The SFMH3 Whitby-Scarborough relay run

On Saturday the 15th August, the Scarborough Full Moon hash managed to run from Whitby to Scarborough, along the disused railway track, in aid of the Celandine Fund at Scarborough Hospital Childrens' Therapy Unit

In hash tradition, it wasn't on the day or night of the full moon, but did include, for some, a beer stop at the Hayburn Wyke pub. In all, it took the pack three hours to get from Whitby Abbey to YD's house at Stepney Road. Most only ran a couple of 'stages', but Boghopper, Dracula and Meldrew all completed the full distance.

Details of the monies raised will NOT appear here for the simple reason that it was a long time ago now, I am new webmaster, and nobody can remember anyway! But if you would like more information on the Celandine fund, then please telephone Jane on Scarborough (01723) 377241
