It wasn’t suppose to go this way, he wasn’t suppose to be in the arms of his brother, holding on tight while a mound kept their waist apart, yet it happened. The summer season when it all begun had already turned to the snowy season, everything was changing. His normal cult of friends had left, giving up on the half-demon that went through unwanted changes.

His brothers trusty slave had left also for the same reason, yet a letter arrived in the mail stated fully well he had learned his lesson. Little Rin was more than happy for the addition of her small family; she was already standing outside the door, waiting to pounce the half-inu.

However, that wasn’t how it all started. They hadn’t always been a happy family. The war started between them, seven months before, it all had started when Inu-Yasha was in heat, his first rutting ever.

The scent ruined the usual fresh scent around the woodland area as the inu walked towards his friends in his usual gruff mood. Kagome was riding her bike slowly up the hill, Shippou sitting in her basket and playing the wind. Miroku was walking up front, speaking about the demons that ran in the area, his smile wide as he quickly touched Sango’s rear before running further ahead. Sighing, Inu-Yasha jumped upon the branch of a tree, jumping slowly along them to follow.

Crows made their presence know, the demons flying around him, and all the half-inu did was flick the bird away. It could smell him, attracted to him. “Caw,” it hissed, it’s claw coming out from its foot to prepare attacking the half-demon.

Jumping down, Inu-Yasha thrusted his claw up at the bird, slicing it in half. The bird fell upon the ground, both sides collapsed upon the ground, the demon panting softly before continuing to jump around on his branches.

He stopped suddenly as a scent hit his nose, eyes staring up as a flock of ‘caws’ broke his concentration, facing the flock of black; Inu-Yasha fell upon the ground, staring up. His tough-guy attitude washed out of him as the all flew towards him. Everybody turned to face, long enough to see the crows begin to attack Inu-Yasha.

“Take out the Tetsusaiga!” Kagome yelled, but Inu-Yasha ignored her. Kicking the offending birds, he could fell their talons cup his rising erection, another scent, theirs, replacing the one his body was making. As Inu-Yasha bit his lip to hold in a moan, the wind captured around him, blowing away the offending birds, then vanished. Sango and Kagome ran over to him, checking if he was okay, Shippou sat next to him, looking the inu over.

“Why didn’t you fight back?” The fox asked, watching as Inu-Yasha breathed in quickly.

“I want to know also,” Kagome snarled at him, “I’ve seen you fight those before, why didn’t you!?” She grabbed his hand, helping him to his feet, just in time to see Shippou cover his nose.

“Yuk, you smell Inu-Yasha, like those birds and something else.” He stepped back, Kagome sniffed the air, sensing nothing, and she shrugged it off. The other two humans followed in suit, also shrugging it away as they continued.

A shunned laughter made them all turn, facing a tall figure who stared Inu-Yasha over intently. “He smells positively beautiful.”

Glaring, Inu-Yasha stepped back once. “You stay away.” Kagome stepped near him.

Miroku stood tall, facing their visitor. “Sesshoumaru, what are you up to?” He glared as Shippou protected himself behind Sango.

Inu-Yasha frowned, leaning back against the wall. “What do you want?”

“Dear little brother, I want what the crows and others want. It kills the fact your still walking at the moment. You almost lost it a few seconds ago, but I won’t let you get away.”

Stepping back again, Inu-Yasha growled, Shippou’s nose quirked in the air, inhaling the new scent. “Now it smells even funnier!” He cried, and Inu-Yasha flicked the child off.

Pulling upon the beads around his hand, Miroku held it out, growling. “Leave us alone!” He yelled, but Sesshoumaru ignored him, walking closer to his brother. A soft musk hit all of the humans hard, their eyes growing closed as each collapsed upon the ground, Jaken and Rin running out with the sleeping weeds that had been processed in the air. “We did it!” They yelled, and Sesshoumaru excused them, his body getting closer to his brother.

The half-inu stared over his brother, his arms pressing upon a tree where he placed his back. “Sesshoumaru, don’t g-get any closer.” The half-inu begged, his blood washing to his groin. The older demon pressed their groins together, watching his brother fall into his arms with a moan. The half-demon pressed his nose into his older brother’s neck, inhaling the mating scent, his body melting in the half-brother’s arms.

Sesshoumaru tilted his brother’s head, lips pressing against the dazed inu’s chaste lips. Pulling back, he kissed the boy’s forehead, stepping back. His brother did as instinct said, legs falling down, he went to his knees, eyes half-lidded. Finger’s playing with his pants tie, they dropped down his thighs, giving access to his brother.

The older demon leaned forward, pressing into his brother with one quick thrust, and the demi-inu cried out, soft whimpers escaping his lips. He sounded like a hurt dog, yet in minutes the whimpers became purrs. With each escaping breath, Sesshoumaru had to hold onto his brother’s hips so he didn’t lose control.

Pulling out of the inu, Sesshoumaru slammed in, his thrust returning to a quick pace, watching as Inu-Yasha cried out. Pushing back against the older demon, Inu-Yasha voice fell into pants, his body aching as he held himself up.

Neither knew what was happening as they sunk into the fiery passion. Lips claiming each other, mating as other animals did. With one last thrust, the full demon released in his brother before pulling out and leaving.

Falling upon his back, Inu-Yasha stared his brother’s fleeing form before falling into a deep sleep, no longer feeling the heating that had bothered him for that day. For once, he felt fulfilled.

Inu-Yasha groaned awake, his torn body completely sitting up long enough to be pushed back down, Kagome staring him over with wide eyes. “What happen Inu-Yasha!?” She cried.

“Hu-uh?” The half-demon whispered, unsure of what she was talking about.

“When we woke up, you were naked and bloody by the tree. Did you fight Sesshoumaru?” Shippou cried out, watching as Inu-Yasha’s face paled, body tensing on the ground as he felt Miroku clean his thighs.

“H-Hey!” He yelled, jerking as the monk backed off. “I’m okay, stop crowding me!” He stood up, shaking himself off. Sango handed him his pants as he got redressed before jumping in a tree, staring down bewildered.

“What’s wrong, Yasha?” Sango stared up, watching as the half-demon stared down upon them.

Ignoring them, the half-demon turned his shoulder, sleeping on his side, fingers cradled upon his stomach as the memory of what Sesshoumaru did to him repeated in his head. The stars brightened upon him as a stray tear escaped his eye before completely falling asleep.

A month, since that fateful day, and Inu-Yasha was feeling horrible. The new moon was in the sky, black hair flowing down his back as he walked towards the bushes before leaning down. The lamb he ate was backing up, and he knew it as it came up suddenly. Placing his hands on his belly, a sigh escaped his lip.

The process of ‘mate and bitch’ had been going around the demon society for years, but it felt strange to him that his own brother would want such a thing. The knowledge clouding his judgment that his younger brother was all ready prepared to bare children.

Inu-Yasha coughed again, hand on his stomach, eyes closed deep before sitting back.

"Inu-Yasha! We're in Sesshoumaru's land! If he finds us here, he'll kill us!" Shippou cried out as the tired team walked towards the other side of the woods, but Inu-Yasha ignored him. He had meant to go through his brother's land; he was going to talk to his mate.

Slowly strolling along with her bike, Kagome panted as she slammed on her brakes. "He's right! I'm not going somewhere that your brother could easily kill us!" She took in a deep breath. It was only them, since Miroku and Sango had both gone to a nearby village a week before.

The half-inu sniffed the air, walking towards a tree to get the exact scent of his brother. A finger rested upon his flat stomach, a fluttering in his heart at the thought of his child. "Stop crying." He started walking again, eyes pealing upon his brother's large castle.

"God! Ever since Sesshoumaru's last visit, you've been acting like a big jerk. Always running off, and eating very little." Kagome placed her hands on her hips as she followed Inu-Yasha through the tree, Shippou on her shoulder.

Staring up, Inu-Yasha took in a deep breath as he used his scent to call his mate. Shippou stared at him with wide eyes, covering his nose. "Man, Inu-Yasha, start taking baths!"

Glaring, Inu-Yasha deepened his scent, staring up at the castle. He could smell it; his brother was running his way. Taking in a deep breath, Inu-Yasha could feel his presence, and knew he was going to look strange the minute an impact hit him. He laid his head upon the side, as his brother stared down upon him, pinning him down.

"Inu-Yasha!!" Kagome cried, pulling an arrow out of his broach, Kagome peaked it, preparing to fire when a cold chill shot through her. Sesshoumaru was biting Inu-Yasha's neck; a finger gripping the demi-inu's hair. Inu-Yasha's eyes were glazed over, purring as his brother continued his ministrations, before stopping at his belly.

"A kit…" The older demon pulled up, and Inu-Yasha took in a deep breath before sitting up. "Is that why you came back? To aim your kit on me, scram." He held out his hands, signaling their talk was through.

"Sess." Inu-Yasha whispered, walking towards his brother, "As much as I hate it, but the laws of mating and reproduction." The older demon ignored his brother, walking towards the oversized home.

"Do not make me repeat myself. I want you guys off my land, or I'll kill you." The full-demon snarled, watching his brother turn, walking away, hands on his stomach. Kagome stared at both of them, as well as Shippou, before taking after the half-demon.

Leaning back on a tree, Sesshoumaru growled, fingers resting against his sides. "Curse you Inu-Yasha."

Myouga nodded, fully hearing Inu-Yasha tale, about how Sesshoumaru took him the month before, to the life inside him. Three times, Kagome had passed out, and Shippou kept reaching over to touch the flat stomach that Inu-Yasha was angrily protecting. "Well it would explain a lot, yet I don't think you seeing Sesshoumaru is far from over. Even he knows what will happen if another demon spots Inu-Yasha, and from what I can see, he wants his mate not the offspring."

The half inu lay against a tree, closing his eyes tiredly. "Who said I would go for another demon? The responsible one is hard enough, doesn't matter though. I don't need him; I can raise my child much better than my dad did for us." The half Inu slapped the trailing hand away, receiving a squeak from Shippou.

"That's not what I mean Inu-Yasha. Yes and no with the offspring, but you're still giving off a scent, because the ritual was never completed. The child is just in the way from Sesshoumaru making you his, but because he could never finish the ritual off before you it was all over, being that your friends were around, I also believe your heat scent disappeared, and he figured it wasn't worth it. Yet, you now mark a scent of un-fulfillment. Demons, the stronger ones, look for that now. Of course, he would know once another takes you, that your not his, against either of your wills." The flee (a/n; Is he one? He looks like it to me, but to be on the safe side termite also) shook his head, watching as Inu-Yasha frowned. "Never would I think that Master Inu-Yasha would be a Carrier." He sighed.

Slamming his palm down, Inu-Yasha growled loudly. "Shut up! I don't like this either, but you don't have to be insulting me about it!" He quickly stood up, turning around only to slam into Miroku's chest. "I'm sorry, Inu-Yasha, are you okay?" The perverted human stared over the slightly shook up half-demon. Regaining composer, Inu-Yasha's face turned green as he pulled himself to his feet and ran towards the nearest trees.

"What's wrong with him?" Sango asked, staring the puking half-demon over.

"Long Story," Kagome smiled, as a faint color added to her face.

Sesshoumaru stared through the balcony of his castle, frowning distantly as he remembered the beautiful scent that Inu-Yasha had given off, that disoriented his own senses. He couldn't take it though, the fact that he'd have to share Inu-Yasha with someone else, even his own child.

"Master!" Jaken yelled, running into the room as quickly as he could, breaking the silence easily.

"It's been recently sent in that Naraku has finally found a mate, and he wishes for you to come and visit."

"Why would I do anything with him?" The lord asked, allowing the wind to brush through his hair.

"Well, his mate, as been told, has only been seen by one person. This is a friend of mine, who explained that the boy has long white hair, and is almost an inu, not quite like. Almost like Inu-Yasha." Sesshoumaru turned to face his servant, his eyes growing wide with wonder. "Elaborate."

"Uh. Well, he hasn't received the mate yet, but he said 'he's ready' to my friend. They attack this wary traveler tonight." Jaken croaked.

"Very well, not my worry, he wouldn't mess with my mate." Sesshoumaru leaned against the wall.

"Mate?" Jaken croaked again before hoping away.

Inu-Yasha cupped the water into his mouth, his eyes closed as the pain finally left him, his eyes losing their light. Kagome had gone back to her world, to study for a test, and would be gone the week, leaving everybody else to baby him. He hated it, the dreadful thought of his own friends insulting him for being weak.

"Kukuku." Laughter filled around him, causing Inu-Yasha to hiss as he stared around. The blackness of the sky took over his vision, a soft purr emitting from the same owner, and Inu-Yasha fell back towards the water, cursing distantly. He couldn't help it, a purr escaped his chest as he fought back against the unsought wind around him, crying loudly as arms wrapped around him, pulling his body close. "Inu-Yasha, weak as ever to the common sex, just perfect," Naraku continued to chuckle as Inu-Yasha started to inhale the masculine scent escaping the demon's body, turning on every sense that Inu-Yasha could muster.

No, I don't want to be hurt, Inu-Yasha couldn't fight, his body tightened around the taller males body, cuddling into the strength that his young feasted upon. Sesshoumaru, stop him. Please, somebody, this is all too soon.

He could feel teeth glaze upon his neck, around Sesshoumaru's possession bite, rewriting its signature.

Sesshoumaru took in a deep breath as he turned the corner, passing several trees. He could feel it, his mate was in danger, either in physical trouble or having another chose to be his mate. He knew this was a horrible idea, being nice enough to take his brother upon somebody his sweet brother didn't know.

If they had never gained the little child, he would never have sent Inu-Yasha away, but it was impossible to have a long-life mate that was your own brother, he had morals. Demons would mate, and if they received an offspring, they would be life long mates, if not they went along as if nothing had happen, and Inu-Yasha ruined that for him. He came back because he felt a powerful scent, wanted more. Enough! Inu-Yasha is in danger! He growled at himself, ignoring his morals. Jumping from a westward cliff, he fell next to where his brother's scent stopped, there, in the water laid his brother's stash. "Yasha?" He stared around, eyes wide.

There came no reply, and Sesshoumaru felt a dagger enter his heart. He heard footsteps, forcing him to turn to his visitor. Shippou walked out; face white as ever as he stared up at the taller demon. "He took Inu-Yasha!"

"Who did!?" Sesshoumaru growled, lifting the fox-demon by the neck of his collar. "Naraku! He just came and Inu-Yasha fell in his arms like a love-sick puppy…sorry…" The fox-child whispered, expressing the sad pun.

Tossing the small demon all of the way, Sesshoumaru jumped in the air, sniffing around to find where the two had gone in little time.

Naraku dropped Inu-Yasha upon the blood covered bed, its scent covering both of their arousal scents. Inu-Yasha stared up, taking in the deep scent, his eyes losing their lust as the blood overrode his senses. A whimper replaced his moans, fingers tightening on the approaching demon’s silk tunic. “No…” The demi-inu whispered.

Naraku ignored the boy as his began to removed the boy’s pants, scaring the half-inu fully. Inu-Yasha leaned upon the pillow staring up, his hand wrapping around his stomach, unable to fight back the offending demon prying his legs apart. The smell was back, overpowering the nauseous blood, and Inu-Yasha leaned his head against the pillow, face flushing.

“That’s a good bitch,” Naraku grabbed hold of Inu-Yasha’s thin waist and slammed into the lithe body.

Sesshoumaru stared around him, ignoring the gasping arising from his back. He didn’t get very far before he grabbed Shippou to lead him the direction Naraku and Inu-Yasha took off. He couldn’t smell his mate anywhere, and his kit, still so tiny to be called his pup yet, was with him.

Sesshoumaru’s eyes grew wide as a pang hit his chest, thinking about his young. He couldn’t have a young, not with his brother, the child would be looked down upon, not only as a bastard, but as a reject. He couldn’t stand to see to people he’d be emotional close to be depressed from the negligence they would receive.

“That way,” the small fox pointed in the mist of a direction that looked dead to both. Fog rose from the drying water, the heat over taking both, death knocking both against the ground. “How can anybody breath!?” Shippou held his nose as Sesshoumaru took a few gasp before retuning to his cold figure, standing in the dead wind.

“Stay here then,” Sesshoumaru jumped up the mountain that held his brother hostage.

Inu-Yasha gasped, his fingers tightening upon the linen of the bedding, screaming loudly as Naraku slammed against his G spot, tears fell from his shut eyes, forcing his body to spasm as his body tensed.

“N-Naraku!” Inu-Yasha cried out, feeling lips against his brother’s old scar, biting. Blood swelled the wound as Inu-Yasha’s eyes began to dilate, fingers losing against the pillow, no longer feeling anything as his enemy released inside his abused canal, washing with red liquid that had been used as a lubricant after the half-inu had been taken.

The demon pulled out, his body still tensed as he stared over his new mate. He could still fill that the boy was pregnant, obviously Sesshoumaru’s due to his bite signature.

Flicking his wrist, Naraku summoned up a dagger from his magic, running it along the half-Inu’s stomach. Inu-Yasha jerked awake, stared at the knife as he began to fight back. “No, please, Naraku, don’t.” He whispered, aware what his new mate wanted to do with his brother’s baby.

The dark haired demon smiled down upon Inu-Yasha as he pulled the dagger back and slashed it down.

“NO!!”

Sesshoumaru planted his feet on the ground, taking in a deep breath as he could smell Inu-Yasha over the overdose of blood. His brother was in pain, screams pressed against his ears as his brother broke once more.

The demon broke through the doors, feet once more running as he smelt his way to the path of Inu-Yasha, pushing open the door with all his strength, his sanity dropping at the sight he saw, his brother, his baby. He’d never see anything as he launched out to attack Sesshoumaru.

Kagome stared up from her biology test, taping her pen against the desk with a sigh. She couldn’t help but think of Inu-Yasha, and his needs, how clueless he had become. He actually planned on fighting against Naraku when he was pregnant, how he expected to raise a child, much less give birth to one.

Her back pack was filled to the rim with mothering books, sweets, and other items she felt Inu-Yasha would need through the week she was gone.

A smile spread across her face as she remembered Inu-Yasha’s hurt face when he woke up and would through up from Sango’s smoked amphibian pie. He looked so innocent with his head thrown over, Miroku holding his hair so it didn’t fall in his face. Truth was, she loved Inu-Yasha, feeling sorry for him every time he’d cry in his sleep because his own mate didn’t want him.

“Ma’am, are you finished?” Her teacher stood next to her desk, and Kagome stared up innocently, holding her test.

“Yes, sir.” She smiled. “May I be excused?” She smiled, and he nodded. Packing her back pack, she took off out of the room and to her grandfather’s shrine. Stopping at the door, she could hear her mother yelling for her to get a package, she sighed, dropping the bag; she took off and out of the hall to her mother.

Sesshoumaru had to push back tears as he held on to his brother far away from Naraku’s castle. He didn’t kill the demon for this, but he was going to as he eased the knife out from his brother’s body, running his hand over the wound. Taking in a deep breath, Sesshoumaru pulled out his Tessaiga and aimed it towards his brother’s stomach, he could feel the light as his kit was slowly revived, the wound healing in seconds. Leaning towards his brother’s neck, Sesshoumaru pressed his lips to the fatal wound, biting it until Inu-Yasha was once more his.

