Story: The world is enshrouded by a deadly substance known as Miasma. Every village has a crystal to protect people from the poisenous gas, and every year the crystals must be renewed with 3 drops of myrrh. For this reason, every village sends out a caravan each year to collect drops of myrrh from myrrh trees. But as one such caravan from the Southernmost point of Tipa set out on this quest, they start to realize that more is wrong with the world than just the miasma surrounding it. Their quest is no longer just to rid their village of miasma, but the entire world, as well. |

Comments: This is the only game for GameCube made by Square Enix, and it is one heck of a game. It's pretty cool, because you can either play by yourself or in a team of four. But you need a Game Boy Advance and a Game Boy Advance-Gamecube cable for each player if you're going to play in multi-player a mode... so I've only played by myself so far... It's a bit of a money making scam if you ask me. But single player mode is still plenty fun! As well as the gameplay, beautful characters, levels, music, challenging puzzles and enemies all help to make this a fantastic game! You can play as a member of any of the four different tribes: Clavats, Selkies, Yukes, or Lilties, each of them with four different males and four different females, giving you a character option out of 32 characters. Square Enix really should make some more games for GameCube, because this is an incredible game! |
