The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
System:  Originally released for Gameboy(except with no DX, which stands for Deluxe), and later released for Gameboy Color, with color and a few extra features.
Story:  After defeating the evil Ganon, Link sets out on a quest for enlightenment, so that he may become an even better warrior, and prepare for the next evil that may arise.  But when returning to Hyrule, a violent storm arose and blasted his ship into mere splinters.  He fades into darkeness, and when he awakes he could swear that Princess Zelda is standing over him, but it turns out to be a girl named Marin, who explains to Link that she found him washed up on the beach of Koholint Island, and brought him to her father Tarin's house.  Tarin gives Link his shield, which also washed up on the beach, and recommends that Link search down at the beach for other objects he may have dropped.  Link goes to the beach and finds his sword, and then a mysterious owl swoops down and simply tells him, "Awaken the Wind Fish and all will be answer."  Link learns that the Wind Fish thrives in a giant egg at the northern peak of the island, and in order to awaken the Wind Fish, Link must play the "Ballad of the Wind Fish" with the eight siren instruments, which is where his adventure begins...
Comments:  Probably of the best games ever made for the original Gameboy, if not the best.  For Gameboy, the graphics are good and the music rocks.  The complex Koholint Island leaves many places for you to explore, and the challenging dungeons make this game last for awhile, not to mention a couple fun sidequests.  This game may not have Zelda, Ganon(OR DOES IT?!?!?!), the Master Sword, Hyrule or the Triforce, but it's an exellent installment to the Zelda series.