Pulling his brother in his arms, Sesshoumaru stared around as Shippou ran towards them, grabbing Inu-Yasha’s hand. “Is he all right?” The small fox asked.

Sesshoumaru nodded, pressing his lips to his brother’s hand. “We’d better be getting back.” He lifted his brother in his arms, and Shippou jumped upon the full demon’s back and clung tightly, as they were off.

“Don’t…please…” Inu-Yasha’s lips moved, begging for help, whimpering as his numb hands searched for his belly. “My…baby…”

Staring the boy over, Shippou flushed as he leaned his head down. “We need to get to Kaede her too check the kit!”

Nodding, Sesshoumaru changed directions toward the west, all of Inu-Yasha’s companions still sat to the east, unsure where Shippou and Inu-Yasha had gone to.

“I see.” Kaede walked towards Inu-Yasha, who was asleep in his brother’s arms. “However, I refuse to help the fact that you, Sesshoumaru, refuse to take nature’s duty.”

“My father didn’t.” Sesshoumaru hugged Inu-Yasha close. “He didn’t take care of us kids, merely chose a new mate when the first was impregnated. I cannot uphold a child as close to relationship as my own brother.”

“Then why bother mate with him?” Kaede placed a blanket over the sleeping Inu as Sesshoumaru kissed his brother’s forehead, preparing to walk out of the room. “Answer me, Sesshoumaru.” The elderly woman stared over the lord with a frown.

Shaking his head, Sesshoumaru didn’t smile. “It was either me, or somebody else.” He walked out, leaving both alone. In a few minutes, Shippou ran in the room, sitting next to Inu-Yasha, Kagome running in after.

“Inu-Yasha!!” She sat next to the injured inu. “What happen to him?” She stared up.

“Naraku mated with him, of course, he would be no more than prey to Sesshoumaru with the kit and all.” The elderly lady sighed, placing a wet rag upon Inu-Yasha forehead as the boy began to shudder. “Jabbed a knife right through the kit’s undeveloped cell, almost killed it if Sesshoumaru didn’t use the Tessaiga when he did. Inu-Yasha is still open to the world though, because he doesn’t have his mate with him.”

“I don’t understand…Why would Sesshoumaru make all the difference?” Kagome whispered. Kaede shook her head, sitting down. “Inu-Yasha wouldn’t mate with one weaker than he is, however both Naraku and Sesshoumaru are much stronger than he, so they made exceptional mates. A demon can sense ones strength, and wouldn’t bother something of a stronger demons value.” She watched as Kagome ran her hand over Inu-Yasha’s undeveloped stomach. “However, let me tell you, you haven’t seen the last of Sesshoumaru. For one who claims to have nothing to do with his own kit, he went through a lot of trouble just to revive his child.”

Nodding, Kagome watched as Inu-Yasha moaned in his sleep, turning to his side to fall once more to sleep.

Outside, Sesshoumaru growled at how the woman refused to mind her own business. He could hear Inu-Yasha moan his name as warmth fluttered through his heart before he jumped out of sight.

“I don’t hate my kit, but Rin’s hard enough to take care of, Inu-Yasha and another would be almost impossible.”

Inu-Yasha was laid upon his side on a tree branch, the new moon high in the sky, his dark-black hair falling down his face as his eyes remained closed. He could hear his friends bellow, sleeping as well, the running water near-bye, the owls that were everywhere, yet he didn’t care, he was dead to the world.

Walking out from behind a tree, Sesshoumaru thanked his brother’s human senses as he made it towards his brother. The rest of the time since Naraku’s attack, Sesshoumaru had talked to Rin, and how she would feel to have an addition to their little family. Sadly, Sesshoumaru felt that Rin was his daughter, she had a say if he brought Inu-Yasha home. The girl didn’t quite understand, but nodded that she wanted a little sister, Sesshoumaru wasn’t all edged for another girl.

Comforting him upon a branch just a little lower from where Inu-Yasha slept, unaware of his brothers waiting eyes or the fact that he had became human over night, Sesshoumaru touched his brother’s stomach. He could feel the strength that the small undeveloped child was giving off, and he could tell he would have a strong child. Pressing his fingers against the younger inu’s flat stomach, Sesshoumaru inserted strength in the small child, his own leaving quickly. By hell he was going to let anything of his grow up to be mutated with another demon’s heredity.

His brother began to move against his hand, face paling a great deal, and Sesshoumaru’s brows rose as the Inu’s eyes opened before widening and tried to move down. Picking his brother up, Sesshoumaru jumped towards a bush, laying the boy down. In his sleep need mode, Inu-Yasha paid no attention to the help as he threw up, and Sesshoumaru didn’t touch him before disappearing back into the trees.

On his way back to his land, Sesshoumaru couldn’t fight the blush that had arisen to his face, the thought of his brother on his knees. Jumping up upon his tree, Sesshoumaru gave one last glance back before running to his home to make sure Rin wasn’t having a nightmare about the ‘scary’ demon that slept under her bed (which Sesshoumaru kept explaining if there were, he’d kill them instantly, and besides, it wouldn’t be stupid enough to do so).

Stretching his tight muscles, Inu-Yasha stood up and flexed himself before turning to see his still sleeping companions. His white hair fell around his back as he sniffed the air, a bothersome scent arousing his nether regions. Obviously they were checked in by a half-ass father, however, Inu-Yasha felt rather great along his stomach.

“Inu-Yasha, let’s go!” Kagome stared up at him, and Inu-Yasha just made him comfortable on the back of her bike. “Kaede wants to see you again; I don’t see why she just won’t let us stay in her village…” Kagome pushed on up the hill as Miroku frowned.

“Demons are after Inu-Yasha; don’t want the innocent attacked by these maters.” He continued walking as Sango walked towards Inu-Yasha with a grin on her face.

“Sooo, what’re you going to name it?” She smiled, and the half demon snorted, turning his head to face the distant land as they came across the sunny village. Kaede turned from the man she had been talking to, smiling at them.

“And how are you travelers today?” She stared them all over, before stopping upon Inu-Yasha, “And how about the little one? Is it being fed?” She smiled. “A proper host must feed the proper nutrients to the child for it to live and be born proper.”

Inu-Yasha turned his head, sticking his nose in the air. “It seems Sesshoumaru dealt with feeding his pup, he came around last night, and I don’t fell sick today.” He smiled innocently. “I also haven’t seen any demons today.”

“Ah. Sesshoumaru’s scent remains on you then.” Kaede nodded as the others left to their own business, Kaede pulling Inu-Yasha to the hut to check on him.

Sesshoumaru stared down upon the group as he watched his carrier be pulled by the blasted priestess. He had all ready checked his young, and it needed no more care for that week. He had to cut his schedule in half just to prepare his family, but there would be no problem in having a few alone moments.

People walked around, talking in security of being safe, and Sesshoumaru fought the urge to attack them. He needed a little destruction, but if it would hurt his brother, he could wait.

“It’s the demon!” Somebody screamed, and Sesshoumaru turned his head to see a screaming woman, running from him. “Sesshoumaru’s here!!”

The village went into an up rise, people pointing at him, and screaming. Growing angry at the disrespectful people, Sesshoumaru jumped down, slicing his claw into one. “Hasn’t your mother ever told you not to point?” He smiled, standing up. A large boomerang slanted near his foot; if he hadn’t jumped away it would have hit him.

Sango stood next to him, pushing her fist into her hips. “You bastard,” She snarled at him bringing a grin to the said demon’s face. “You are just like any other man, irresponsible.” She guarded her face as playfully, Sesshoumaru swung his fist at her. His body stopped as a scent hit him, turning his face at his dear brother, who was gaining the upper hand with the baby growing as part of his own strength.

“Leave him alone.” Inu-Yasha whispered, hand upon his belly. “I told you, I don’t need his help.” He turned slowly. “And thank you, for last night, Sesshoumaru. I think I would have fallen out of the tree just to rush.”

Sesshoumaru stared back at him, neither intending on blinking as he slowly reached out, to touch Inu-Yasha’s cold cheek. It was so hard on him, to give up so much, for nothing. He was only man, needed his significant other for completion, and needed Inu-Yasha for the future.

As his smooth fingers came in contact with the pregnant boy’s face, flames erupted around them as both stared up to their invader. Naraku was smiling half-heartedly, fingers caressing his upper arm to contain as much anger as he wished to send out against Inu-Yasha.

Kagome covered her mouth as she watched the hassle with Sesshoumaru, how he fell towards Inu-Yasha to touch the boy. It made her mad, watching their actions, deep down knowing that the demon lord would only hurt her companion more. She wasn’t dense; she had heard Inu-Yasha cry himself to sleep complaining to be a worthless mate.

Her eyes grew wide as she sensed darkness, body turning to face the other side of the village as she let out a scream, Naraku glaring down upon Inu-Yasha. Shippou, who had silently been in her back pack the whole trip, stuck his head out, nose in the air. “Guys, both are giving off that heat scent, and it just keeps getting stronger from Naraku and Sesshoumaru…” He whispered, and Kagome stared at him.

“Quickly, have the people seek refuge elsewhere!” Kaede ran off. “Demons on the ploy, it’s no longer safe here!!” People began to scatter in directions as Inu-Yasha gang stood their ground, watching the mist of battle over the pregnant teen start. Miroku glared over both, taking in both of their tense bodies as Inu-Yasha stepped back, hands upon his stomach. Ever since he’s become pregnant, Inu-Yasha never fights, and seems to be dependent on others for protection, Kagome noted, pressed on by the fact Inu-Yasha walked closer to his mate, then to Naraku.

“What are you here for, Naraku?” Sesshoumaru stared up at the demon that just smiled down upon him.

“You still haven’t claimed him, so just stop being a selfish whore and move out of the way for another to mate with him. Besides, just because the kit is still alive, doesn’t mean Inu-Yasha is.” He walked towards the half-inu, and Inu-Yasha slapped his hand.

Glaring, Sesshoumaru pushed his half brother aside, both demons claws extended, preparing to fight, to the death. Stepping back, Inu-Yasha stopped as his back pressed against Miroku’s, eyes wide as his brother and Naraku shot together to fight.

“What’s going on Inu-Yasha?” Sango whispered, watching the two fight closely matched.

“It’s a fight to see…who’s more suitable for Inu-Yasha.” Myouga said suddenly, everybody turning to face the unsuspecting flea. “They’ll fight to the death, if needed.”

“Is there anyway to stop them…?” Kagome whispered.

“There’s one way, yet, Inu-Yasha’s made it clear, and he refuses the mate of his unborn kit. Yet, if he were to swear his self to one, it would have no problems. He carries no scent, he belongs to no one.” The flea muttered as half of the village was destroyed, but demons clawing each other down.

Inu-Yasha stepped back once more, watching as Naraku was pressed against a tree, Sesshoumaru readying to claw out his eyes. He couldn’t take it much longer, his hands rested upon his stomach, and everybody turned to him, even the fighting stopped to stare over Inu-Yasha as the half demon turned his back and ran as quickly as he could, each step hitching the scent of the baby until it was completely gone. Neither was accepted for mate, as Inu-Yasha’s team followed after, unsure of Inu-Yasha’s actions.

Naraku shook his head, returning to his senses before disappearing from the battle field. Sesshoumaru barely moving as the people made it back to the destroyed village.

As their half-demon friend was gone with Shippou, most likely for the small demon to hold back his hair as he tossed his cookies, all the others sat around Myouga to listen to what was going on.

Kagome, after awhile, slammed her fist in her hands with a smile. “It’s like those boring movies in science. The two bucks will fight for the privilege to mate with the deer, so she’ll watch and choice the winner. Inu-Yasha is that deer, he watches the two bucks, Sesshoumaru and Naraku go all out in a life and death fight, and choices. However, he denies both, either for a stronger mate, or because he doesn’t like either?” Myouga nodded his head as Kagome cheered herself on, before stopping. “Wait…wouldn’t Sesshoumaru have full rights, because he’s the father?”

“How many animals do you see the male return to the mother?” Miroku shook his head. “Yet, in mating the demons stay together, of course, being that Inu-Yasha’s only half, it doesn’t matter who the mate is, and he can fight back to what he wants. Also remember, they still hate each other dearly for the past.”

Sango raised her hand, laughing like a school girl. “I think we should put them together, they make such a cute couple.” Miroku nodded with her, smiling innocently as he made his eye sight towards her breasts.

Not paying attention, Kagome stared back over her shoulder as Inu-Yasha made it back towards them, Shippou going on and on about children.

Inu-Yasha walked towards the shimmering lake, his eyes half lidded to the sentimental side that was opening. He had cried himself to sleep the night before, which was a horror to him that he realized how much he loved his brother.

Sitting behind a rock, Inu-Yasha shoved his feet into the ice cold water, allowing his feet to be cooled by the chilled water. Fingers resting upon his stomach, Inu-Yasha’s eyes closed as he felt his whole body cool down. Life got no better than just relaxing in his old home land.

He could remember when he lived with his brother, mother, and father in the castle that now belong to only his brother, he could remember the happiness his family shared, yet the shards that stood in the way to make them a real family.

His mother was a mate, where Sesshoumaru’s was an arranged marriage. There was the difference, between them. A mate was for life (yet Inu-Yasha refused to chose a mate so he could always have his freedom), a marriage could easily be destroyed.

Soft snores escaped the half inu’s lips as he fell into the greatest level of exhaustion.

Childish squeals filled the air, sending birds off in numerous directions as a small puppy, bare one hundred in demon years (three years in human) started jumping off rocks, laughing. His slightly older brother came after, mother following close behind to finish her sewing.

Sesshoumaru sat upon a rock, undressing himself from his silk robes, to go for a swim as he watched his fully nude brother jump in the water with a squeal of delight. “Sessy, hurry!” The small boy held up his clawed hand, waving his brother in.

Nodding, Sesshoumaru jumped in after his brother, his weight being pulled under as his puppy sibling back floated around him, giggling happily as his brother tossed him in the air cheerfully, the small boy floating down in the water before pushing to swim off. Sesshoumaru dunked his head back, easing his fingers through his air as he followed the small boy, quickly taking over the rock and held his brother close.

Their mother stared up, smiling sweetly as she watched Sesshoumaru’s tongue escape his lips to lick the water off his brothers back. Her fingers worked quickly, fixing her biological son’s kimono before the festival that night.

Inu-Yasha tilted his head to the side, giggling as his brother’s tongue found his back. Hesitantly, the child grabbed his brother’s arm, licking the droplets off the flesh. For the hour of their trip, both brothers cleaned each other off until Inu-Yasha was called over to try on his new kimono.

Sesshoumaru stared up at his brother, smiling as the small hanyou ran back towards him, spinning playfully. Being told to redress, both prepared to go, the pond leaving in the distance of their memories.

A soft whimper broke Sesshoumaru from his dreams, pulling his blanket to stare at his crying brother. The small puppy was holding on to him tightly, the memory of their fathers funeral still fresh in his mind, as everybody else in the household.

Pulling his brother close to his chest, Sesshoumaru purred, easing his brother’s whimpers and fears until the small boy stared up tiredly. “I’m sowwy for wakin’ you Sessy.” The puppy whispered, but his brother continued to comfort him closely, his pink tongue ran across his brother’s pudgy, but salty from tears, cheeks. “Sessy, where do people go when they sleep forever, like daddy?” The small Inu stared at his brother, a hic-up escaping his lips as he calmed down.

“Wherever they please, I believe.” Sesshoumaru whispered, and the small boy whispered.

“So you mean daddy is going to come back?!” Inu-Yasha cried; a smile upon his lips.

Grimacing, Sesshoumaru shrugged. “Sure, if he feels like it-”

“I guess he’s not then!” Inu-Yasha broke out into tears. “I’m a bad son, he told me to never cry! He didn’t like me because I’m not full demon, like you!” The small boy whimpered, and Sesshoumaru began to purr once more.

“He didn’t hate you, not because of that or anything else,” the full demon whispered.

“Then why?” The puppy whispered, golden eyes full of curiosity staring into Sesshoumaru’s broken ones, ones that had been taught to show no emotion.

“He might want to go with all the other lords, wherever they go. Some say heaven, some say after life. I don’t know, I guess wherever he plans on going.” He held onto his brother, continuing to purr as he felt his brother’s breathing lighten. Knowing the boy was asleep, Sesshoumaru closed his eyes, holding onto his brother closely.

Inu-Yasha ran through the tall grass, making his way towards the barn, far ahead of his older brother. It was the only playing hour they had; he was going to use it to his advantage.

Never noticing a rock, Inu-Yasha fell under the pile of grass, coughing as sand got caught in his throat, his leg unable to move from where it was cut up from the sharp rock. “Sessy…” He whimpered, a soft cry escaping his lips, calling for his brother, but Sesshoumaru never showed up. The wind howled as the small boy curled up, closing his eyes, his leg hurt, he didn’t want to crawl all the way home, that would take along.

Whimpering, he whispered his brother’s name once more as he slept, feeling in shame for disobeying his mother about going to the pond unsupervised, and taking the short-cut that wasn’t permitted. Closing his eyes, the small hanyou fell asleep, feeling taping against his side in the middle of the night, a human’s scent giggling and laughing.

“It’s a demon; do you think it’s alive?”

“I don’t care, let’s take him home!”

That was the last time Inu-Yasha had ever seen his home, his mother, and his older brother.

Rain began to drop outside as Inu-Yasha was startled awake, and a scream followed as he rose hard enough to hurt the person staring down at him. Kouga held his bruising nose, yelping as he stepped back quickly.

“Cool man!” Kouga held up his hands. “I wouldn’t hurt you, don’t send Fluffy butt here!” He stood completely up, watching as Inu-Yasha dusted himself off, His neck full showing as he bent around to protect himself, mostly his belly. “Waita minute! You have Sesshoumaru’s scent, but where’s his mark? Are you not his mate?” He walked himself closer, only to be thrown back by Inu-Yasha’s claws.

“That’s none of your business.” Inu-Yasha muttered.

“You’re pregnant with pretty boys pup. Never thought you would be into incest,” The wolf grinned. “Now show me to your ex-woman.” He slammed his foot down, and Inu-Yasha rolled his eyes, started to leave the forest before it started to rain harder.

Sesshoumaru snorted, staring down at the two leaving travelers from his perch. It was starting; Inu-Yasha was losing his sharp senses – the main reason why many demons hated being carriers, with the baby taking all of their strength. He had watched the whole scene, until he had sensed the damned wolfs entranced. He was feeding his baby, while his brother slept. There was no way he was going to let his own pup not have any heredity from the father, it would be mutated.

He could remember the flow of energy that had shot up his arm, when he touched his brother’s flat stomach, so unlike any other he sensed. A cruel smile peered upon the full-demon’s face; of course his pup would be strong.

Yet, he felt he had done wrong, denying the fact that his brother was truly his mate. He had never wanted a puppy of his own; however three months later he changed his mind. Yet, he wouldn’t have to worry about Naraku anymore, the other demon knew he was outmatched in the fight, and even more outmatched with Inu-Yasha turned his back from both.

Nether less, Sesshoumaru refused to allow somebody else to take over his brother’s life, never if most of these mates would abuse his brother, kill his baby, and destroy his life.

