On Articulation

At its heart, New Cryptographic Story is a story about communication. It is about saying the things we care most to the people we care most. As I write this, I recall a passage I wrote some time back.

Who would have that the mind can be so detached from the mouth, that the thoughts that are so carefully built within the recesses of the brain can upon channeling to the world of words and sentences, which unless mastered, crumbles like sandcastles upon the waves. Indeed, that the facades worn by many may just be involuntary chains shackled by the imperfection of communication, a misinterpretation of information.

I had written that passage at a time when I found myself struggling to put to words the emotions and thoughts I was having. In retrospect, the difficulty could well have been a result of a lack of mastery over the language. Nevertheless, I am sure most of us have been caught in situations where words simply fail us. Perhaps, there are those among us who can empathize fully with Bob and Alice.
