"Yes, just let go!" Inu Yasha whimpered, grabbing her wrist while trying to free his innocent ear from her angry grasp. He could almost swear he heard the base of his ear popping from the tug.
Kagome stared at her friend, not expecting her to be so brave to treat Inu Yasha with such force when she had no protection, let alone the "sit" protection Kagome had against him. "Was Miroku bothering you again?" she asked, walking to her friend who finally let go of the hanyou's ear.
Catriona groaned, nodding. "He follows me out there then starts rubbing my leg & asking me the same damn question. I'm tellin' ya Kagome, I'm gonna whack him with that staff of his right between the legs if he keeps bothering me," she answered, running her fingers through her hair that was down over her shoulders since Inu Yasha had broken the hair tie that held her ponytail up on accident. "Is there anyway to get him to back off?"
"Um," Kagome thought for a moment. "There isn't one that we know of, but if I found out, you'll be the next to know. Okay?"
"Sounds good to me," Catriona grinned, an idea coming to mind. Eh, what could it hurt to give it a try? She thought to herself as her grin turned to a frown as she looked at her hands. "Oh no, my ring's missing! I must have dropped it back at the rock. I'll be right back, okay?"
"Okay, but don't kill Miroku if you run into him, okay?"
"Okay!" Catriona waved as she ran off in the direction she came from, a grin on her face. Truth was, her ring wasn't missing, she'd left it in her bag that morning when she went to the small river to take a bath that morning so she wouldn't lose it in the water. Right where I left him, she thought when she saw Miroku sitting on the rock she'd once occupied. He was so busy looking at his left hand, the one she'd slapped, to notice her until she was sitting next to him. "Miroku?" she softly spoke.
He looked up at her & put his hand in his lap, looking at her with a weary eye. "Yes Catriona?" he replied, surprising her by actually remembering her full first name. He & Kagome were the only ones that actually remembered the correct way to say it while everyone just retreated to calling her Cat or Fiona. Fiona because of her middle name.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for slapping your hand so hard," she apologized while taking the hand in her own & kissing where she'd slapped. "I hope it wasn't too hard of a hit."
Miroku, who had been taken by surprise at her action, looked at his hand, still in hers, then to her face where he met innocent eyes. "It's quite alright Catriona," he said. "I do believe I deserved that one for letting my hand wander too far up your leg... It was pretty close to your...em...yeah..."
"Perhaps it could be there," she grinned, putting her hand on his thigh as she leaned over slightly, her mouth & his ear separated now by only a small space, "or maybe my hand could rest here. Or perhaps you'd like my hand to be further up," she whispered against his ear as her hand moved up his thigh, her fingertips lightly brushing against something confined by his robes. She noticed his eyes go wide from this action & she let her hand slide to the side, lightly stroking his cock through the robes, his eyes slowly dipping closed as his lips parted only slightly. But then she stopped & pulled her hand away. "Oh I'm sorry... You have to resist temptations, don't you?" she grinned before she stood.
Miroku just looked up at her with wide violet eyes that screamed, "Why did you stop?! Why?! Continue, no one will know but us! PLEASE?!" Instead, he responded with, "That's right, I do." Even though I'm this close to just pushing all that from my mind if you'd just touch me like that again, he thought to himself watching her walk to the village.
"Goodbye Miroku, see you back at the village," she waved back to him before disappearing into the trees.

Kagome watched Miroku eye Catriona that night at dinner & she was a bit curious as to why his gaze was so heavy when that morning she'd threatened to make sure he could never have kids. After dinner, Kagome met up with her friend at the river so they could have a late night bath even though the water was freezing. "So Cat, what's up with you & Miroku?" she asked as she slipped into the cold water, her teeth already shivering.
"What do you mean?" Catriona asked, looking at Kagome. "Nothing's going on with us," she grinned, remembering earlier before dinner.
It was before dinner & Miroku was talking with Kaede when Catriona walked past them with one of the village women, talking about something he couldn't pick up on. He excused himself & went to catch up with Catriona, thankful for when the girl excused herself from Catriona & Catriona had turned around, bumping into Miroku. "Sorry Catriona," he smiled, still holding onto her shoulder since his hand had landed there to keep her from falling any. "Didn't mean to bump into you..."
"It's okay Miroku," she smiled, her hand sliding between them to grope the confined member. "It's quiet alright," she winked before moving to the side & walking away. A few moments passed & she heard footsteps beside her. Looking, she saw Miroku was at her side.
"What were you & Aiko talking about?"
"Would you really like to know Miroku?" When Miroku nodded, she grabbed his hand & took him behind one of the huts, lightly pinning him against the structure. "We were talking about the handsome monk that lives here," she spoke, placing a light kiss on his neck, a small gasp escaping him. This was something he wasn't used to. "We were also betting how long it would take for you to bed me..." she arched a brow in a cocky way before she left him, leaving him with wide eyes & a slight erection.
"I'm not aware of anything going on," Catriona added on as she ran her fingers through her now wet hair.
"Are you sure?" Kagome asked. "He was looking at you pretty hard tonight."
"Oh really? I hadn't noticed," she shrugged & proceeded to wash herself with the soap she'd brought from home. "What I wouldn't do for a shower right now," she murmured, causing Kagome to giggle.
"I agree completely."
"So, what are we doing tomorrow?"
"Searching for a few of the jewel shards I told you about. Sometimes I wish I'd just let the damn cat at the well."