“Sessy-sama!?” Sesshoumaru jumped, startled on his branch, turning to see where the voice came from. He had trouble maintaining calmness when someone would call him ‘Sessy’, only his brother ever did so. Yet, there was little Rin, smiling sweetly up at him. “Can I go swimming now?”

“You may.” The demon corrected her, but the child paid no mind to him as she ran towards the water.

The full demon stared down, watching her calmly as she splashed, and squealed with delight, yet all he could see was his brother at a younger age, and then the day that the boy just disappeared. They had gone swimming, yet Inu-Yasha never showed up at the pond, didn’t show up for dinner, or for his night second bath – at that time Sesshoumaru had begun to worry.

“Nii-Sama, why were mommy and daddy talking about gettin’ you a mate? What is a mate?”

“I don’t know, and a mate is something like mother. She stays with dad as a loving support, where my mother was wed to dad, yet there was no love.”

“You mean you and me don’t have the same mommy?”

“Yes, ‘Yasha, we don’t have the same mothers.”

Blinking, Sesshoumaru shook his head quickly, washing those thoughts from his head. His brother had cried for four hours when the truth was told. After that, he thought he’d never purr again, yet, the next time Inu-Yasha little heart broke, he was purring again.

“I know! I’ll be your mate Nii-Sama! You always protect, just like daddy does for our mommy!” Stubborn as always, “Just you and I, and I’ll know that if I don’t become the strongest demon I can be, that my big brother will come and save me, like in all those bedtime stories you use to read me!! And then, when you hold me close, protecting me from the bad demons that are after me, I know I am safe and that nothing could ever hurt me again…”

The sun began to rise again as Kouga walked towards Kagome with a smirk on his face, asking how things were going. Inu-Yasha was less than amused as he sat upon the ground, staring up at them sadly. It had stopped raining, and in mere politeness to the Demon mate, Kouga had covered Inu-Yasha throughout the rain. Miroku sat next to Inu-Yasha smiled politely.

“You’ve been gone for awhile, where’d you go?” He asked, and Inu-Yasha touched his stomach.

“Home…” The half-inu whispered, “It’s been forever, yet it would have been perfect…” He slowly cut himself off, staring at his bare feet.

Sango smiled at him, leaning against the tree. “Well, enjoy moving while you can. Soon you’ll be so big, well have to stop at a village until your back to your old self.”

Nodding, Inu-Yasha jerked as Kagome gave him a hug before explaining that Kouga was going to walk her to the well, so she could do her finals. Inu-Yasha decided that he needed a bath after that, walking away from everybody towards a hot spring not far from their camp site.

His fingers ran numbly over his red kimono, pulling it over his slender shoulders before tilting his head to the darkened sky. The stars were already shining as he dropped his clothes to the ground, kicking them off with his toe. Taking in a deep breath, Inu-Yasha stretched as he walked towards the spring, taking in a deep breath as he dunked into the water.

“I always thought you looked beautiful, water curving down your body, racing to your feet.”

Inu-Yasha jerked up, gasping as water was inhaled in his nose, nostrils flaring, and he glared up at his older brother, coughing a fit before reaching to cover himself. “Sesshoumaru…” He whispered, warmth rising to his cheeks.

“Good evening, ‘Yasha.” The demon greeted, reaching out to pull his brother out, but Inu-Yasha slapped his hand. “Seems you’re in a good mood,” He sat upon the edge, wedging off his fluffed poncho along with his elegant kimono.

Blood boiled down to the dog’s manhood, it twitching to life under the flow of water as he slowly pulled himself out of the pool to sit by his brother. His movements were miscalculated as his lithe form was pulled into his brother’s lap, and Inu-Yasha let out a dangerous cry.

“My baby!” The half Inu pulled up, holding his stomach tightly, protectively.

“I doubt that would have done anything to it.” Sesshoumaru smiled as Inu-Yasha glared up at him. “Yet, I am pleased you react in that manner, any other and I’d be mad.” The full demon once more pulled his brother entirely on his lap, cradling the boy.

“…You’re caring about … our young…” The half Inu whispered, watching as his brother began feeding his demon strength to the child. “…You’re permitting the puppy to be your heir…?” Thoughts were the last thing on Inu-Yasha’s mind as he laid his head upon the full demon’s shoulder.

“Shouldn’t I?” Sesshoumaru whispered. “You’re my mate, remember?” He licked the half-Inu’s twitching ears, playing with the twitching ear.

“Mate?” Inu-Yasha whispered, his heart melting with those words. Questions roamed his head, complaining about that accusation, because he had never participated in the mating ritual, as well as other demons were still bothering him.

Sesshoumaru nodded, laying his dear brother upon the ground, fingers touching the young demons neck, embracing the mark that everybody had either marked over, or ignored. Extending his fangs, the glazed the skin, tenderizing it for the final bite.

After this, he would have no trouble with other demons, upon his own smell, Inu-Yasha would carry Sesshoumaru’s, meaning nobody could hurt him sexually. Yet, that never stopped those that could tie him up, and threaten Sesshoumaru with the mate’s life.

Grimacing, Sesshoumaru pressed his teeth into soft skin, his rough tongue playing with the forming bruise. He could hear his brother whimpering, watching carefully as his brother’s nails extended into claws that began digging into his brothers tough shoulder skin. Sesshoumaru’s golden eyes opened wider to pull back as blood slowly leaked from his brother’s wound. The half inu’s eyes became a shinier golden. Inu-Yasha’s teeth pulled out, canines marking their way out of his mouth, whimpers escaping his brother’s throat.

Calming the smaller male with his purrs, Sesshoumaru prepared to finish their ritual. His head tilted to the side, allowing the other demon to mark him. As Inu-Yasha glazed his teeth into the tender skin, his brother ran his fingers over the Inu’s undeveloped belly, swarming more of his power into the tiny life.

Inu-Yasha moaned, his back arching in an impossible direction, claws piercing the skin. As Sesshoumaru pulled away, his brother stared up with lust filled eyes, legs spreading under the full demon, allowing Sesshoumaru to rest between his legs. His brother leaned down once more, teeth teasing the skin.

Kissing Inu-Yasha’s shoulder bone, Sesshoumaru ran his claws over the half-inu’s undeveloped stomach, Inu-Yasha moaned as he felt his brother wrap his warm mouth over his shaft, the heat attacking the half-demon quickly. Lifted his hips, Inu-Yasha thrusted into his brother’s mouth, grasping the dirt with a loud howl, his eyes squinted as the dirt met under his nails.

“Sessy…” He whispered, and the busy demon smiled as he pressed the appendage in the back of his throat, nose taking in a deep inhale of his brother’s pubic hair. The half Inu cried out, moaning loudly as he thrusted his hips up once more, begging to be touched.

Sweet pre-cum quenched Sesshoumaru’s thirst as he ‘drank’ his brother’s fluids until the small Inu was close to his pinnacle, he pulled away, and the smaller boy howled in anger.

“Don’t!” Inu-Yasha was about to cuss his brother as warm lips pressed against his, claiming dominance with no trouble. He could taste himself on the opposing tongue, yet he wasn’t sickened by it, only turned on further as he spread his legs once more. “Please…”

“Please what…?” Sesshoumaru smiled.

Inu-Yasha ground out another plea, eyes narrow as he whispered, embarrassed, that he wanted Sesshoumaru to take him. To provide to his needs, the half-Inu fell to his knees with his ass in the air, tempting his older brother to take him. Sesshoumaru panted, turned on by his once naïve brother’s actions. Falling down next to is brothers behind, Sesshoumaru pressed his brother’s legs, telling his to spread them further. When he was granted what he wanted, his face fell between both gloves, his rough tongue played with the tight ring of muscle, lubing his brother up.

The pregnant male broke out into moans as a strained cry escaped his lips, back pressing towards Sesshoumaru’s face. The full demon pulled away, once more standing up as he slammed his dry, leaking, shaft into his brother’s slightly wet entrance.

Inu-Yasha howled, his head falling back as hair moved to his chest, whimpers following after each cry as his brother stopped, breathing deeply at the strain. Each second seem to pass slowly, Inu-Yasha squinted his eyes, trying to coax the width his body was forced to hold. Thrusting himself back, he stated he was ready.

Sesshoumaru slammed into his brother, quickly aiming at the passage to his brother’s prostate. Each aim quivered Inu-Yasha further to the ground as his body collapsed under him, his elbows hardly holding him up. Tightening up his anus muscles and Sesshoumaru groaned loudly at his body tensed, wanting to explode, but he couldn’t have it.

Reaching under his brother, his clawed hand took hold of the still-young demon’s shaft, grasping it affectionately. Inu-Yasha cried out as he threw his head back and with one last howl at the moon that had risen in the sky, releasing all his strain at once.

Sesshoumaru cried out as his brother captured all heat around him, tightening around his pulsing shaft. A yell shattered the night sky as they heard a wolf call, the wolves replying to the howl that Inu-Yasha had sent off.

The two lied together, regaining their breath as the night sky tickled their warm bodies, before Sesshoumaru, intent on cleaning his brother, began to lick his brother’s sweet built body clear.

Inu-Yasha wrapped his arms around his mate, kissing him passionately, having to stand on his toes so his body was leveled to properly kiss his brother. Neither broke apart until an owl hooted at them, making them jerk. The smaller demon smiled sweetly at his brother as he redressed into his Kimono. His brother touched the permanent scar with his pinky, tracing his lips over his brother’s puffy, red cheek.

“You’re so beautiful.” He whispered, their hips moving together in a seductive movement. Inu-Yasha giggled as his brother began to kiss his ear, tongue entering the creases. A moan escaped the hanyou’s lips as he wrapped his arms around his brother’s shoulders to remain standing.

“Sessy…” He whispered, leaning his face in the crook of his brother’s neck.

“Inu-Yasha!” A yell started both lovers as they turned to face the moving bushes. Hugging his brother once, Sesshoumaru said his good-byes, but promised to follow close behind the group when possible. His little brother nodded, waving good bye to the full demon before turning once more to the approaching figures.

Miroku pushed his way past their sting plants, mumbling as he stopped to take a glance at the flushed Inu. “Did I interrupt anything?” He asked, and the hanyou shoved his nose in the air. “Well, Sango sent me to see if you drowned, you’ve been gone for a two hours.” He turned to walk, and Inu-Yasha turned, touching his new mark with a grin before running after the monk.

It was a month before Kagome decided to come back (not that Inu-Yasha minded her disappearance), and when she did, she seemed less distinct. Her brows were full of furry as she dropped down her back pack, staring at everybody, Kouga smiling innocently with each stomp she made.

“Have you guys noticed who is gone this last month?” She growled at the group. Sango stared up, shaking her head; Miroku shrugged his shoulders, Inu-Yasha snorted. Out of her bag, Shippou glared at them all, his head tilting up to place his nose in the air.

“Well, phooey to you to.” He growled before stopping. “Sesshoumaru’s here…” He stared around. Kagome gasped, jumping behind Inu-Yasha, along with the other friends except Kouga. Kouga merely smiled, staring at Inu-Yasha.

Turning his back, the wolf sat upon the ground, poking at what they were calling ‘dinner’. Inu-Yasha followed as the three humans and small demon stared with wide eyes at their ‘concern’. Kagome twitched first, gaining first. “Aren’t you two going to do anything about Sesshoumaru!?”

Kouga stared up first, blinking. “Woman, if I were to hit the reason Sesshoumaru smells like he’s here, Sesshoumaru would be here.” He pointed at the half dog, blushing feverously near the fire. “It seems puppy here got himself mated completely while we were gone.” To prove his point, Kouga yanked down some of Inu-Yasha’s clothes to show the rather large love bite.

Shippou was the first to check it out, sniffing the wound cautiously. “He’s right, Sesshoumaru smells right here!” He pointed, only to have his hand slap. “I thought you didn’t accept Sesshoumaru as a mate!”

“He’s persistent.” Inu-Yasha growled, fingers resting upon his belly. Jumping upright, he stared at a startling snap that had been from Kagome.

“I brought you a book!” Kagome dug in her back pack, not even notice as Miroku and Sango were both attacked by the over protective Inu-Yasha for attempting to touch his mating mark. Inu-Yasha stared up, slapping the book to the ground.

“There is nothing in there about a demon-breeding.” He stood up, stretching his arms. Kouga stared up, smiling sweetly at the angered mate.

“Why are you here, anyway? I mean, don’t you have a cock to be sitting on?” He played with the meat in the fire, and Inu-Yasha frowned. “If you’re his mate, why aren’t you with him?”

Nodding, Kagome placed her hands on her hips glaring at him. “He’s not responsible if he’s not going to take care of you!” The others nodded, reluctantly as Inu-Yasha glared, fist clenched and unclenching. He hated to be proved wrong, he hated the need for any help. He could take care of his own child, and his brother had just left so he could continue working on finding the jewel shards.

He was a mate, his brother was honest when it came to their love, but something had to happen. Inu-Yasha didn’t want his child to be a runt of a half-demon and full-demon. Twitching his ear, he turned to the talking humans, muttering about how inconsiderate that Sesshoumaru was being, and it only made Inu-Yasha’s blood boil. “Stop talking like that,” he snarled.

Kagome turned his head, glaring at the ground. “Why don’t you just stay with Sesshoumaru if you love him so much? It’s is obvious your love for your brother is much better than the love and compassion for your friends.”

Glaring, Inu-Yasha tossed his hands in the air, yelling loudly with rage. “Fine, I don’t need you guys!”

“Go away then!” Kagome screeched back, and Inu-Yasha was gone.

Shippou stared up at the angry girl, frowning a bit at the circumstances. “Now what do we do if Naraku attacks or another demon?”

Kouga flexed his muscles, smiling brightly. “That’s what I’m here for, since it didn’t matter, that dog can’t fight.”

Kagome nodded, walking to follow Kouga on the rest of that day’s adventure.

Inu-Yasha didn’t stop running as the leaves from his childhood tried to push him back from his destination. Rain hadn’t stopped pouring since it had begun, and the infant inside him was draining his energy fast. He wouldn’t cry though, he didn’t need them. He had Sesshoumaru, and that was all he was ever going to need.

A lightness of feathery hope hit his heart as he ran to the front door, and as quickly as he could, began to beat upon it as the wind began to pick up. Twigs stuck out of his hair in all sorts of directions as he heard crying from inside, obviously Rin trying to get to the door. Jaken voice followed after, yelling at her, and at that time, Inu-Yasha’s legs gave out, and he fell into darkness upon the ground.

(Few Minutes Before)

Rain poured outside, meeting the mood the Lord of the land was in. He was horny, again. Yet, he didn’t want just any lay; he wanted Inu-Yasha, to have the young demon crying under him, shaking in pleasure.

Of course, Sesshoumaru didn’t really like the rain and moments like this, any enemy could attack, and the fresh scent of mildew filling the air all around. Rubbing his temples, he could hear Jaken and Rin fighting in the lower rooms, Rin crying about Jaken destroying a doll of hers, most likely. Beyond that, a pounding kept sounding in his ears, and he was certain it wasn’t the beginning of a migraine.

“Damn!” Sesshoumaru stood up, walking out the door. Jaken’s voice grew loud, obviously they were now fighting to get the door, Rin always the little helper, yet Sesshoumaru pulled it open first, glaring at whoever was out there.

It was no one, the wind blew distantly, and howling against his ears as a faint breathing startled him to stare down upon his feet. Inu-Yasha lay, unconscious, in a building puddle of water. He was obviously sick now; his body drenched with water, his hair plastered to either his back, with his own clothes pressed against his well-formed body. Everything was either plastered to his scalp or body, or had been ripped. Twigs stuck out of his clothes, and hair.

After being startled, Sesshoumaru leaned down and lifted his cold brother in his arms, shutting the door behind him. Walking towards the stairs, he could hear Rin let out a scream, “It’s the swamp monster!!” And after that, she was gone, screaming, Jaken smiled innocently.

“Master, why is he here?” The frog asked, following Sesshoumaru to the master bedroom, where he laid Inu-Yasha upon the bed, covering him up with numbers of blankets and furs.

“I am unsure, he’s unconscious.” Sesshoumaru stood tall. “Fetch some warm water, don’t dawdle.”

The frog stood there for a second before a glare from his master sent him running. Sesshoumaru sat upon the end of the bed, touching Inu-Yasha’s covered body. “Why are you here?” He asked himself, fingers tracing towards his brother’s waist as he watched Jaken return with warm water and a cloth before running once more.

Draping the rag over Inu-Yasha’s forehead, he smiled as Inu-Yasha’s eyes opened, darkened golden eyes staring up weakly. “Sessy?” He whispered, trying to sit up.

His brother pushed him back, pecking the half-inu on the cheek. “Yes, Yasha?” He asked, losing himself to cleaning his brother’s quickly sweating face, fever obviously hitting his younger brother quickly.

“They abandoned me, because of you; you’re not going to abandoned me, again, are you?” He stared up, fingers playing with the sweet blanket around his hips.

“I never abandoned you, and never will.” Sesshoumaru kissed his brother’s face as he pulled away, licking the sweat from his lips.

“I love you, big brother…” Inu-Yasha tilted his head back, falling asleep quickly.

Sesshoumaru blushed, pushing strands of hair from Inu-Yasha’s face. His voice broke. “I love you too, Y-Yasha.” He smiled.

“Sessy-sama?” Rin stared up from where she had been tucked in, the Lord who was on his way out of the room. Turning to her, Sesshoumaru nodded for her to speak. “Is Inu-Yasha going to live with us?”

“I hope he does.” The lord said, honestly.

Rin stared up for a second before opening her mouth again. “Jaken says that Inu-Yasha is pregnant…How can boys get pregnant? Who’s the daddy? Is the baby going to stay here with us once the stork comes?” She stared at Sesshoumaru who sat next to her, tiredly.

“Yes, he’s pregnant. I’m the father, that’s why he bothers to come here in the first place. Why would a stork bring a demon to us? Who the hell told you storks bring kids!?”

“Well…If they don’t bring babies, then where do babies come from?” She stared up, and Sesshoumaru cursed himself.

As the rain stopped the next afternoon, Inu-Yasha was laying back against a pillow as Sesshoumaru feed his weak form oxtail soup. Inu-Yasha licked his lips as some fell down his chin, and Sesshoumaru smiled.

“Tell me, Yasha,” Sesshoumaru broke their long sustained silence, watching with lust filled eyes as some soup splattered on his hand and was licked off by the overzealous Inu-Yasha, “why did you leave your friends?” He asked, jerking as Inu-Yasha turned his head, not making any contact, yet their fingers remained laced. “Tell me, ‘Yasha.”

The half demon stared up, puppydog eyes in full process to get out of the questions, which only made his brother break out laughing, kissing each eye lid.

“You haven’t done that since you were just a puppy. However, it didn’t work on dad. Didn’t work on mom, and its not going to work on me,” Sesshoumaru whispered.

Groaning, Inu-Yasha stared up, his golden eyes closing. “Kagome tried to be nice, and I completely blew her away! But, she’s been driving me crazy! Didn’t defend my honor when that jackass, Kouga, made fun of me!”

“That wolf?” Sesshoumaru asked, and Inu-Yasha stared up with wide eyes. “What did this wolf say to you that would hurt your feelings so?”

