Parents can help out their daughter's leaders (who are volunteers)
by helping with tranportation (even if it is just to go to the movies
or on a camping trip a few hours away (do not forget, they need to come home again
also.)  Parents can also help by reminding the girls when it
is their time to bring snacks to the meetings.  Other ways parents can help is by
organizing a field trip with the girls, help teach the girls skills you might know
(automotive, scrapbooking, computers, science, sewing, singing, first aid, fishing,
graphics, how to build a frame and/or a birdhouse, and the list can go on forever),
helping with cookie sales (especially the day to pick up cookies and the days the
girls work "Cookie Shops"), and anything else you can pretty much think of.
Plus, your daughter(s) will be proud and impressed as
well, that you were there for her and her friends.
You can teach automotive repair work to older girls.
