I arrived safely from Prague. With the Acron Connect still giving problems that even the experts can't solve, I gave up on it and immediately constructed a new master station using an ILC with some input and output modules.

I programmed the new master station and made sure the whole demostration was in order. My partner and I also rehersed the presentation.
Wednesday 15.10.2003
With many colleagues of Phoenix Contact and Prof Meier around, my partner and I presented our project to them. We also showed them the demostration. This was a great sucess as everyone was impressed with our progress. Later in the day, Prof Meier took us to Minden to visit another company called ABB. They are interested to take in 2 other Singaporean students in the next summer. They wanted to meet us to know how working in Germany for us was like.

I returned to the office and deconstructed all the hardware. I also cleaned my desk.
Friday 17.10.2003
My final day working in Phoenix Contact. Some colleagues gave me presents and I took many photos with them. It was so emotional for me to leave. Later in the day I flew off to London.

In London, I watched a musical called The Phanotm Of The Opera.

I finally attended an English-speaking church for 5 months in London.