“Well, first she gave me the book, and I made it clear that it had nothing to do with demon pregnancy…” He whispered, ashamed about that part, but then stared up once more. “He insulted you, which is an insult to me. First, he asked if I had a cock to be sitting on, then said you were a worthless mate…Kagome agreed…” The half demon found his claws entertaining, plucking imaginary strings out of the fine silk blanket.

Taking both hands from the blanket, Sesshoumaru pushed Inu-Yasha back against the pillow, needing a kiss from his brother's plucked lips. “God,” Sesshoumaru pulled back, feeling Inu-Yasha’s hands grabbed his arms, wanting another kiss, “you taste is so addictive, almost like vanilla.” The demon lord smiled politely as his brother flushed. Crawling on his brother, Sesshoumaru pinned the shorter male’s hips down as he suckled upon the wound upon Inu-Yasha’s neck, exciting a moan from the pregnant mate. “You drive me wild-”

“Sessy-sama!!” A shrill cry hitched both of their breaths as Inu-Yasha fought to have his hips released, the forgotten substance of food pouring down his once warmed body, gaining a scream from his unprepared body.

Feeling to blame, Sesshoumaru pulled the clay bowl from the bed, pulling his brother in his arms as Rin ran into the room, quickly jumping on the bed. “Guess what, Guess what!!” She screamed, and Inu-Yasha stared up weakly, his body grasping upon his brother’s for dear life.

“Yes, Rin?” Sesshoumaru stared at the overzealous girl, watching as she fell upon her knees on the bed to stare intently at Inu-Yasha. It was then that the demon realized his adopted daughter was soaked from rain.

“I found Inu-Yasha’s baby!!” She shrieked, and the half-demon tilted his head. “It’s still growing, near the sakura tree outside!” She pointed, and Inu-Yasha frowned.

“Huh?”

Sesshoumaru grinned, politely as he pulled his lover close to him. “The cabbage patch, little inu, the cabbage patch.”

“Right…” Inu-Yasha turned his face, still hungry sadly. “Speaking of cabbages…”

A sinister smile fell upon his lips as he stared over the group of five, sitting in a cave in silence as the rain slowed down. Earlier, he had grown curious to the loss of scent of the hanyou, and finding out that the boy had ran off, it only enlarged his chances of winning.

No longer did he have to suffer the weakness of the mating scent in his way for finding the shikon jewel shards. Yet, he could always do two tasks at once. Sesshoumaru had been a pain recently; Inu-Yasha denied him as a mate. He could easily hurt both dogs at once, with an unknown life.

Simply play with those friends of the dogs, and everything would fall into place, it would all be his.

“Four birds,” shikon jewel shards, Inu-Yasha, Sesshoumaru, and those humans that held him back, “one stone,” a baby that was due to greatness.

Kagome huffed as Sango talked about going to find Inu-Yasha, Miroku agreeing silently. She had no plans on ever forgiving the traitor.

He had joined their enemy, had wasted their time. She had no need for him after that day, she had Kouga to help her find the shards. If they wanted Inu-Yasha so bad, she wasn’t going with them.

Yet, with all her distaste for the hanyou, the feelings remained. The fact that she loved him, with all her heart, the green eyed-monster had come out when she found out that Inu-Yasha had completed his mating. She wanted to have a family with him, to be with him.

Sighing, Kagome laid her head upon her knees as crows cawed outside until a chill ran up her spine. Staring behind her, she frowned. “I’ll be right back.” She stood up, and her friends nodded as she made her way out the front of the cave.

She couldn’t see the sun, too many clouds blocked the path, yet chills still ran up her spine. It felt like she was being watched, but she couldn’t see what. Sitting down, she stared up at the dark sky, breathing in the fresh air, another sigh escaped her lips. “I hope Sesshoumaru’s taking care of you, Inu-Yasha…”

“Is that how you really feel, girl?” A voice asked, breaking the silence. Turning around, Kagome stared at the masked figure standing next to her, body cloaked in red. “You want him, to get rid of what interferes. No worries. I can do that.” It reached out, and Kagome screamed loudly.

It was only seconds that her friends ran out of the cave, looking around to figure out what she had screamed about, only to stop and face the pale girl. She smiled sweetly, facing them once before walking towards the lake. “No worries guys, merely a mouse. Let’s go and find Inu-Yasha!”

The group nodded, uncertain with what happened, but did as told.

Fingers embraced the skin the safely protected the young puppy inside of the half demon. Across from them, playing absently in the garden left by Inu-Yasha’s mother, Rin poured water on her ‘baby sister’, humming to herself before continuing to talk.

“See Inu-Yasha! I’ll be the best baby sister ever! Sessy-sama told me all about how the demon puppy is going to come out of the soil, and that it’ll be the prettiest puppy we’ll ever see! I know it’ll be a girl, because I need a sister!”

Inu-Yasha stared up at Sesshoumaru, nuzzling his neck as they tuned out the small girl. His fingers entwined with the older demon’s as he softly whispered what she was talking about.

“It beat some bird-demon coming with our pup. Didn’t mother tell you, that you came out of her cabbage patch?”

“Cabbage patches my ass! I sat out here, every day, four nine months, trying to get a new brother.”

Sesshoumaru smiled, kissing his brother’s twitching ear, smiling inwardly. “Ah, but do you still want that brother?”

A smile played on Inu-Yasha lips as he reached up and pulled Sesshoumaru’s lips against him. “Nah, I remember screaming when I saw all those patches of growing plants, thinking they were brothers, and all I could think was ‘I only wanted one, how am I going to pick on this one if there are too many’.” He felt Sesshoumaru’s chest heave in a deep breath of the planet around him, until he suddenly froze.

“Your friends are coming this way…”

Frowning, Inu-Yasha stared at the dirt. “Are you sure it’s them?” He asked, unable to smell his friends, all he could smell was his brother’s sweet smell.

Nodding, Sesshoumaru pulled Inu-Yasha to his feet, not asking to see if Inu-Yasha was up to the run, pulled the demon on his back. “Rin, go inside.” The small girl nodded, watching as both demons were off quickly. Sesshoumaru tensed as Inu-Yasha’s nose ducked into the back of his neck, a soft tap against his back was nothing really, but gave him acknowledgement that his young puppy was growing fondly. “Stay awake, Inu-Yasha.” Sesshoumaru started purring, calming his mate’s raging pulse.

The two froze as they saw the small group of friends pull to a halt, and Sango smiled sweetly. “Inu-Yasha, you scared us!” She cried, watching as Sesshoumaru placed his mate upon the ground.

“Hey…” The hanyou whispered as the ears on his head tilted down. Sesshoumaru ran his fingers over them, bringing them both back up (mostly to show his brother how to hide emotion).

Stepping up, Sesshoumaru snorted, glaring mostly at Kouga. “You, insult my mating skills as well as my mate. I will take no excuses for your actions. Prepare to fight, boy.” He held out his claw, proving that he commended a dual.

Inu-Yasha stepped back, politely watching with his head turned down, Kagome stepped next to him, a smile on her face unlike her own. “Inu-Yasha, may we speak in private?”

Inu-Yasha tensed as her grip on his hand tightened, pulling him into the shallow end of the woods. He was confused, what was with Kagome’s strong grip?

Inu-Yasha pulled his hand back as they made it at least fifty feet from their friends, he couldn’t hear them, or see them. Good about being pregnant, being closer to his brother, cons of being pregnant, he was no better than a human with a demon form. Kagome smiled sweetly at him, but they were cold eyes, not her sweet ones that made his heart melt, it was now glaring him over.

“Why, Inu-Yasha?” She asked, her voice rose with concern. “Why Sesshoumaru? What can he give you that the other … competitors couldn’t?” She touched the hanyou’s white hair, running the silk that had been combed, through her fingers.

“I’ve always loved Sesshoumaru. He’s my nii-san.” He smiled sweetly upon the thought of that. “Siblings don’t love each other that way…” She smiled, wrapping her arms around him, and Inu-Yasha tensed. “I hold my brother like this, but does it give any feeling? No, I want to only hold you, like this.” Her fingers wrapped around his neck, nails digging into the soft skin under all of Inu-Yasha’s hair. The pregnant male growled, pulling back from her, yet her grip around his neck only tightened as their lips met with a solid kiss.

The world just seemed to stop around them as Inu-Yasha’s wide eyes watched as Kagome probed for his tongue to enter her mouth, but he made no movement, pulling his head back.

He didn’t want to yell at her, still wanted to be friends. Taking in a deep breath, Inu-Yasha found his voice, squeaking at first before retrying. “I’m not interested in you that way, anymore.”

“You saw Kikyo all those times…” Kagome glared. “Every time you think about me, you thought of her, now what about Sesshoumaru? Did you just give up on her for another, live, bone to chew on?” She walked once more near her.

Inu-Yasha glared. “What’s wrong with you, Kagome?” She only smiled at his confusion. Speaking once more, her voice changed drastically. It no longer was its soft toner, but harsh and rather masculine. “Why, Inu-Yasha? Are you scared of the truth? That you only see your brother as solitude because Kikyo doesn’t want you? Or is it the fact that so many want you that you want your ‘big’ ‘strong’ brother to save your weak and sorry ass?”

Taking another step back, Inu-Yasha took in a deep breath as his fingers met a tree, his eyes grew wide as Kagome stepped back, Naraku’s arm wrapping around her. His voice acting as her own, whispering in her ear, “sit boy.”

“Sit boy,” Kagome yelled, and Inu-Yasha screamed as his body was thrown against the ground, his arms protecting his belly. “Sit boy!” Kagome yelled, again, and Inu-Yasha’s body went lower into the dirt, the earth cracking upon his applied weight. He could feel the pressure against his radius and ulna, the pressure against him increased at the thirteenth time. He couldn’t take much more of this, there were rocks pressing against his belly, sticks digging into his body.

Naraku smiled down upon the breaking dog, foot pressing into Inu-Yasha back, preparing to snap his vertebrae. “Deny me, kept that kit alive. I could have done so much for you, but this was your choice.”

Inu-Yasha glared back up, his golden eyes full of rage as Kagome continued yelling at him to sit, he couldn’t control it anymore as he screamed. “Sesshoumaru!!!”

Kouga dodged Sesshoumaru’s claws, trying to dodge more attacks as he felt the wind blow quickly around him. “Look, this isn’t the time of day for you two to be fighting!” Miroku yelled at them.

Sango nodded, screaming out for Kouga to apologize until the whole group stopped as a piercing scream broke them into silence.

“Inu-Yasha!” Sesshoumaru yelled, taking off down the trees, he could smell Naraku the closer he got until he pulled himself to a halt, staring at the said demon pushing his foot further into the hanyou’s back. “Let him go!”

Naraku smiled, a vicious smile, his hand held up, and Kagome stop yelling the ‘magic’ words, blinking timidly to remember where she was. “She’s of no need for me any longer. I have what I came to deal with.” He pushed down against Inu-Yasha’s back, causing the hanyou to cry out in pain.

From behind Sesshoumaru, Kouga stopped in his tracks, staring over they pained puppy, lying on his stomach, arms in front of him protecting the unborn child. “Kagome!” The young maiden turned to face him, eyes wide.

Golden eyes stared up, face broken and dirty, on the verge of tears, a pained groan escaping his lips. “Nii-san!”

A fist collided with Naraku’s grin, pushing him off his lover with frenzy, Sesshoumaru pinned Naraku’s body under his, his claws piercing in the skin protecting Naraku’s four main blood veins in the neck. Blood oozed out of the wound as Naraku smiled up, not even fearing that if the attack kept up, he would be dead.

Inu-Yasha’s friends didn’t waste time to pull Inu-Yasha up, and had Kirara carry them all towards Kaede’s village.

Unknown to their disappearance, Sesshoumaru broke his enemy’s skin, his claw gaining at red tint. Even through the pain he was being inflicted upon, Naraku laughed.

“Are you that intent on killing me? Your mate is gone, again I might add. Yet, here you stand, murder-”

Sesshoumaru snapped the veins, standing up he followed the fast moving scent of his lover. Before leaving the area, he stared closely at the ground that had been cracked under so many impacts.

“Lady Kaede!!” The group yelled, forcing the elderly lady to walk out of her hut to stare at the focused group.

“Yes folks?” She smiled at the sweetly. Her gleam faded as she watched Kouga carry Inu-Yasha down off Kirara, bruised and battered. She did notice, that even unconscious, his hands still protected his young even though his arms were broken. “Take him inside, quickly.” She opened the flap to her tent, and the group started in, Kagome stopping next to her.

“Sesshoumaru should be coming soon. I, I, need to go to my world.” She turned and fled. Sango stared back at her, blinking before being pushed out of the tent by Kaede. Miroku sat next to her, stabilizing Inu-Yasha’s body as the went to work.

It was an fifteen minutes later that they heard Kouga yelling at Sesshoumaru to go away, when the flap was thrown open by the angry full demon, his eyes staring down at his mate before softening.

“Human, is he all right?” He sat next to Inu-Yasha, his hand running over the boy abdomen, checking his puppy.

“Should be, of course, you’re aware that since all his strength is going to his fetus, that he won’t be able to heal as promptly as before.”

Sesshoumaru nodded, touching his lovers concealed arms. “What did they break?” He asked.

“Both bones in his right arm and merely fractured them in his left. A few cracked ribs and lots of bruises. Besides that, he should wake up soon.” She smiled before stepping out of the room. Miroku stared at Sesshoumaru before following the priestess moves.

It was the matter of seconds when golden eyes seemed to cast open, hissing at the light that seemed to hit them. “Nii-san…” He stared at the lock of white in his vision. His brother’s smiling face, leaning down to kiss him patiently.

As their lips pulled apart, Inu-Yasha laid upon Sesshoumaru’s chest, whimpering for the touch. He was so scared; Kagome had tried to kill his child – no not Kagome, Naraku tried again. What had his baby ever done?

Sesshoumaru touched Inu-Yasha’s lips, his pinky wiping away tears from the hanyou’s cheek. “Why are you crying, Yasha?” He asked, and the younger hanyou.

Golden eyes stared up at him, unable to hold the pain out of his voice as he spoke. “They want to kill our child, is our puppy so wrong?” He whispered. Shaking his head, Sesshoumaru pressed his finger against his brother’s lips, unable to answer that. He didn’t know either. But, the human wretch was should be glad to be gone, controlled or not, she had hurt his lover, and maybe his young.

“Don’t kill me Sesshoumaru, but I don’t think sex would be a good thing in Inu-Yasha’s state of being.” Kaede walked into the hut again, bending by Inu-Yasha’s head to heal his rising fever.

Sesshoumaru nodded, kissing his mates lips as Inu-Yasha yawned, causing the Lord to smile. “Puppy,” he smiled, and Inu-Yasha smiled weakly.

“Not a puppy no longer,” Inu-Yasha stared at his growing stomach. The small bump in his stomach gave no movement as Sesshoumaru placed his hand upon the shown belly, feeling the butterfly ripples against his hand. It was light, but he could feel it. “Our puppy.” His brother grinned.

“Go to sleep, Inu-Yasha.” Kaede ordered, placing a damp cloth on his head, and Inu-Yasha nodded as his brother continued massaging his stomach. “So, have you guys thought of a name yet?” She asked, smiling brightly.

Eyes half lidded to his brother’s ministrations (pleasured by some reason that he was already hard), he grunted. Sesshoumaru smiled at the action, lowering his fingers to his brother’s belly button. Their actions were not noticed by Kaede. “We haven’t discussed it to this point. Decided at the time of birth, what seemed most appropriate. Right now, it’s our puppy.” Sesshoumaru quickened his movements, and Inu-Yasha’s mouth opened to a silent moan.

As Kaede left the tent, Sesshoumaru mounted his brother with a grin, receiving another grin from the smaller demon.

Their lips met in a demanding battle, Sesshoumaru wanting dominance, where Inu-Yasha wanted no more than a hot kiss. Their tongue ran against, wrapping and twisting until Sesshoumaru pulled away, staring down at his panting brother. His lips moved to his brother’s neck, kissing down towards the half-demon’s collar.

Spreading his legs, Inu-Yasha moaned softly, rubbing his erection against Sesshoumaru’s, the friction turning both on further.

Leaning down, Sesshoumaru used his claw to cut a strand of the cloth holding Inu-Yasha’s ribs together away, a smile pealing on his lips at the perked nipples he found. Taking one into Inu-Yasha’s nipples in his mouth, Sesshoumaru lick the perked tip, enjoying the cry that escaped his brother’s mouth. Clawed hands played against the other as Inu-Yasha begged to move his arms, his body twisting, and groans of pain escaping his lips as he moaned loudly. With a ‘pop’, Sesshoumaru pulled away from the shinny nub. His warm breath tickled his brother cold skin, lowering down towards his brother concealed cock.

Pulling his brother’s trousers down, he rubbed his brother’s hard erection, watching with arousal. Licking the boy’s tip, Sesshoumaru smiled, taking it all in, as Inu-Yasha cried out, his hips rising in the air.

“Sesshoumaru!” A voice yelled, and the demon jerked up, staring at Kaede as the elderly woman walked into the room. “Didn’t I tell you no sexual acts until of any kind until he healed?” She yelled, propping her healing berries up as Sesshoumaru redressed Inu-Yasha.

His brother glared angrily at Kaede as she started her ministrations upon his wounds.

Inu-Yasha was alone, staring out the window of his brothers, now his as well, room. Fingers easing his stomach as his baby gave small kicks – showing it existed. Whatever Kaede did, she cured him. In a month, he could move his arms as if nothing had happen, and he felt little pain in his ribs.

At that day, he was sitting on a brace chair, looking out the window at the setting son with a curse. It was to be a new moon, and he had already transformed the minute the moon made its way in the other side of the castle. His black hair trimmed down his body as the darkness over took the room. Standing up, Inu-Yasha lit all the torches in the room before sitting once more, sulking against the railing.

Sesshoumaru had left him early that morning, on an errand to another land to demand that peace remain between them, thus leaving Inu-Yasha alone and horny. He could hear Jaken, outside the room, hustling Rin to take a bath, but with no prevail as the small girl ran into the room and jumped on Inu-Yasha’s lap, carefully not touching the black-haired hanyou’s stomach. “Yasha-Chan, can I ask you something?” She whispered.

“Yes, Rin?” Inu-Yasha smiled, growing fond of the small girl as she lost her color, gulping.

“Can I touch your belly?” She whispered, and Inu-Yasha frowned, but nodded. Smiling with glee, Rin rested her hand upon his belly, cheering as a flutter touched her palm. “How does the baby get from your tummy to the cabbage patch?” Her head turned, and Inu-Yasha smiled weakly.

“Old magic.” He explained, and the girl nodded, touching his hair next. “Before you ask, I’m half demon, I turn this way.” The small girl blinked before lying next to Inu-Yasha’s head, closing her eyes. “Shouldn’t you go take your bath?” He asked, and she nodded, taking off out of the room again.

Standing up, Inu-Yasha stretched his tight muscles as his baby stopped moving, his small legs walking down, black hair moving in the wind of the castle. He needed a fresh breath as he walked towards his mother’s garden. His fingers tightened up, clenching into a fist as he sat upon the ground, curled up.

