Izumi Segawa, Miki Hanabishi, and Risa Asakaze are seen almost always together. The trio and Hinagiku make up the school's student council. Izumi is the chairman, Miki is vice-chairman, and Risa is the head of the disciplinary committee. They are also class representatives. Izumi is class rep, Miki is vice-class rep, and Risa is in charge of discipline. They are the same age and grade as Hayate and have the same homeroom as Hayate and Nagi. Despite being in a prestigious private school, the trio proclaim they're "genuine idiots" so they are tutored by Yukiji at night. They always call Hayate 'Hayata' no matter what Hayate says.

They have once participated in a video game world trying to get to the demon king of the game. Hinagiku soon joined in the fun and together, they manage to defeat the demon king and emerge victorious. The reason why they can get into the video game world is merely because the video game is literally possessed by an evil spirit. They merely have to win to return to reality which they did successfully. They often visit Nagi's mansion to check on Hayate and were the ones who initially inform Hayate that he fail the entrance exam for Hakuou Academy. They participated in the beach class with Hayate and the others as well. During the Battle Butler Tournament, Risa employs the Yakuza as temporary butlers for her and manage to advance to the quarterfinals only to lose to the cost of employing them. Miki employs Hinagiku as her temporary butler for the sake of getting the prize of winning the tournament. Hinagiku is defeated by Hayate in the final round. Izumi did not participate at all because her butler refuse to do so.

They are members of the Motion Picture Research Club. They attempt to save the club from Kirika who threate to close it down if it turn out to be boring to her. They manage to accomplish that by saying they will show Kirika some great embarrassing videos of Hayate in the near future. Kirika allow them to continue because of this. They conducted their first ever Normal Story Competition that invite many contestants to tell relatively normal stories. No one really win in this competition.
