Story: The Mushroom Kingdom is getting a visit from a representative of the Beanbean Kingdom. But when she arrives, Princess Peach is horrified to discover that it's not a representative, but an evil witch named Cackletta! Cackletta somehow manages to steal Princess Peach's voice and replaces it with very "explosive" language. Cackletta and her sidekick, Fawful, quickly flee back to the Beanbean Kingdom. Mario is quickly called onto the scene, and is asked to go off to the Beanbean Kingdom and get back Princess Peach's voice. So far a journey would be difficult to travel on foot, but fortunatly for Mario, the notorious Bowser shows up and surprisingly agrees to escort Mario to the Beanbean Kingdom. Luigi comes to see Mario off, but he reluctantly is forced to come along on the journey as well. Now Mario and Luigi must work together to get back Peach's voice. But there's more at stake then just the Princess' voice... |

Comments: Yay for brotherly love! Many people(included myself) weren't sure if this was a multiplayer or single player game. Well, it's a single player game. You control both Mario and Luigi. Together they'll solve puzzles, face enemies, and explore the Beanbean Kingdom. It's a very innovative idea, controlling two characters at the same time, and it's a lot of fun. Don't have high expectations for the music, but other than that, this game isn't very flawed. The graphics are beautifully detailed and colored, and the sound is great; Mario and Luigi's voices are halarious. In fact a lot of things in this game are halarious, like just about every word that comes out of Fawful's mouth, for instance. This is a fantastic game, and I don't know why you're still reading this... you should've gone out and bought the game by now... |
