Story: When Isaac is awoken by his mother only to find that his village, Vale, is in grave danger from a giant boulder that's about to fall, he quickly rushes outside, and tries to navigate his way to safety through many paths blocked by boulders. He runs into his friend Garet, who agrees to join Isaac. Finally they get down to their friend Jenna's house, and are horrified to see Jenna's house crushed, and her brother Felix hanging on to a plank of wood to save him from being swept away by the current. Felix and Jenna's parents, along with Isaac's father, try desperately to reach Felix, while Isaac's mother scrambles around looking for somebody to help. Isaac, Garet, and Jenna end up going down to the village square to ask someone for help. One man agrees and sets off with them to help Felix. But unfortunatly, just as they get there, the boulder crashes down and kills Jenna's parents, Felix, and Isaac's father. Everyone stands around is disbelief, except for Isaac, who hurries off to find any more help that can be given, and Garet quickly follows. Two mysterious strangers find Isaac and Garet, and quickly defeat them. Three years later, Isaac, Garet and Jenna will go to visit Kraden, a wise man who has been tutoring them in Alchemy, so that they can head up to Mt. Aleph, but on their way there, they run into the same mysterious strangers. This time the strangers simply let them go, but Kraden seems to be worried by them. Finally the four go to Mt. Aleph and find their way to Sol Sanctum. But one there they find that they were followed by the mysterious villians. They also brought two of their companions, a strange warrior named Alex, and... Felix... |

Comments: You'll have to play to find out what happens next in this exciting adventure. There are lots of twists and turns that eventually lead to a sequel. The graphics are awesome. The music is absolutely beautiful. The sound's great. There are many challenging puzzles and battles. And although the battle system is nothing extraordinary, it's still really fun and the summons attacks are awesome! This game won a lot of awards in the 2001 Nintendo Power Awards, such as, Best Gameboy Advance Game, Best Gameboy Advance Graphics, Best RPG/Strategy Game, Most Difficult Boss(Fusion Dragon... and, boy, is he tough...), Best In-Game Text/Dialogue, and Coolest Box Art, as well as being the runner up for a couple categories. This is an awesome game, and if you have a Gameboy Advance, then there's no reason why you shouldn't get this game. |
