1999-2000-Baritone Alfonso Antoniozzi  withdrew an hour before curtain time with a cold. Adler Fellow Philip Horst was left to carry on gamely in his stead.  Russian bass Stanislaw Schwets, making a nondescript U.S. debut as Zerlina's loutish sweetheart Masetto./ Review

This Leporello was bit scruffier than most, and a lot more original in his comic shtick. Admittedly, some of it was wildly broad and didn't quite come off, but on the whole, baritone Alfonso Antoniozzi provided a relief from the run-of-the-mill interpretations of this role. Basso Stanislaw Schwets made a strong Masetto, both masculine and convincingly vulnerable./

Ah, pieta! Signori miei!
Oren Gradus
2006-2007
Bass Oren Gradus was a comedically sharp but vocally fussy Leporello.. Baritone Luca Pisaroni made a creditable company debut as Masetto/ Review 2007
Luca Pisaroni
2006-2007
Oren Gradus' Leporello is the perfect foil to Kwiecien's Don Giovanni. Gradus always maintains his dignity, even when he's terrified in the closing scenes, never becoming abjectly servile or, worse, a buffoon...Luca Pisaroni was fine as Masetto, without being especially individual in his approach... It's easy to see the tension in Luca Pisaroni's Masetto, as he struggles to stay contained while clearly jealous and angry about the interplay between Don Giovanni and Zerlina./ SFCV