Lying back, silently, Inu-Yasha gazed up at the clouds, voices swirling in his head as his baby, still, actively moved in its compounds. It wall all too unreal, how he went from nothing, to this. He always figured he’d kill himself if he had ever gotten pregnant, but his brother was…special.

The moon light sparkled down upon his body as the dog closed his eyes, accepting how tired he was. For the first time in five months, he was active again – not throwing up while Sesshoumaru told that days plans. He could still feel Sesshoumaru’s light caresses against his belly, moving with the baby’s feathery touches, whispering his wishes for a healthy baby.

He wouldn’t be seeing his friends as much any longer – with Naraku’s demise. Besides, Inu-Yasha was beginning to look pregnant; he’d only slow his friends down.

Then, Kagome…

Inu-Yasha forced himself to hold back tears as he rubbed his nose. Sesshoumaru had used the mako’s name as a curse since she had left, even if she was unable to control her body while Naraku used her as a pawn in his own plan. He could still hear her yell sit, over and over, as his body tensed. He didn’t have to worry about that any longer; Kaede had removed the beads from his neck, giving him the freedom he once dreamed about.

Now, his dreams were haunted. He’d wake up in the middle of the night, sweating and panting, whispering for Sesshoumaru to protect him. He had never been as scared since he found out the truth on his mother. Her death still haunted him everyday; he could hear her last words, begging Sesshoumaru to take care of her baby.

Closing his mind, Inu-Yasha slept, and his mouth open slightly to taste the night air.

The pain was always so horrible, the feeling of the children, wanting to come out – but unable due to his problem with being male. Sesshoumaru laid next to him, claws easing to cut into his brother’s body, to remove the child. Inu-Yasha slept on.

He’d awaken at the cry of his baby, when the sound would erupt into fits of tears, just as he with his mother. Screaming and fighting to leave the cold world and back to their too small room where it was warm. Before the density of pigment in their eyes, pink eyes would be wide to stare up at her new father, and Inu-Yasha awoke as his brother used the stitched him together once more.

There was a sustained silence, his brother glaring over Inu-Yasha as the boy quickly would look for his baby – the scent impossible to find with the fresh of blood. “This is your fault, Inu.” It was no longer a nickname, but an insult to their kind.

“Wha’?” Inu-Yasha found his baby. Black eyes would open, and he stared into a human, yet it’s mouth would open to show fangs, obviously a hanyou, but that wasn’t why Sesshoumaru was mad.

The baby, it looked so much like Naraku, glaring at the two before it’s mouth opened. “You think you could destroy me so easy?”

Inu-Yasha jerked up, letting out a scream, until two arms wrapped around him, holding his body close, and Inu-Yasha untensed, staring up into the golden eyes of his brother’s face. “You’re home.” He whispered.

“I can go, if you desire, inu-chan.” Sesshoumaru smiled as his brother wrapped shaking arms around his body. “What was your dream of, that you fear it as so?”

Tears fell down the hanyou’s face, burying his nose into his brother’s chest. “Our baby…” He whispered. “You hated our baby, I hated our baby…Naraku was our baby!” More tears fell from Inu-Yasha’s face as his brother held tighter, massaging his belly.

Inu-Yasha laid his head back, realizing he was still in his mother’s garden, the moon still in the sky, brightening him up. His black hair wrapped in knots around his brother’s fingers as he turned around, kissing his brother deeply.

Sesshoumaru laid his little brother against the dirt, straddling the boy at their hips as his tongue probed inside his brother’s mouth, claiming his brother’s tongue in sucks. Inu-Yasha’s hips rose, brushing against his brothers as his head fell back and a moan escaped his lips.

Fingers embraced the back of Sesshoumaru’s neck as his brother began to lick his way down to his brother’s perked nipples, chilled from the night air as his brother moaned softly, allowing his brother to dominate under him.

Lips moved back up, kissing the sensitive skin behind Sesshoumaru’s ear, and Inu-Yasha whispered, huskily. “Nii-sama…” He whispered.

“Yes?” Sesshoumaru whispered as his brother licked his cheek. “Mm, Inu-Yasha,” he moaned. Leaning his lips against his brother’s ear, Inu-Yasha’s tongue played with the lobe as he spoke. “Sessy, can I be seme?” He whispered. Sesshoumaru stared at his brother, before nodding mutely. A grin plastered upon Inu-Yasha’s face as he flipped them (with Sesshoumaru’s help) so Inu-Yasha could take control of the situation.

Inu-Yasha removed his brothers white kimono, fingers tracing the pale skin hidden from the eyes of others. His tongue danced upon the skin, lowering down to his brother’s navel and dipping inside, and he could hear his brother moaning. His hands played with his brother’s side, teasing the warm skin with cold fingers, and he could hear his brother groan, whispering for some release.

Smiling, Inu-Yasha slowly slid his brother’s trousers down, staring at the erection that sprung up out of its concealed boundaries of the almost elastic pants. A soft smile escaped Inu-Yasha’s lips as a breathless whisper came after, sounding almost like “look what I found.”

His warm breath moved around the flesh, stinging it for its need. Slowly, Inu-Yasha’s pink tongue licked his brother’s tip, taking in the taste, licking his lips teasingly. Sesshoumaru smiled, running his hands in his brother’s hair, watching politely as his brother leaned down, capturing his brother’s entire erection in his mouth. Sesshoumaru let out a holler as pleasure over took him, his face flushing quickly, watching as Inu-Yasha deep throated him before stopping at his tip – leaving Sesshoumaru humping his mouth, moaning in pleasure at the warmth around him.

Fingers played with his thighs, pulling them apart further as Inu-Yasha slowly removed his lips from his brother’s hard erection, kissing the tip before lowering his head to stare at his brother’s ring. He could feel his brother tense, feeling open in the middle of the garden, but it only turned Inu-Yasha on further.

Lapping his tongue out, he touched his brother’s entrance, savoring his brother’s flesh, sweating and heated. Growing up courage, Inu-Yasha pushed his tongue into the lord’s anus, flexing his muscle around his brother’s insides – stretching him.

Sesshoumaru was in bliss, his head was tilted back as he was biting his lip to conceal his weak moans – he did not show weakness. Yet, every time Inu-Yasha would push his tongue in his body, his inner walls would tighten around his brother’s muscle. “Please, Inu-chan!” He demanded, grasping the weeping, neglected, cock between his legs.

Inu-Yasha pulled his tongue out, grabbing his brother’s hands and holding them down. “I don’t want to hurt you!” He cried, only to his brother’s ears, who puffed out a laugh.

“Like you could do that Inu-Chan.” He grinned from ear to ear. “Take me.” He smiled as Inu-Yasha positioned himself to do so.

Thrusting in, Inu-Yasha froze as his cock was swallowed by his brother, his body no longer twitching as he saw pain in his brother’s face. Sesshoumaru stared at Inu-Yasha, breathing deeply as he stretched his body for his brother’s size. Inu-Yasha kissed his brother’s lips patiently as he slowly began to thrust, aiming for his brother’s sweet spot.

Sesshoumaru yelled out, his sharp nails digging into Inu-Yasha’s back, his fangs sharpening with the mist of passion.

Both moaned loudly as their pleasure began to higher itself, their puppy participating by kicking once in awhile and heightening the pleasure on both boys’ path. Sesshoumaru could feel soft movements against his body, almost like a butterflies flutter, aiming him for release.

His teeth clasped around his brother’s neck, Inu-Yasha’s to his as both released at the same time. Inu-Yasha almost collapsed upon his brother, but reflex stopped him as he blinked weakly, feeling his baby move after what seemed hours.

It finally stopped, and he lay silently down next to his brother, watching the boy pull him up. Picking up the pregnant hanyou, Sesshoumaru made his way up to his bed chambers, to seek rest before demanding more sex for his little brother.

“Do you think we hurt the little one?” Inu-Yasha stared mutely at his brother, lying on his brother’s chest to hear the still rampaging heartbeat.

“I doubt so,” Sesshoumaru whispered, rubbing his brother’s tangled hair. “I think we need a bath.” He smiled at his brother’s blush, touching the silver hair that flowed down his brother’s back. “When did you transform back to your hanyou form again?” He muttered, and Inu-Yasha flushed.

“Around the time you were taking me from the side of the bed. I didn’t know you could push in that far, into my bowels.” The white haired mate blushed.

Sesshoumaru grinned. “You enjoy it, baby brother.” He touched his brother’s lips, sealing their pleasure.

“I still can’t believe you were a virgin! My sexy-ass brother, a virgin!” Inu-Yasha laughed out, before being pounced by an over eager brother. Hours later, their laughing almost an hour later had Rin knocking on the door to sleep in the same bed with them.

Sesshoumaru stared down at his servant, the toad that pledged his life for the demon lord was gaining a backbone. Jaken repeated what he said as he rested his pack against his back, growling that he hated having the half-demon to be around him. The demon could careless as his claws fixed out, and Jaken took off quickly.

Alone, no servants besides the few that took care of the castle during the time of leave those that had been reworked to everyday jobs, to protect his mate and adopted daughter.

Two arms wrapped around his back, a head rested against his back, faint tears going down his face. “I’m sorry,” his brother’s voice echoed through the room, breaking the silence.

“For what?” Sesshoumaru turned around and lifted his brother’s chin to lick away the tears that flowed on their own.

“You lost your friend.” Inu-Yasha whispered. “It’s my entire fault, I trouble you so. I’ve been in danger so much in the last few months.” He leaned against the warm hand near his hair, where human ears normally were.

Sesshoumaru pressed his body against his brothers, gripping the shorter male’s hips and pressing their waist together, feeling his growing puppy. If one looked from the side, they could tell Inu-Yasha was a carrier now, his stomach bulge out as a little rabbit rested inside him, yet up front and from behind, one couldn’t tell. Inu-Yasha still turned on him on, every movement his little brother pulled made Sesshoumaru as horny as could be.

“It wasn’t your fault, Inu-Chan.” Sesshoumaru kissed his brother’s lips. “He was feeling as if he wasn’t getting any attention.” He kissed his brother’s mating mark, hearing Inu-Yasha moan huskily. His body bent down once more, kissing his brother chest, tan nubs, then stopped at his brother’s belly, kissing the child. “Never put the blame on yourself. It’s my job now, to make sure nothing ever happens to you.”

Inu-Yasha nodded, allowing him to be dragged to their bedroom.

The hot water wrapped around his body, washing the tense muscles off of him. The rag that Inu-Yasha was cleaning with fell towards his belly, moving along his belly. For once, there was no movement from his baby, and Inu-Yasha was neither happy, or scared about it as he laid his head back, moving the rag to his chest, then down to the lump in his stomach.

He now knew that Sesshoumaru was always going to be gone, probably finding another mate – just as their father had done. Inu-Yasha felt fat, he was now restraining from his usual activities, having it be hard for him to do so. His back hurt the other night, because he had slept on his back that day.

It had to be that, Sesshoumaru thought he was fat, unattractive anymore. It was always the babies fault, but Inu-Yasha couldn’t find the heart to hate the child. He couldn’t leave Sesshoumaru’s home either, the fact that he’d be a forgotten mate would be as bad as a human having a bastard child. Regular demons wouldn’t want to be around him, humans would spit at his feet.

Tears fell from his eyes as he pulled his knees. Kagome was right; he was only going to find pain in his ‘brotherly’ love. Sesshoumaru was just the way he had always been, unfair and heartless. Taking off, not letting Inu-Yasha go with him. Restraining Inu-Yasha ventures outside – being that he was no longer allowed to be leaving the compounds of the castle.

Inu-Yasha eyes grew wide as he ran his hands over the baby, taking in a deep breath. His baby would most likely be full demon, or three-fourths. It wouldn’t quite be a hanyou, or if so the baby would be rejected as a lord or lady for its father’s land. It would always be Inu-Yasha fault; everything he had done would never be accepted.

Other lords and ladies would sneer at his brother for choice in mate – being a brother and hanyou. Their baby would be looked down upon, and if was a full demon would look down upon its own mother.

Tears streamed down Inu-Yasha’s face as he felt rejected, as always.

The moon had made it in the air, bringing in cold wind throughout his land as Sesshoumaru walked towards his bedroom, stressing over the other lords demands and threats. The last thing he wanted now was a war over land.

He stopped at Rin’s door, staring inside tiredly. The little girl was tucked away, smiling happily in her sleep, he could smell Inu-Yasha’s doing all around as he made it, once more, down the halls.

His mate, as expected, was resting in their room. The blankets were wrapped around his form, showing he was sleeping on his side, hugging Sesshoumaru’s pillow close.

Walking into the room, Sesshoumaru sniffled closely, the scent of salty tears were next to hit his nose, either his brother had been hurt (which he’d kill the person who dared touch his lover) or was extremely sad, which Sesshoumaru was unable to figure why his brother would be sad.

He could hear his brother’s limited breathing, under the pile of blankets; amazingly he hadn’t yet died from heat exhaustion as the summer breeze entered the room. Slowly, Sesshoumaru dropped his clothes, crawling into bed to lie under a comfort sheet and pulled his brother against him.

Inu-Yasha mumbled, pressing his head closer to his brother’s chest, smiling politely as his golden eyes opened. “Sessy, welcome back.” His lips pressed against Sesshoumaru’s forehead, but his brother felt no real feeling behind those words as his brother laid his head done once more.

“Are you all right, Inu-Chan?” Sesshoumaru rubbed his brother’s head, watching as his child brother began to purr, ears twitching on his head as claws played with behind his ear. He could feel his brother’s leg begin to twitch, a grin marking his characteristics that his brother never fled from his primal canine instincts like most demons.

“Yes, Sesshoumaru, everything is fine.” The half-demon laid closer to his older brother, his growing stomach touched against his older brother as sustained silence echoed the room once more.

“No it isn’t.”

“What do you mean?”

Sitting up, Sesshoumaru frowned at his brother, watching as Inu-Yasha pulled the blankets from his growing body. “You’re hiding something from me, and I don’t like it. Speak Inu-Yasha, now.”

His brother sat up, wrapping his arms around his legs. “No!” He growled. “I don’t have to.” He yelled as his brother, “You’re not my mother.”

Pinning his brother down upon the bed, Sesshoumaru stared down. “I’m your mate, rather equal don’t you think?” He touched his brother’s neck with his lips. “Now, what’s wrong?”

“Nothing Sesshoumaru.” Inu-Yasha whimpered as his hips rose against his brother, desire over ranking whatever had him upset.

“Stop that!” Sesshoumaru growled.

“What?” Inu-Yasha stared up, his innocence over calculating everything being said.

“You dropped all your pet names for me. Never, since we were little puppies, have you called me ‘Sesshoumaru’. What ever happen to those names?”

Inu-Yasha blinked before turning his back from his brother. “You leave all the time, because I’m fat-”

“I’m not leaving you, it’s all political! And, you’re not fat! You’re pregnant, there’s a difference.” He hugged his brother, but Inu-Yasha didn’t return it.

“Kagome was right,” Inu-Yasha whispered.

Sesshoumaru sighed, licking his brother’s tears. “She’s never right, Inu-Chan.” He patched up another problem, frowning as his brother’s lips opened to speak again.

“She was, we could never remain mates, we’re brothers, oni-chan. People will always look down upon us because of what we are. I want to be with you, but I don’t like people who harass us.”

“Nobody is.” Sesshoumaru whispered. “Thanks, koinu-chan.” He watched as his brother’s eyes closed. “Our baby will be accepted, as will we. As long as we produce an heir – half or demon – we’ve accomplished what is needed. Now sleep brother…” He held his brother close, hearing Inu-Yasha breathing.

“What if we do have a hanyou baby…” Inu-Yasha whispered.

Rolling his eyes, Sesshoumaru bit his brother’s ear, allowing the yelp to show he had won. “We’ll love the baby, just as if it were full. I love you, so I’ll love the child as well.” Sesshoumaru kissed his brother’s ear once more, watching the flesh twitch.

“Stop that.”

“No.” Sesshoumaru blew his breath against his brother’s ear, smiling as it twitched, Inu-Yasha’s head swinging back in forth to escape the soft whirlwind in his ear. His legs braced up, pushing against Sesshoumaru’s chest, kicking his older brother off the bed harshly.

He didn’t get the reaction he was expecting; instead his brother broke out into a pure laugh, his voice moving through the room huskily. “You don’t have to worry about me, Yasha.” Sesshoumaru pressed his nose into Inu-Yasha’s mane. “I would give up everything just to protect you, Inu-Chan, I would kill anybody who laid a finger upon you.” He once more lay in bed, Inu-Yasha in his arms, fresh tears leaking down the boy’s face.

“I don’t deserve you, nii-sama…” Inu-Yasha whispered, head against Sesshoumaru’s chest.

“That’s my line, Inu-Chan.”

The sun had risen in the air of the sky as the small family of three walked down the path towards the small lake at the base of the hill. It was really old, yet it seemed to only be larger each day as the family sat upon a ground near a rock that had seen its years of erosion, a small picnic basket rested upon the hip of the younger figure.

Inu-Yasha smiled at his brother, comforting his body near his older brother’s with a giggle that had wished to escape. “Just like when mother took us.”

“Father never had time, but I will make time for my family.” Sesshoumaru whispered back as he watched Rin jump towards the pond. “Don’t wear yourself out, lunch will be soon.” He smiled, and the small girl nodded enthusiastically.

The small Inu allowed his body to sit next to his brother under the warm sky as he grinned maliciously. “Are we going to watch her all day?” Inu-Yasha asked, standing up and removed his tunic – not daring to strip with the little girl around.

Sesshoumaru blinked his stood up with his brother, curious to where the younger hanyou was going. His body tensed as his brother, causally, dunked himself into the pond – and his heart stopped as the smaller male dunked into the water and swam. “Inu-Yasha! Our Puppy!” He stood up, jumping in the water to stop his brother’s laps.

The smaller male was pulled up quickly, making cough and choke softly. “Sesshoumaru, I want to run, I want some exercise! I’m weightless!” He started to swim again, his laps being shared with the hyperactive Rin as Sesshoumaru stood there, drenched.

He couldn’t say no to Inu-Yasha, his brother had been so sweet into walking to the village and buying food, made a picnic for his new family. It was suppose to be a day to remember.

Yet, the thought of such exhaustion placed upon his brother scared Sesshoumaru to no end. He had seen village women die due to being exhausted from exercise. If the wife didn’t die, the child did, and Sesshoumaru was not going to have that happen.

The small inu stopped, leaning back against the edged rock, holding his stomach, and Sesshoumaru ran (under the weightlessness of the water), to his side.

“I told you not to swim Inu-Yasha.” Sesshoumaru growled, holding his brothers stomach, hoping to calm what little pain his brother was in. His brother laughed.

“No, Sess,” the boy started, taking Sesshoumaru’s hands and running them to the side of his belly. “Our puppy’s kicking.” He smiled as his brother’s eyes rose up – touching the miracle. “She liked that little swimming session.”

“She?” Sesshoumaru blinked.

“Yes, she. I doubt it’s a male – the child’s up all the time.”

Sesshoumaru scoffed. “Hardly. Such powerful kicks say a male! My son, your son, our son!” He spoke powerfully, his chest puffed out to prove his point, and Inu-Yasha rolled his eyes.

