Sakuya Aizawa is a cousin of Nagi and from Kansai. Like Nagi, Sakuya is very rich and has a similar personality, loud, arrogant, abusive of servants, and unwilling to accept defeat in anything. Nagi is one of the only people who can stand up to her, once again showing their similar personalities. Sakuya is the eldest daughter in her family with three sisters and one brother. Her illegitimate half brother Gilbert is one of the people who is constantly harassing Nagi for her fortune. She does not really like him at all.

Sakuya is obsessed with stand-up comedy especially Manzai style. She encourages Hayate to become a comedian because she believes Hayate's life up to now is nothing more than a comedy. She is into games as well, as much as Nagi is. However, she shares no interest towards manga especially those written by Nagi herself. She once accompanies Nagi and company to visit Mikado Sanzen'in that happen to be her grandfather as well. She frequently visit Nagi at her mansion either alone or with Isumi. Her bodyguards, Makita and Kunieda were always with her in the shadows. At another attempt by Gilbert Kent to get Nagi's fortune, Sakuya openly accuse Gilbert of putting Nagi in danger when it is Prototype Seven that went berserk. That is how much she must have hated him.

Sakuya become interested in marriage meetings one day and decide to find out what exactly is that. Often being the big sister towards her younger siblings including Nagi, she wonder if Nagi has the ability to do the same. She had her first experience at the supernatural with her meeting of a deity called Tochigami with Isumi and manage to help her defeat a phantom in the process.

Sakuya invite Nagi to go on a cruise with her and end up being attacked by terrorists. Even though they are subdued by their combat butlers, the terrorists manage to cause an explosion and sink the ship. Sakuya and the others still manage to escape the sinking ship successfully.
