Comments: Anyone reading this who doesn't like Super Smash Bros. Melee, you're a moron. This game is incredible, and don't you forget it. Beautiful music, fantastic graphics, great sounds, and classic characters from all corners of the Nintendo world come together to make this one of the best games ever created(and probably THE best for Gamecube). If you want to take on one of the most challenging games ever made, you got it(good luck defeating Giga Bowser...). This game has endless challenges(like Cruel Melee... ::shudders::), and endless replay value. As most of you could have probably guessed, it won several awards at the 2001 Nintendo Power Awards. Super Smash Bros. Melee won Best Overall Game, Best Nintendo Gamecube Title, Best Overall Graphics(but not Best Nintendo Gamecube Graphics... How does that work?), Best Music, Best Sound, Best Sequel, Best Multiplayer Mode, Best New Villain(Giga Bowser), Best New Weapon/Item(Super Scope), Best Secret/Unlockable Character(Mr. Game and Watch), Best Way to Amaze Your Friends(smash someone off the stage), The Hardest Job in All of Gaming(collect every trophy), and Best Game URL.