“Whatever.” He turned to Rin. “Boy or girl?” He smiled, and the girl tapped her chin.

“Girl!” He grinned, turning to Sesshoumaru.

“She doesn’t count.” Sesshoumaru smiled, and Inu-Yasha slapped his shoulder. “Anyway, let’s go and eat. I, for that matter, wish to see what my little mate has concocted.”

Skipping towards the ‘beach’, Inu-Yasha grinned. “Mostly your cock.”

Kagome stared at the blank television in her room, not bothering to turn it on, her arms tightly wrapped around her pink pillow. She felt sick.

Her mutual hatred to Inu-Yasha’s love choice – it being not her – had caused her to hurt him, and her offspring. If she were to ever return to the past, she’d be hunted and killed.

Pushing tears from her eyes, she laid down upon her other pillow as her bedroom door opened, her mother pushing her head in. “Kagome-chan, are you feeling okay today?” She asked.

Kagome shook her head no, tuning her mother out as she turned her back to face her wall.

“I went shopping for baby supplies for Inu-Yasha. I’m still rather shocked that he’s pregnant, but do give him my regards and happy future. There’s a card in the bag of, as asked a few weeks ago, washable diapers since they don’t use disposable. I also added wipes. There’s a baby crib still in its box so his, mate was it? Yes, mate. So his mate wouldn’t have to buy a crib or share the bed with a small infant.” She stopped, walking towards her daughter. “Are you sure everything is fine in the past?”

Frowning, Kagome nodded. “I just…decided to stay home and work on getting my grades up. My own future is important.” She smiled as her mother nodded.

“Well, if you do plan to visit Inu-Yasha, tell him I said Hi. I’ve missed having him come around just to pull you into the past – I never get tired of his ears or the fact that he likes the food I do set out.” She smiled, walking out of the room as Kagome snorted.

Inu-Yasha wasn’t going to ever come back, and he definitely wouldn’t want to come back. Even if he did, he’d be upset for her to try and buy his forgiveness.

Closing her eyes, the girl slept a full night sleep – her dreams haunted by her ex-friend’s screams of pain.

Inu-Yasha walked towards the kitchen, stocked up with dry foods up to the point with the meat. His brother hunted in the morning, brining in that days kill, and Inu-Yasha (being the perfect mate that he tried to be), cooked it. Over the years of being alone, he had learned to cook – if he dared be feed at all.

But, he wasn’t always alone. He remembered the two kids that had found him when he was a pup himself. They had to keep him in the chicken coop, since the mother had screamed and fainted when she first saw him. Of course, several chickens disappeared – and Inu-Yasha was always full, but they couldn’t blame him for the live stock disappearing.

The boy had learned to sleep in harsh climates; the kids had given him blankets, and had taken care of him until they had grown up into teenagers. The remembered the little girl, forgetting that he was a refugee in her chicken coop, and had ran off with a boy, never coming home again.

The farmer’s son took great deal to Inu-Yasha, until he too forgot that the half-demon had feelings. Once the boy took over the farm for his father, he chased the hanyou out from the chicken coop, long forgetting their friendship. He claimed Inu-Yasha was the reason for his sister’s death, as well as his parents. The hanyou could remember the rocks thrown at him until he had made it into the safety of the woods.

He never could stand humans after that, and he couldn’t stand his brother. His older brother, the one that promised to protect, never came to save him – never looked for him. Inu-Yasha had forgotten all about that, lowering it into his forgotten memories.

Leaning against the wall, Inu-Yasha touched his belly, his eyes closing silently. He couldn’t trust anybody. Demons despised hanyou’s, and humans despised anything that was close to a demon. That was when he had meet Kikyo, and had fallen in love with the human; she had let him see a whole new light.

Then, she ‘betrayed’ him. Stuck him to that tree of life, and in his sleep, he could still see his brother, playing in his head, his life going by. He hated every nightmare, struck knives at his brother, wished for Kikyo to die for what she had done for him, and once more hated humans for who they were.

Every love of his life, betrayed him one way or another. Sesshoumaru didn’t look for him, Kikyo attacked him, and Kagome hated his choices.

Touching his belly, Inu-Yasha smiled. “Well, not anymore. Sesshoumaru doesn’t hate me. He says that every night, and you will never hate me. Maybe if my past had been perfect, I wouldn’t be so happy now.” He grabbed some food and sat near the back door to stare at the moon.

Sesshoumaru stopped at the well, staring down upon it. He doubted he could make it through, but he wanted to try. He wanted to slay the girl that had hurt his brother. He stared once more at the well, and felt a pang in his heart as he sat upon the dirt with a frown.

His brother was hurt, but he couldn’t kill the girl, he promised Inu-Yasha (he didn’t see why though). The small mako had turned his life upside down by joining forces with Naraku, and now his brother was having nightmares every night. It was all her fault.

He couldn’t live like this; his brother was driving him crazy. Every passing day, he had to make sure his brother was content – he felt horrible. He had given up everything just to protect his brother, and it scared him dearly. At first, he lived to protect his father’s lands, yet there he was make sure his brother walked around safely. Making sure other demons didn’t hurt his brother.

It hurt him to say that when his brother vanished, he was rather happy. He didn’t have to be responsible for the small life that everybody cared so much about. Everybody swooned over the innocently life, those large golden eyes that asked question after question on the world around him.

Memory served right, Inu-Yasha had been able to sleep in the same bed with his parents if he had a nightmare, where Sesshoumaru was told to back to his room and fight off the night.

Every repulsion to his brother’s favoritism had driven Sesshoumaru to such lengths of insanity. His parents ordering him to look further for his brother for twelve weeks, normally he slacked off and swam, then spent a while drying off while walking the lanes of the village until he would go home and explain his search as unsuccessful. His parents bought it; he had dinner, took a bath, and then went to bed.

Years later, he had found his brother. The once innocent eyes had become cold, and he cared no longer for anybody. He didn’t asked questions, and hated to be asked. What he said had to be done, and he’d kill anybody in his path – and Sesshoumaru wanted him.

There was no sweet boy anymore, one that had walked the halls of the house, but an assassin that turned Sesshoumaru on. There was also the fact that his brother had the sword that he wanted, it was unfair since the boy had been so far recorded ‘dead’.

Sesshoumaru blinked back the memories, turning away from the well. He couldn’t kill the girl; he had brought so much to his brother as well from selfish wants. Never again would he do so, he loved his brother so much, and he was stuck with his brother until death. In the next generation, they would be remembered.

His head hurt.

That’s what he awoken to; a pressure in his temples that just wouldn’t go away. With each second, another burst of pressure hit him and he would close his eyes tightly. Fingers ran around his eyebrows, pushing soaked hair from his face, but Sesshoumaru couldn’t remember going near water.

A groan escaped his lips as he tried to sit up, but a firm hand kept his weak form down as his brother’s soft voice whispered in his ear, “Go back to sleep, nii-sama, you’re running a temperature.”

“’Yasha?” Sesshoumaru whispered as he suddenly covered his ears. Had he always been that loud?

Inu-Yasha kissed his brother’s nose, holding the older inu close. “I’m here, Sessy.” He touched his brother’s hands. “I want you to rest though, or you’ll never get better.”

Sesshoumaru sniffed the air; he could smell a broth of some kind, and his answers all came as a spoon was placed against his paled lips. His mouth opened, accepting the food – in no mood to fight back. “I cannot stay here, ‘Yasha.” He tried getting up once more, but his brother held him down. “I’m not joking; I have a meeting with the wolf demons to get their pack off my land.”

Inu-Yasha rubbed his nose into his brother’s mane, his nose taking in his brother’s sickly scent. “You just rest, I’ll go for you.”

“You are in no condition to travel.” Sesshoumaru touched his brother’s stomach.

“AhUn can take me.” Inu-Yasha stared down. “As spare to our land, it is my duty to take over what you cannot. Also, as your mate, it’s my job to make sure you don’t do anything that could hurt you.” He watched as his brother laughed, before shaking his head.

“You’re not going, ‘Yasha, now fetch my boots.” Sesshoumaru sat up, but his brother didn’t move. As Sesshoumaru stood on his own two feet, the world spun around him, and by luck, his brother caught him.

Giving a glare, Inu-Yasha laid his brother down once more, fixing the rag on his head. “Stay.”

“What am I, a dog?” Sesshoumaru joked, and his brother merely rolled his eyes. “Fine, go. Get them off my land, ‘Yasha. If they dare attack you, turn tail and run.”

“What’s with those references?” Inu-Yasha stared up, but his brother ignored him by slapping the half-demon on the ass.

“Go, ‘Yasha, before I change my mind.”

Smiling, Inu-Yasha jumped his brother, giving the older a male a sloppy kiss before running out of the room – to the best of his ability. Sesshoumaru shook his head, touching the meal that rest, forgotten, on the bedside table. The door slid open as Rin stuck her head in, sniffling softly.

“’Yasha says you’re sick, are you going to die?” She whispered, and Sesshoumaru scoffed.

“Course not.” He reached for the bowl to finish eating as the small girl ran to his side on the bed.

AhUn stared down at the small demon that pulled on his back, the half demon mumbling as they started down the many paths in search for the clan of wolves. Inu-Yasha couldn’t see why his brother was being picky on him going, it was easy.

All the packs, one way or another, led back to Kouga. Most likely, Kouga was there, waiting for him. He stared up as they froze in the middle of the dirt path, and Inu-Yasha crawled down slowly, so he wouldn’t hurt himself. Making it towards the waterfall hills, he could hear Kouga, laughing and talking rudely.

His footsteps were heard, and the pack turned to face the intruder as arms wrapped around Inu-Yasha’s, pinning him, but the half-inu’s voice strained out deadly. “If you dare touch me, and my mate finds out, you won’t live much longer.” The grip around his arms loosened as the hanyou fell forward, catching him.

He heard snickering as he stared up to face Kouga, and the boy stood straight up, hearing the pack gasp at his grown belly. Kouga, daringly, touched – but Inu-Yasha didn’t withdraw as he stared at the dark brown eyes.

“Sesshoumaru wants you off his land.” Inu-Yasha muttered, steadily as he stopped Kouga from transferring any kind of power to his child.

“Really?” The wolf demon inquired, leaning towards Inu-Yasha’s face. “So he sends his pregnant brother to transfer the message. Good one.”

“You should leave,” Inu-Yasha warned as AhUn walked to his side. “Sessy-sama has his companions all towards protecting me, so tell your, uh, kits…to drop their weapons.”

Kouga nodded to his pack, withdrawing his hand to lead the tired hanyou in his ‘home’, his lips twitching in amusement. “Have you heard anything from Kagome?” He smiled.

Inu-Yasha shook his head. “Not at all. She’s hid herself well.” He stared at Kouga, before roughing his face up to look serious. “You need to get off Sesshoumaru’s land, he will not think to kindly when he is able to proceed to his plans.”

“And why are you here, and not pretty-lord, Sesshoumaru.” Kouga smiled, leaning against a wall.

“He has taken ill,” Inu-Yasha frowned, “two days ago, and finally awoke. Doesn’t even realize how long he’s been asleep. I refused to let him come out here in his condition.”

Nodding, Kouga smiled, turning to his pack. “We’re leaving a midnight, gather the men.” He stared back at the hanyou. “I didn’t expect you of all people to fall into the role of ‘mate’ and ‘lady’ of the lord’s castle, and still hold your brotherly duties. Must be stressful in what, this is your sixth month?”

“Hai,” Inu-Yasha nodded. “Six months, and the puppy’s as restless as ever.”

Kouga grinned, a silent laugh escaping him. “Only girls are restless.”

“Sesshoumaru will always want a son. He believes this one is his heir.”

The wolf demon shook his head, smiling half heartedly. “I bet it’s a girl. Knowing your luck and all.” He stared up, fingers playing with his strands of hair. “A little early to ask, but, are we going to be invited to the child’s ritual after birth?” He smiled, and Inu-Yasha shrugged.

“Not sure. Sesshoumaru and I haven’t thought that far.” Inu-Yasha smiled as Kouga stared at the sky. “I’d best be going before it rains.”

“It’s been raining often recently,” Kouga nodded. “Not always a good sign, harvest has almost struck bad.”

Inu-Yasha nodded slowly. “I just feel the storm is the coming off bad, besides just the weather.” He stopped staring at the moon as a hand cupped his chin.

Kouga smiled full heartedly as he looked into his ‘rivals’ eyes, touching the boy’s face cautiously. “Never think the way most do around these last few months, mutt. It’s only lies.” He leaned his face in, capturing the surprised Inu’s lips.

Inu-Yasha couldn’t react as he heard AhUn start making a racket – knowing what was going wrong, but Inu-Yasha couldn’t pull back as the wolf deepened the kiss. Tears strained the sides of his eyes as he pulled back, touching his lips with the back of his hand.

He never spoke as he stepped towards AhUn; the creature lifted him upon its back before making it away from the wolves.

Kouga merely smiled as he turned back to instruct his wolves. “Sesshoumaru is very foolish indeed.”

Inu-Yasha rode home in silence, his fingers never left his lips, even when AhUn licked him to try and hide the scent that Kouga had left on the boy. One wanted to cry, the other wanted to know if his master would be nice enough to revive him after killing him for letting the enemy as close to the mate as he been.

The half hanyou climbed off AhUn’s back, making it towards the castle quietly. The rain was starting, but he didn’t care – he had many flights of stars awaiting him. It was one of the few things that he couldn’t stand with being pregnant.

Slowly, Inu-Yasha stepped into his mate’s bedroom, eyes upon the floor. He made his way to his brother, who was sitting at the desk, studying up on some type of history. “How did it go, dear little brother?”

“Kouga said they’ll be gone by midnight.” Inu-Yasha pressed his cheek against his brother’s, checking the older male’s temperature. With a smile, the hanyou pulled away, plucking his brother’s cheeks. “Nice to see you’re doing better.”

“Hm.” Sesshoumaru’s lips pressed against Inu-Yasha’s, ones he was only allowed the claim, yet he pulled away, as if something wasn’t right, and Inu-Yasha lost his color. His brother just shrugged it off, having no energy to ask questions as he shoved his clawed finger near his brother’s gums, pulling the demon’s lip up to look at his canine.

“They are coming in perfectly.”

“Hm?” Inu-Yasha asked, staring at his brother as his mouth was left alone by the intruding finger.

His brother smiled nicely, pulling his brother against his lap, straddling the small boy. “The coming brother, the coming.”

“Ne?” Inu-Yasha tilted his head. That was one he hadn’t heard.

Sesshoumaru shook his head, pushing the strain his brother was placing upon him away. “You’re becoming more demon, dear brother. As your body accommodates to the child, you will grow rather close to your completion. Your ears, they shall always remain the same, but your visual strength has risen. You haven’t realized, but your claws are sharper – probably to nail me to death when you go into labor. Your teeth have also sharpened, and it seems you are in heat all the time.”

“Is that why I think of you, ‘little’ you and the bed most of the time?” His face flushed, and Sesshoumaru couldn’t hold a snort.

“You didn’t call it little a week ago.”

“You’re big Sesshoumaru, that’s the ‘not quite as big, but thick and long’ Sesshoumaru.” Inu-Yasha giggled as his brother tossed his body on the bed, jumping his brother to show what truly was ‘little’.

“Okay! I know, Mariko if a girl, Zif if a boy!” Miroku held his arms up in the air, irritating Inu-Yasha even more. The half demon was sitting on Kaura’s back, staring at the many trees in front of them.

It was Sesshoumaru’s order for his mate not to walk, or spend that much time on his legs. Inu-Yasha was trying to get down, but would always receive a slap on the ass for doing so from Sango.

It was nice to get out with his friends, after so long. The sunshine did nice on him. Stretching his arms, Inu-Yasha groaned. He was tried of Miroku’s attics on naming the baby. They had choice not to do so until the moment of birth, it was his right. “Shut up, Miroku, or I’ll have Sesshoumaru maim you when we get back.” He rubbed his belly. It bulged out at this point of time, expected during his seventh month.

Well, he wasn’t going to lie in bed, as Sesshoumaru wanted him to do. After preparing the breakfast, Inu-Yasha had heard his friends yell for him. He had thought they never wanted to see him.

Shippou held his arms in the air cheering as Miroku called out two other names, and Inu-Yasha tossed a rock at the brunet. “We’re just trying to help, Inu-Yasha!” The fox smiled. “Besides, you are more alive than when we left earlier. More alive.”

“I did so wrong, recently. I left the Tetsusaiga somewhere.” The dog-stared down, fingers in his hand. “I can’t tell Sesshoumaru that, he had planned on handing the Tetsusaiga down to first born male. It’s not going to happen now.”

“Where was the last time you saw it?” Sango stared up

“I don’t remember.” Inu-Yasha stared down at her. Shippou stared at the tension before dismounting his free ride to run to the first open hut. Inu-Yasha stayed behind, not moving from where he sat, hands on his stomach. He squinted once, feeling his lower stomach tighten – just as it had done that day before. Actually, often. It didn’t last long, but it hurt.

Sango walked back out, handing a mango up to the white haired hanyou, who took it slowly, sucking on the juices to ease the cramping that slowly faded away. “Can you tell me something, Inu-Yasha?”

The hanyou stared down, nibbling on the edge of the fruit as he began to message his belly, the child kicking his bladder. “Yes?”

“What’s it like, you know, having another life inside of you?” She stared down.

“I don’t really notice, until I try to go the bathroom, or put on my pants. Like it’s not even there.” The child kicked his bladder again. “Sometimes.” He muttered, rubbing his belly again as he took another bite of his food. “Why do you ask?”

“Oh, you know, for the future. Incase I decide to bare young.” Sango smiled, her hands laid behind her with each step. “If I’d be a good mother, give the child love. Do you ever fear you’d lose the child, that it’d never like you, that you’ll put the child down and never find it?”

“Yes, Yes, and no.” Inu-Yasha muttered. “I could smell my child for distances. I can sense when it’ll want me. Between you and I, I don’t think Sesshoumaru’s ready for another child running around.”

Sango giggled. “Yeah, I’ve realized that about him. He doesn’t look like the fatherly type. I know he’ll grow into it. Give him time.”

“I have.” Inu-Yasha grinned, watching Miroku grab the hyper Shippou and drag him back. “I have.”

Sesshoumaru carefully watched his steps, sniffing the area around him. He wasn’t hunting; Inu-Yasha had hired the original staff of his castle during his time of leave. People were cooking for the three occupants, cleaning, and hunting. Sesshoumaru hated it – but he had only rid them of their jobs when we started his long journey.

No, he had sensed and unwanted life in his land. A toad to be more direct. He knew he shouldn’t have let the frog walk away living, but he wasn’t in the mood for being ‘direct’ to the green creature. Now, Jaken was crawling back.

He turned as leafs began ruffling behind him, the frog stared up, hands behind him, dragging something. “Master Sesshoumaru.”

“Do not call me that.” Sesshoumaru took a step towards the frog.

