Sesshomaru looked at the little boy as he ran through the garden, being followed by Rin who was trying to catch him, both engaged in the chase game, laughing as they ran. Makoto was 3 years old now & looked more like Takara in his features than Miroku, which was considered a blessing for Sesshomaru & Takara. She came to stand beside him & he looked at her, entwining his fingers with her own. "Why are you outside my dear?" he asked, concern lacing his words. "You should be in bed with your sickness."
Takara shrugged at his words. "It's only a small bug, Sesshomaru," she answered as she gave his hand a small squeeze. "It won't hurt me to come outside & watch Rin & Makoto play," she smiled.
"This is true," Sesshomaru nodded, watching Rin pick Makoto up once she caught him. He chuckled & looked at Takara. "I?ve noticed you've got the same smile you've had for the past few days... Why?"
"I don't know," she replied, "I just feel a little too happy lately."
"I know why you've been so happy my dear," he smiled, letting her hand go to run his fingers through her hair. "Would you like me to tell you?"
Takara snickered. "So now you know my emotions & they're causes?" She grinned. "Okay then, tell me why I've been so happy 'oh great youkai Lord'," she said with a giggle.
He leaned his face to the side of her head & kissed by her ear. "You're with child," he said before he licked her ear & called for Rin & Makoto to come inside as he turned, walking back to the castle. It was a few moments before Takara followed after.
