Story: Sora, Riku, and Kairi have always wondered what's beyond the small chain of islands they've lived on for so long. They agree to make a raft and explore the lands beyond the horizon. Meanwhile, in an entirely different world, Donald and Goofy, King Mickey's loyal servants, are shocked to find that the King left the castle and went to investigate why stars have been disappearing in the dead of night. King Mickey mentions in a note he left them that they are to find the keeper of the key and stick by him. Goofy and Donald head out to find this man. Back in his own world, Sora's just hanging out in his room. Glancing out the window, he's surprised to see a storm surrounding the island the raft is on. He quickly jumps in his boat and heads over to the island. There he finds that Riku and Kairi's boats are also there. He heads out to find them, but just then shadows emerge from the ground and transform into faceless monsters. Sora draws a wooden sword he plays with sometimes and tries attacking them, but to no avail. He runs off to find Kairi and Riku once more, and finds Riku first. Riku stares up into a dark sphere and turns around to talk to Sora. He tells him that this may be there only chance to explore other worlds, and just then the dark sphere desends and starts wrapping around Riku. Sora quickly grasps for his hand, but can't quite reach him. Riku suddenly disappears and Sora finds himself holding a giant key. "Keyblade," a voice seems to whisper. Sora discovers that this Keyblade allows him to attack those shapeless monsters. He runs off to find Kairi, but what he'll find is an adventure he'll never forget. |

Comments: Good stuff... good stuff... We gots some real time battle systems, Disney characters fighting along side ya(well, you may not like Disney, but I do), beautiful worlds filled with fantastic graphics, great music, and awesome videos floating around the internet feeding our need for Kingdom Hearts II. The gameplay is so awesome in this game, I can't tear myself away. Fighting Sephiroth was one of my finest moments in gaming. I could leave you an incredibly long detailed play-by-play of my battle against that fella, but I won't. |