“Please don’t kill me lord, I deliver a gift!” The frog pulled his arms in front of his lithe body. The Tetsusaiga lay in his arms, it wasn’t harmed, but slowly rusting from a great deal of rain. The lord took a step towards the frog, and Jaken jumped back, protecting his head. “I found it sire! Over in the clearing of the lake! Some human was playing with it, had played with it for months now! Inu-Yasha did not … I mean, it wasn’t in the best of care, and should be returned to the rightful care owner.” The frog smiled up.

Sesshoumaru bent down, picking up the sword with a frown. His eyes never left the frog, staring at him with plea. “Is there any thing else before I kill you as the traitor you are?”

Jaken jumped back, protecting his head once more. “I apologize, Lord Sesshoumaru for the actions I had placed upon you due to your mate. Please permit me back, I will be as humble to both you and the…I mean, you’re mate.” He opened an eye. “For years to come, I will serve, not just you, but your heir. I will be nice to that human, Rin!” Sesshoumaru turned, his grip tightening on the sword in his hands.

The frog smiled, following his master towards the castle when the demon turned to face him. “When did I invite you back? I was giving you time to run. Since you take not that offer, your existence is no longer of need.” He took the small sword, lifting it towards the toad.

“No lord Sesshoumaru! I brought it back! Lord Sesshou-” His body collapsed as Sesshoumaru allowed the blade to rest to his side, before turning back along his way to clean the sword and present it to his lover.

Sesshoumaru stepped into his room, staring at his little brother, trying to pull out of the confines of his trousers – with little prevail. Every once in awhile, a line of curses sounded through the room, causing the older demon the grin.

Walking into the room, he watched as Inu-Yasha’s ears perked, turning to face the older male. “Ah, nii-sama, hello. Did you have a good day?” The boy smiled.

“Yes. Yes I did.” Sesshoumaru reached behind his brother, pulling two of the four pillows down to show an arc. In a careful movement, he laid Inu-Yasha upon it, making sure the arc on his back was set so the small inu wouldn’t be hurt. His brother smiled, allowing his arms to rest in his brother’s hair as he brought the older male up for a chaste kiss.

They pulled apart, smiling sweetly as Sesshoumaru’s own hands undid the strings around his brother’s hips, removing the trousers with ease after words. He laid a kiss on his brother’s stomach, feeling it move upon his lips, the child kicking – and he received a laugh from his brother.

Sesshoumaru repeated the motion, his mouth falling upon his brother’s belly, dipping his tongue in the crease, and received a moan from the younger boy. Inu-Yasha’s clawed hands played with Sesshoumaru’s hair, tangling in the coils as his older brother repeated the action a few more times before pulling up. Moving his hands over his baby brother’s stomach, Sesshoumaru began to message his brother’s stomach.

“I have a surprise for you Inu.” Sesshoumaru smiled, watching his brother moan in reply. “Jaken returned, baring the Tetsusaiga at hand. I had it recovered, due to the rust in fractures.” He pressed his lips to his brothers as the younger pulled him roughly into another kiss. He couldn’t help but wonder if his brother heard anything he had said.

The Inu smiled politely, lying back against his arc. He held his clawed hand out, grasping his brother’s hand. “Love, nii-sama, I love you. I don’t remember leaving it, but I know I left it in some of the huff somewhere. It wasn’t in horrible shape? It’d be a symbol that I dishonor father.”

“Just a little bit of rust and toad scent. Cleaned.” He kissed his brother’s neck, listening to the moan that escaped his brother. “How did your trip with your friends go?”

Some of his brother’s color became lost, but he smiled anyway. “It was all right. Miroku is trying to name the baby, Shippou loves touching the baby, and every time I tried to walk, Sango would slap my ass to get back up, no thanks to you.” He color regained as he pulled his brother into another kiss.

“Oi, Yasha. No sex tonight. Don’t have the time.” Sesshoumaru rubbed his brother’s stomach. “Last time you complained about back problems the next day. I can’t handle hurting you again.” He sat up, staring down at his brother. Believe it or not, Inu-Yasha was starting to like a woman, minus the breast and vagina. One hand caressed his belly, easing his child, eyes closed, face flushed. “Yasha, Yasha.” He kissed his brother’s lips.

“Sesshoumaru, what was that song that mama use to sing to me…” the white haired inu moaned, and Sesshoumaru blinked.

“I was never around you or your mother. Remember, I disliked father’s new mate. I wouldn’t know.”

“Would you like me to sing it for you?”

“Go ahead.” Sesshoumaru sat back, pulling his brother against him as soft, pink, lips pressed against his ear.

Inu-Yasha’s soft breath turned him on, he held in his breath as the boy’s soft voice came clearly to him. “Furikaeru to Itsumo kimi ga waratte kureta. Kaze no you ni sotto. Mabushi sugite Me wo tojite mo ukande kuru yo. Namida ni kawatteku. Kimi dake wo shinjite Kimi dake wo kizutsukete.” He paused, catching in his breath.

“Continue Yasha.”

“Bokura wa Itsumo Haruka haruka tooi mirai wo Yumemiteta hazu sa. Tachidomaru to Nazeka kimi wa utsumuita mama. Ame no you ni sotto. Kawaranai yo Ano hi kimi to deatta hi kara. Namida ni kawatte mo. Kimi dake wo mitsumete Kimi dake shika inakute. Bokura wa Itsumo Haruka haruka tooi mirai w. Yumemiteta hazu sa. Yumemiteta hazu sa.” The half demon took in a deep breath, his voice shaking as he leaned against his brother’s shoulder.

“Dear brother, I didn’t know you could sing.” Sesshoumaru smiled, rubbing his brother’s stomach, receiving no movement.

“I don’t like to because bastards like you will say smart ass comments.”

“Wasn’t thinking of any.” Sesshoumaru grinned, pulling his brother close to him. “I love you, Inu-Yasha.”

“I love you more, nii-sama.” Inu-Yasha closed his eyes, his words from earlier still floating the room.

“Sesshoumaru!”

The full demon pushed his little brother off his arm as he finished pulling on his tunic. The wolf pack had returned, and it angered Sesshoumaru to no end. Now, his little brother wasn’t letting him go to work. “Not now, ‘Yasha!” He stood up, walking towards the door.

Running towards his older brother, Inu-Yasha reached for his hand again. “Please, Sesshoumaru I need you here. It’s really important!” He puffed as he ran down the steps after his brother’s strides. Damn this pregnancy.

“Whatever it is, Inu-Yasha, it can wait!” Sesshoumaru jumped towards a tree, and Inu-Yasha let out a angered yell, slamming his hands into the ground, tears sliding down his face.

He could feel hands brushing the tears away from his eyes as he stared at the small girl, who stared at him widely. “Are you okay, ‘Yasha?” Rin asked, pushing more tears from the crying hanyou’s face.

The hanyou shook his head, whimpering as he touched his stomach. “I need him here, Rin.” He whispered. “It’s really important, I can’t see why he doesn’t sense it.” He sniffled, squinting his eyes as his mouth fell open.

“See what?” Rin asked, blinking as she bent down near the half-demon. “Is the baby causing problems?” She whispered, and Inu-Yasha nodded.

“Yes, it wants out. Rin-chan, find a midwife among the servants, please.” Inu-Yasha stood up. He was in pain, but he wasn’t going to let it kill him yet. He hissed as his body tensed, demanding removal. The child wanted out where it couldn’t get out. If he didn’t do something quick he would kill the baby and himself.

In the matter of seconds, he found himself brought back to his room, a young woman smiled sweetly at him as he was told to lie back. A crushing pain arched his back as he cried out, his body twisting and straining. “Stop it!” He yelled, and she nodded. Smoothly she went through a bag that had been safely placed under the bed a month before, scavenging through the bag as she pulled out a clear bottle and rag. She dabbed the scented oil upon the material before walking towards the inu.

“Take a deep, steady breath.” She placed it against Inu-Yasha’s nose, and the Inu did as told. He felt his eyelid droop; a movement from his belly was the last feeling that hit his nerves as he slept. The young woman stared around the items she had placed as the drug worked her ‘patient’. It wasn’t her first time to cut open and receive the child, but it was a first with a demon – her lord’s ‘lady’ at that.

Rin stood silently, staring at the lady that pulled out a small knife, cleansing it with oil before slowly pulling down some of Inu-Yasha’s pants. The small girl stared bewildered as the blade of the knife was placed against the skin. “Rin-sama, I need you to use that towel to control the blood.”

The woman sliced a slit into the lord’s belly, and as planned not much blood arose from the wound, she stretched slowly as she slowly slid her hands in, eyeing the lord. The labored male twitched, his body twitched as her hands reached further, before pulled out the child. “Quickly, Rin-Chan!! A towel, don’t touch the child’s skin with your hands.” She handed the child to the outstretched wool towel, and Rin pulled the baby close as Inu-Yasha was sewn back together.

“Why mustn’t I touch the baby?” Rin stared up, blinking steadily. “Sessy-sama said that when the baby was born, I could help ‘Yasha-kun take care of the child.” She placed the toweled baby upon the side chair.

“It’s a demon’s baby, look at the ear, those eyes. If touched besides its parents around birth, the parent will kill others. The baby will simply pick up another’s scent, drawling over their weaker scent. It would be as if the child was never theirs.” She pulled up the half-demon’s pants, the wound all ready curing, Inu-Yasha moaning past the drug, coming through to conscious.

“Oh.” Rin smiled, staring down at the baby one last time before running out of the room quickly. “I want to see if my cabbage patches are gone!” The young woman blinked, staring at the retreating girl before smiling sweetly.

“Innocence.”

Sesshoumaru slammed Kouga against the wall, letting the demon drop. The brunette glared up, his arm touched his shoulder, blood swelling before stopping quickly, his leg shot up, slamming into the Lord’s face, but Sesshoumaru nimbly jumped away.

“This isn’t about us returning, is it Fluffy Ass?” Kouga grinned as he dodged the sword thrown his way. He knew what it was all about, and to amuse the situation more, he was joking with Sesshoumaru. The Lord was not enjoying it one bit.

Slamming his claw into the wolf demon’s face, Sesshoumaru glared as Kouga stepped back. “You kissed Inu-Yasha! I thought you had feelings for that mako, but now you’ve crossed the line.” He stepped closer, and Kouga grinned.

“He isn’t my type, was hoping he’d hit me or something. Submissive bastard.” Kouga let out a cry as he was tossed against the wall, glaring over the angry lord.

Sesshoumaru’s claws dug into the wolf’s throat, lifting the man off his feet, turning blue as he grasped hold of the lord’s wrist. His legs began to kick, fighting to get loose, to gain oxygen that wouldn’t come. Sesshoumaru’s voice strained into his ear. “If you dare touch Inu-Yasha again, I will paint my home with your blood. Never touch my mate again, or my child.”

His arm let go as the wolf demon collapsed to the ground, holding on to his throat as air entered his lungs to fast, not realizing he could breath. He gasped, panted, and then stared up with sour eyes. “I wouldn’t touch him. He was vulnerable at the moment. Smelled of need – figure you were sick to not notice. It didn’t go away, and he didn’t realize it. The baby cried for attention, and Inu-Yasha’s body was reacting to the need. It’s eight months now, the normal demon carriers pregnancy is almost over. I’d expect you would be with him at all times at this point, but look where I find you, fighting me.”

A smug look fell upon Kouga’s face as he stood up. “If you realized, only I return to your land. I was coming to see Inu-Yasha, but you won’t let me. Sango was worried.”

“Why would that mako be concerned of my mate?” Sesshoumaru stared at him, all ears.

Staring at the setting sun, Kouga tapped his elbow. “What she told me was on their…shopping trip or whatever they were doing, he held his stomach a lot, winced in pain. That was a month ago, probably one of those ‘false’ labor pains that nobody could tell but him.” Kouga hitched an eyebrow at Sesshoumaru’s confused looks. “He didn’t tell you?”

“You lie.” Sesshoumaru glared at the wolf. “Inu-Yasha may act…unpredictable in the worse of times, and for the worse, but if he is in pain, I’d be the first to know – not a bunch of humans and dirt for demon.”

“‘Dirt for a demon’?” Kouga blinked, before thinking deeply. “Shippou?”

Sesshoumaru couldn’t contain a chuckle as he turned his back. “A wolf, that will be off my land, immediately, if he wants to live.”

“You’ve weakened. Thought you were going to kill me?” Kouga snorted.

“I was, but I don’t want your blood on my clothes.” Sesshoumaru continued off as Kouga laughed loudly.

The demon lord couldn’t believe it; his brother would have false labor contractions, and never tell him? If the baby was to die, it was as if he would do nothing but let it – making Sesshoumaru wonder if his brother even cared for their pup.

The thought made Sesshoumaru laugh; it coming from his mouth was unbearable. He, not even a few months before, had wanted anything to do with the child he had helped create, and now he cursed Inu-Yasha for not participating in his role.

Yet, it explained Inu-Yasha wanting to cuddle a lot, and while doing so would send pressure into the caress, trying to place pain somewhere else.

Shaking his head, Sesshoumaru snorted. He was only lying to himself, if his mate were to go into labor, the boy would obviously tell his older brother and lover.

Sesshoumaru huffed past the grinning servants towards his chambers, his feet beating against the ground with every stride as several bowed and congratulated him. For once, he had no clue what was going on. Had Inu-Yasha done something stupid that he had to handle immediately? Kill this problem now, asks questions later, Sesshoumaru figured.

He stopped in front of his door, hearing a giggle and Inu-Yasha’s squeaked voice to keep quiet, and Sesshoumaru froze. Had his brother found another mate in just three hours? No, it was impossible. Inu-Yasha was his. Another scent hit Sesshoumaru’s noise, but it was faint, unknown. Raising his suspicions even more.

Turning into the room, Sesshoumaru dropped his sword, his eyes wide as he stared at the bed. He had hoped that it had been another male; he wasn’t ready for all this – not so soon. Yet, it had happened – Kouga was right.

On his bed, Inu-Yasha smiled up with their puppy at hand. Golden eyes were partly closed, to tired to stay awake much longer. A crescent on the child’s head, two lines only on the child’s right chubby cheek. Dog-ears twitched on its head, and Sesshoumaru climbed, on all fours, in the bed and touched the child. Gold eyes opened, staring up at him – just noticing him and a small cry escaped the baby’s lips.

Handing the child over to his mate, Inu-Yasha smiled as Sesshoumaru held the child to his chest, staring down upon it. “What is it, Inu-Yasha?”

“A little girl, Sessy.” Inu-Yasha smiled as his brother rocked the child, the little girls cries silenced, staring up at the other parent. “We have to name her.”

“That we do.” Sesshoumaru smiled, sitting the child on his lap. His hands held the child by it’s back, it lied there, staring at him silently – unsure of what was happening. “Before so, when?”

“Was she born?” Inu-Yasha grabbed the child’s hands, letting it rest in his much larger palm. “I kept asking you to say, it was time while you were placing on your tunic. You wouldn’t listen to me – how was your fight with Kouga?”

Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes. “Why did you not just slap me and scream bluntly the baby wanted out!”

Inu-Yasha glared at him in reply. “I was trying not to! I was in pain, couldn’t think. You should have stayed to listen!” He jerked as the baby started crying, and he pulled the child against his chest. He unraveled his tunic, showing his muscular chest – it looked no different than before however his nipples were perked, ready for the child. Slowly, Inu-Yasha placed the child near, and the kid started eating almost immediately. “God, I’m never going to get use to this.”

Sesshoumaru smiled, rubbing the child’s thin hair as she ate, never looking up, breathing slowly. “Let’s see. Suki?” He started off a name.

Inu-Yasha grinned. “Suki works. I guess.” He stared down upon his little girl. “Suki…” He smiled as Sesshoumaru ran the little girl’s crescent moon and she yawned.

“It’s late Inu-Yasha, put her in her crib and let’s go eat.” Inu-Yasha stared at him, but nodded as he climbed out of bed – already fully healed.

Sesshoumaru yawned, stretching his bed, the moonlight still sparkled in the room, but he felt that something was missing. Turning onto his side, he blindly reached to grab Inu-Yasha. He needed to be up against something, to rub into something – most preferably his brother’s smooth ass.

What he didn’t find was his brother, only a pillow. Sitting up, Sesshoumaru stared around the room. He saw the window open, but doubted his brother had gone out for some fresh air.

Pulling out of bed, Sesshoumaru walked through the many halls, his nose smelling where his brother could have disappeared, he stopped outside their daughter’s room, Inu-Yasha’s scent was everywhere and strong in that one area. Pushing the door open, Sesshoumaru held his breath as he stared down at his brother.

Lying in front of the steel crib, Inu-Yasha was curled in a ball, his hand in the air, embracing the small girls. His ears twitched, keeping the first fly of the season away from buzzing in high range.

Walking into the room, the full demon sat near his brother’s head, on his knees. One hand ran through the white hair in his brother’s face, and Inu-Yasha cracked open an eye, staring up at his brother. “Ne, Nii-sama?” he rubbed his eyes.

“Yasha, what are you here for? Could you not sleep?” He ran a hand over the boy’s face, and Inu-Yasha released his daughter’s hand, bringing it up to his brother’s face.

“She was here, alone. What if another demon were to attack and take her from us? If you didn’t sense me leaving the bed, how would you sense another come in?”

Sesshoumaru blinked, pulling his brother on his lap as he sat on the ground. His tongue scrapped out Inu-Yasha’s shoulder. With each lick, Inu-Yasha’s head fell back, his mouth-opened agape, moaning silently – trying to keep the child asleep. He struggled in his brother’s grip, but the hand’s still roamed his body, down to the opening of his brother’s mink trousers that the half demon slept in during the winter.

“Nii-Sama,” Inu-Yasha panted, “please, the baby. W-We can’t wake her, she just went back to sleep!” His voice wasn’t loud enough to awake the said child, but it was forced to sound threatening. Sesshoumaru didn’t budge.

Sesshoumaru’s cold hands wrapped around Inu-Yasha’s cock, squeezing, and the spare to the lordship let out an involuntary howl – the child slept on.

As the mink pants were ripped off his body, Inu-Yasha tilted his head back, allowing Sesshoumaru to deepen the disappearing mark of authority. His teeth grazed of the skin before biting, digging into the soft flesh. Blood swelled Sesshoumaru’s mouth as Inu-Yasha’s eyes rolled behind his head.

He couldn’t voice his opinion any longer; all he wanted was to be screwed – tied down and fucked. His claws reached down, ripping the article of clothes from his brother’s body until he steadied himself over his brother’s throbbing erection.

Taking the hint, Sesshoumaru pushed into his brother, his breath froze as the heat enveloped his dick comfortably, and Inu-Yasha let out a howl.

Demon ears quirking, Sesshoumaru could hear a sniffle, and with his free hand, he opened the door to the crib and placed the child in his brother’s outstretched arms, not moving with his brother on his lap.

Watching Inu-Yasha feed the baby, Sesshoumaru licked his lips – hardening inside his brother, and the half-demon moaned, dropping his head of Sesshoumaru’s shoulder. Using his legendary strength, Sesshoumaru lifted his little brother up, pushing inside the boy with ferocity.

Inu-Yasha groaned, his head falling deeper his brother’s shoulder, whining gently. “Sesshoumaru, I-I’m, oh kami…” Inu-Yasha’s face fell forward as Sesshoumaru pushed into his prostate. He breathed deeply, trying not to squeeze the child, as he fixed the baby’s mouth upon his other perked nipple. The full demon still thrusted into the hanyou, ignoring the young life that seemed oblivious to their actions, “Stop Sesshoum-ah-ah!”

