On Reflection

This marks the end of chapter one and this is as good a time as any to reflect upon the progress done so far.

It is rather unfortunate that my drawing has hardly improved at all. I always thought that given practice, improvement would be guaranteed. I guess I ought to have remembered what the guest of honour had said back at Commencement: "Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes permanence." I will make effort to be better at this.

Although I have tried my best to be lucid in my writing, I tend to ramble at times. It has also been difficult to write without going into too much detail and yet be understandable. Again, I will make effort to be better at this.

Nevertheless, it has been a fun project so far and I hope the next chapter will be just as engaging. Now, to get back to MapleSEA…
