Story: Shinra Inc., a giant energy manufacturing company, has been draining the earth of its life energy. AVALANCHE, a small resistance group, led by Barret Wallace, plan on standing up to Shinra, with hopes of saving the planet. They hire a cocky and bitter mercenary, Cloud Strife, to help them out. They struggles against Shinra continues as they pick up more allies, but once Cloud learns that an old enemy, Sephiroth, is still alive, Cloud shows a new side of himself and decides to go strait after Sephiroth. |

Comments: Well... I'm not a big fan of the gameplay... I absolutly hate turn-based battle systems, but I'll play 'em anyway. Although there are some really fun minigames. The story is what I really enjoy about this game... It'd probably be better off as a movie... or as a game with a real time battle system. The graphics ain't great either. They're very blocky. The music's spectacular, though. So if you're interested in the story, and can suffer through 72 hours of turn-based battles, by all means, play this game. |