Grinning, Sesshoumaru tilted his brother, aiming against the small hanyou’s prostate, and he could see, feel, Inu-Yasha twitch.

Stilling, Inu-Yasha reached backwards with his freehand, aiming a claw at his brother’s face. Sesshoumaru let out a howl, grabbing hold of his applied wound as his brother fell forward, catching himself and the child before they impacted the ground. The child was screaming again, and Inu-Yasha held her close. “Sh. Suki, it’s okay.” He held her close, before glaring at his mate. “I told you to stop!”

“You didn’t have to fucking scratch me!” Sesshoumaru growled as he stood up, walking out of the room as his little brother held onto the child as a life line, crying in her thin mane.

“Are you okay Sessy-sama? Where’s ‘Yasha?” Rin stared around, not catching sight of her baby sister or the man she had grown fond of because he tucked her in every night.

Sesshoumaru bit roughly into his breakfast, never staring at her. “With Suki. I’m okay.” He sipped his water before turning to stare at the opening door. He had expected to see Inu-Yasha walk in, but the half-demon didn’t, only a servant. Sesshoumaru went back to eating.

“Is there going to be one of these big parties for the baby?”

“The ritual and ceremony of my child and mate?” Sesshoumaru stared at the girl, she nodded. “Yes, next month, it was a surprise for Inu-Yasha, but the way things are going, he won’t be living here much longer. I don’t smell him anywhere in my home, and right now, I’m not all that worried.”

“Is it ‘cause he scratched you? What were you guys fighting about?” She stared at her adoptive father, and he shook his head.

He didn’t know what to say, the girl was bright, in an innocent way. She wouldn’t understand what had happened, and he didn’t plan on telling her anyway.

“Are you going to look for him…?” Rin whispered, staring up from her plate.

Sesshoumaru threw his cloth down, snarling. “I have to – boy is probably dying from hunger by now. Besides, fact is, that’s my heir – boy or girl – and I want my child with me.” He walked out the door, and Rin smiled innocently before finishing her meal to go play in the garden.

Inu-Yasha fell to the ground, holding Suki close to his chest; he took in a deep breath, staring around. He felt unsafe, ever since he had left Sesshoumaru’s castle. But, he wouldn’t let the fear hold him down. He had a backbone, against popular belief, he just lost it during the pregnancy due to inability to move, but now, he was back to his old self.

He felt arms grip his hair, tugging gently, and he stared down at the small child that whined under him, and he frowned. It wasn’t safe for him to sit and feed her, but she’d start screaming and attract everybody.

Taking in a deep breath, Inu-Yasha sat on a rock, under a tree. Dropping his shirt, he allowed the small girl to start eating her dinner as he held on to her protectively. A howl echoed through the woods, and Inu-Yasha snorted before giving a small yawn. The moonlight still shined down, lightening up both mother and daughter as they sat quietly.

Suki released Inu-Yasha’s nipple, and the half demon relaxed the child upon his shoulder, taping her back silently. He’d half to bathe her, before he started off again. He heard her burp, and squinted as she threw up against his shoulder.

Rolling up some of his sleeve, the inu rubbed her mouth before starting to clean her. His tongue rolled along her face, and she began to yawn. It would take a few minutes until she was satisfactory, but the half demon smiled as she fell asleep in his arms, and he held her close, giving up cleaning the child.

He turned his head, picking up three other scents, and swallowed his breath as he stood up, starting off once more, but the scents only came closer. He felt he was in a haunted forest, the way the creatures were following him around. The crunching of leaves made him turn back, staring up as three demons jumped down from perches on trees, grinning at him.

They all were from the same pack, obviously abandoned wolves. Inu-Yasha breathed, holding the child close as he stepped back, maintaining his steps.

“A hanyou and its baby, how disgusting.” One said, walking towards the boy, and Inu-Yasha snarled, trying to look vicious.

The second broke out into laughter. “Watch out Lou, he might call his mate…” it was an insult, and all three laughed, Inu-Yasha turned, and took off in a run.

He could tell they weren’t going to leave him alone, and he could tell they were picking up speed on him. Turning a corner, he ran up the hill, falling to his knees as he stared over the cliff, before turning back towards the three approaching wolves. “Leave me alone!” He snarled, holding Suki close. “Or my mate will attack all three of you!!”

The men laughed, stepping closer to him, and Inu-Yasha prepared to attack with one hand. He let out a scream as all three jumped him at once, and he found himself under one, being held down by another. Golden eyes fell onto his daughter, being held upside down, screaming loudly, by the last wolf demon.

Struggling, Inu-Yasha continued yelling, tears staining the sides of his face for them to just put her on the ground and beat him. They didn’t fully ignore him. Inu-Yasha began to fight back as he tunic was pulled off, and all three demons laughed cruelly in mockery at the bite mark upon his neck.

Shuttering, the half demon let out a loud scream for Sesshoumaru as they descended upon him.

Sesshoumaru glared over the group of four – Miroku, Sango, Shippou, and Kirara. They hadn’t seen Inu-Yasha either, and it was irritating him to no end. Sesshoumaru didn’t feel like he was wrong at all, all her wanted was a bit of sex, and Inu-Yasha had complained even about that.

He turned, starting off in another direction. He could feel the presence of Inu-Yasha’s friends, but ignored them as he sniffed the region. Still no scent of his mate, and it was getting impossible. Shippou sat on his shoulder, staring around quickly – not that Sesshoumaru minded, it wasn’t the first that the small demon had made habit of such.

“Why did you two fight?” Sango asked, keeping pace on the back of Kirara’s back, each step easing into the earth.

Sesshoumaru never spoke as he jumped into a tree, Shippou falling off his back and being caught by Miroku. He stared around, licking his lips. He hadn’t told them of the child’s presence, as of yet – and they only followed because of Inu-Yasha’s ‘pregnant’ state.

Jumping upon another branch, the full demon sniffed the area; his brother had been there. His child was scented everywhere, and Inu-Yasha’s was almost faint, but he had been there. He turned his face, staring at a small creek, figuring Inu-Yasha had cleaned Suki’s diaper before continuing his run.

He nodded, walking on through the woods, breathing deeply with each passing second. For all he knew, both were dead. Sesshoumaru’s heart struck cold, licking his lips, as he stood straight in the air. He stared around once more, taking off down a hill, he could feel his brother’s presence, the boy was screaming for him. He was in danger.

Dropping his arms, he breathed deeply, taking in one deep breath, he closed his eyes. Still missing.

“Slow down, Sesshoumaru.” Miroku gulped, slowing next to the tall male. “I am sure Inu-Yasha isn’t in that much danger!” He frowned.

Sesshoumaru glared at the monk, gripping his hands. “Silence,” he glared, “my child is with him, and it means great with those stakes.” He snarled.

“This coming from a demon, for the first four months refused to acknowledge his own mate, or child.” Sango snorted. “Why so suddenly, did you really just decide he did matter?” She glared, and Sesshoumaru snorted.

“He’s my brother, he’s my responsibility. Also, I needed an heir, since Rin is unable to take hold of my lands.” He continued on, only to be stopped by Miroku that time.

“So, this is nothing about Inu-Yasha, only because of your fucking needs, he was stuck pregnant! Do you think he wanted to be some stuck up ass’s mate?” Miroku argued. “May be that is why he ran away, because you didn’t care about him, only sex and the child.”

Growling, Sesshoumaru slammed the human against a tree, hands above his brunet hair. Glaring, the full demon tightened his hold. “You dare harass that, I will kill you. I love my brother, I love my little girl.”

“Little girl, it hasn’t been born yet!” Miroku screamed loudly. Yet, his voice wasn’t loud enough as Sesshoumaru’s ears perked, his face turned to stare around. He had heard his brother, calling his name. Taking off east, Sesshoumaru prayed for the best.

Inu-Yasha scrambled quickly, his claw digging into one of the men’s eyes, wasn’t sure which, but the one on him. With his quick bit of freedom, he grasped his baby out of the inconsiderate red haired demons hands, grasping the child to his chest before trying to take off.

He felt a great weight press into his back, causing him to collapse against the ground, arms protecting Suki who had calmed down greatly. The hairs on his head were yanked, and he stared at the three demon’s faces as the smiled, sinisterly, down upon him. One lifted its leg, and with a powerful kick, Inu-Yasha was screaming loudly.

The next one lifted it’s leg, but Inu-Yasha never felt the impact, he cracked open his eyes long enough to see all three guys, almost spontaneously, be split in half. Obviously Sesshoumaru’s doing, but Inu-Yasha didn’t care as he tried holding back his tears as he jumped towards his brother’s arms.

Sesshoumaru wrapped his steady arms around the smaller male’s shaking frame, tilting his brother’s face to look into his own. Suki let out a howl, to be noticed, and grasped hold of her father’s hair, but neither looked at her.

“How dare you leave the safety of my – our home?” Sesshoumaru snarled, and Inu-Yasha turned his head.

Not casting his eyes upon his brother, the small inu ran a hand over the scar of Sesshoumaru’s check, almost covered by marks, but it meant everything to Inu-Yasha. “I told you to let me take care of her, but you just wanted sex! I can’t feed her and ride you at the same time; you have to set your priorities straight. She’s in the most need now, not your sex drive!”

Slamming his arm against a tree, pinning Inu-Yasha between, the Lord glared down, ready to pounce on his pray if needed, Inu-Yasha didn’t flinch as he stared at the small girl in his arms, sucking on the red tunic he wore. “Do not dare think that is the reason, I love both of you, I desired you that night. You scratched me, I gave up. All would be over today. You had endangered our child by leaving my estate, and you will return with me.” He stood straight, fixing his jacket and Inu-Yasha nodded, holding Suki close.

“I love you Sessy.” He whispered, never meeting his brother’s eyes.

The taller demon reached forward, lifting Suki in his arms and cuddled the little girl. “I love you too, ‘Yasha.”

Both jumped as Inu-Yasha companions jumped out ready for a fight that was not going to happen.

Sango cuddled the girl to her chest, cooing. “She’s so pretty.” She cried out, and the rest sweat dropped. Inu-Yasha rode of Kirara’s back, embraced on Sesshoumaru’s hold.

Shippou sat on her shoulder, making faces at the baby, but it ignored him and sucked on another rag given. Miroku was walking straight up, upset that nobody chose the names he had suggested. Yawning, Inu-Yasha smiled at Sesshoumaru, allowing his lips to be pecked.

“So, when is the Ceremony?” Miroku grinned.

Thinking, Inu-Yasha stared at his brother as the full demon smiled politely. “In a month, little brother. Both Child and yours.”

Jerking, Inu-Yasha frowned. “When was I going to know about this?”

“Tonight.” Sesshoumaru claimed his lips.

He stared down at his brother, sleeping peacefully under one blanket due to the winter breeze. It had become a part of the night, to awaken and stare at the number one beauty (besides his daughter) in his life. Inu-Yasha breathed deeply, snuggling into the warmth of his fur pillow.

Sesshoumaru blinked, staring down upon his brother’s warmth, running a claw over the check his brother was cuddling the warmth of the pillow – purring softly. He sometimes wondered if his brother was a mix with a cat, purring sometimes as he was doing.

Snuggling against Sesshoumaru’s pillow, the smaller half-demon grinned, moaning out his brother’s name, and Sesshoumaru grinned lightly. Running his finger of his brother’s plush lips, Sesshoumaru leaned down and kissed him, and Inu-Yasha acted upon it, kissing his brother in his sleep.

As he pulled away, the full demon stared at his brother as the boy pulled towards his side, trying to get comfortable again, and Sesshoumaru stared up at the crib that was moved into their room. Suki’s hands were moving; she was awake and about to scream. Pulling out of bed, Sesshoumaru lifted her up, cuddling her to his chest, and her golden eyes worked open to stare at him with a small pout.

Tapping the child’s bottom, Sesshoumaru snorted, she wasn’t wet, that meant she was hungry and that he’d have to wake his brother. Sitting on the bed, Sesshoumaru ran his hand down his brother’s cheek, watching as the boy tense before flexing open an eye to stare around.

“Ne, Sesshoumaru?” Inu-Yasha whispered, reaching up for the child that was flexing already in the older demon’s arms. He leaned against Sesshoumaru, drowsily as the child began to eat from his already bare chest. Opening one eye, he pecked his brother’s lips.

Smiling, Sesshoumaru ran his hands down his brother’s back, stopping at the hook of his pants as he leaned forward. “Feed her quickly.” He whispered, and Inu-Yasha blushed, switching his perked nipples. He watched Sesshoumaru’s eyes lust over before leaning down and licking the tip of the shinning nub. Grasping his brother’s hair, Inu-Yasha let out a moan.

Standing up, Inu-Yasha placed their daughter into the crib before straddling his brother’s hips, wrapping his arms around the demon’s head. His mouth fell opened as Sesshoumaru’s tongue lapped out and rolled along both shining nubs, flicking them to full stiffness that caused his brother to groan softly, squinting his eyes open.

Leaning in closer, Sesshoumaru captured one of the shined nubs in his mouth, sucking lightly. His tongue rolled around the tiny slit, sucking the sweet tasting milk that came from his brother’s lactating.

Inu-Yasha bit his lip, holding from crying out. His nipples, since Suki’s birth, had become tender and ready for touch, and Sesshoumaru was setting that touch. Moving his hips, he rubbed his concealed shaft over his brother’s, seeking touch everywhere.

Moving his brother, Sesshoumaru lied to younger boy under him, and on the bed where he lifted his brother legs, bringing the boy’s trousers down before flinging them somewhere in the room. Inu-Yasha panted as the cold stroked his swollen erection, rising it to rub against his brother’s as the older demon brought his cold fingers against the tip of his brother’s shaft, squeezing. “Who do you belong to, ‘Yasha?”

“Uhh…” Inu-Yasha whined, tilting his back up, an arch that allowed his brother to see the submissive form completely under him. “Please, just take me.” He strained, touching the man above him. Sesshoumaru grasped his hold, rubbing his brother’s shaft before stopping; he repeated the action when his brother lost some of his excitement. “Uh…you, Sesshoumaru. I belong to you!” The half demon cried out.

Sesshoumaru had to control himself from coming right then and there. Pulling himself out of his pants, before positioning himself at his brother’s entrance. “Yes, ‘Yasha, you’re mine.” He slid himself, carefully, into his unprepared brother, flexing his back as Inu-Yasha let out a muffled scream in the pillow. Sesshoumaru breathed deeply. “If anybody else were to touch you like I am, I will kill them.” He ran his claw through his brother’s hair.

“Only…you…” Inu-Yasha whimpered, moving his body, Sesshoumaru hissed. Pulling out, the stronger demon slammed back in. His lips captured his brother’s, wrapping his arms around his brother, holding the boy close.

Inu-Yasha deepened the kiss, tightening all his inner anal muscles, and Sesshoumaru gave a husky growl in his brother’s mouth. His fingers punctured a wound against the boy’s lips, leaving a small trail of blood, then turned to his brother’s neck. Inu-Yasha moaned – tilting his head to the side as his brother deepened the mark. As their lips met again, Inu-Yasha could taste his blood, and it sent a bit of thrill towards his groin.

Wrapping his arms against his brother’s ass, Inu-Yasha flipped them over, grasping hold of the bed canopy as he slid off his brother’s bulged penis before dropping once more on it, his eyes closed as he allowed one hand to wrap around his own erection. Sesshoumaru thrusted his hips up, seeking the warmth he wanted so much, his teeth grew sharper as Inu-Yasha began to move, playing a mean game of keeping his boy pussy away from his older brother.

Leaning up, his brother seeking a little more off his chest and towards his raised erection, Sesshoumaru grasped hold of one of his brother’s nipples, sucking harshly. His dick re-entered his brother, pushing against the boy’s prostate, and Inu-Yasha screamed.

His cum landed on both their chest as Sesshoumaru’s filled his ass, and he fell against his brother’s chest, breathing heavily. Staring up, Inu-Yasha giggled silently, unable to control it as he took his brother’s cheek in his hand and gently laid a kiss on his brother’s lips.

Pushing his tongue to dominate the kiss, the half-demon ran his little muscle over the fangs that still marked in his brother’s mouth, easing the canines back where they belonged before pulling away. He laid his head against his brother’s chest, holding close, for the warmth and the love.

“I love you, ‘Yasha.” Sesshoumaru ran his hand through his brother’s hair.

The smaller demon tilted his head up, kissing his brother’s cheek shyly. “Not as much as I love you, Sessy.” He smiled, closing his eyes with a yawn.

Rin laughed as Inu-Yasha pulled another strain of her hair, pulling a brush through it once more. Sesshoumaru sat on a chair, staring at his brother do the small girl’s hair with curiosity. In the year, Rin had grown her hair out, and had asked to put it in a braid, and Inu-Yasha was doing just that.

Actually, it wasn’t turning out bad, and Inu-Yasha was humming as he brushed hair over a piece. “Yasha-sama, where did you learn how to braid?” Rin stared up, and Inu-Yasha held in a smile.

“Yes, little brother, where did you?” Sesshoumaru blinked as his brother tied the bow at the bottom before letting Rin stand up.

Inu-Yasha held his hands up in defeat as he reached for Suki from her crib, holding her against his chest as she sucked on a small bear hanging out of her mouth. “I lived with two women last year, I had to pick up something, especially with the number of times Kagome braided my hair.” He smiled as he placed a small bow in the small bit of hair on top of Suki’s head, and the girl reached up, trying to swat him.

Running his hand over the girl, Sesshoumaru frowned. “That mako couldn’t have taught you anything if her life depended on it.” He helped Inu-Yasha to his feet, staring over his small family.

Both he and his brother were dressed in matching kimonos, both of white and red to match their normal gear. Inu-Yasha had placed a small braid in his own hair, bringing it down with a red ribbon and had it tied with his regular hair, bringing out the beauty Sesshoumaru knew he had.

Rin wore a white kimono that matched her little sister, both dressed in pure colors for the ceremony, laughing, the small girl reached up towards Sesshoumaru, begging to be held. They were all ready, if there ever was a time.

Pulling his brother’s bruised lips against his own, Sesshoumaru grinned. “Ready to show the others what is mine.” He smiled and his brother grinned back.

“Yours and mine.” He brought the small girl towards Sesshoumaru’s face. “Kiss good luck?” He tilted his head to a side.

Sesshoumaru stared down at the small girl who stared at the world with no clue what was going on. The hand-sewn rabbit was almost covered with drool as she dropped it on the ground, begging for somebody to bring it back to her so she could repeat the action. Kissing her fore brow, Sesshoumaru grinned. “Luck one.” He kissed his brother’s brow. “Luck two.”

Gripping hold of Sesshoumaru’s kimono, Rin stared up. “Can I have a kiss?” She asked, not wanting to be left out.

Inu-Yasha smiled, leaning down and taking the small girl into his arms and gave her a kiss on the check. “There you go.” He smiled.

Hugging Inu-Yasha, Rin smiled, staring up at Sesshoumaru. “And you said mating with your brother would be a waste of time…”
