Shiori Makimura is a genius scientist with the Mikado Hyper Energy (M.H.E) Electronics Corporation as the Chief of Development, Humanoid Nursing and Battlefield Weapons Department, and Advanced Technology Development Division. Her specialties is computers and machines. Her development team created Nursing Robot Eight and other machines seen here. She is seen experimenting her newest invention, Nursing Robot Nine, when Eight appear and destroy it, taking its control chip away and use it to upgrade itself to Version 8.1. It once asks her to be his girlfriend and she accepts. She is later sent to teach at Hakuou Academy because her superiors believe she does not have enough heart. There, she replaces Yukiji Katsura as homeroom teacher for Hayate Ayasaki's class and give Yukiji a chance to bear a grudge towatrds her. Yujiki then plans a plot to retake her role as homeroom teacher but backfired on her when the upgraded Nursing Robot Eight appears. In a twist of fate, Shiori believes that she can learn faster to have a heart if she learns it from Yukiji. Apparently, that is never the case at all.

Shiori is the person who built Mecha Butler 13.
